1 And it came to pass that Enoch continued his speech, saying: Behold, our father Adam taught these things, and many have believed and become the sons of God, and many have believed not, and have perished in their sins, and are looking forth with fear, in torment, for the fiery indignation of the wrath of God to be poured out upon them.

1 Y sucedió que Enoc continuó sus palabras, diciendo: He aquí, nuestro padre Adán enseñó estas cosas, y muchos han creído y han llegado a ser hijos de Dios; y muchos no han creído y han perecido en sus pecados, y con temor esperan, atormentados, que se derrame sobre ellos la ardiente indignación de la ira de Dios.

2 And from that time forth Enoch began to prophesy, saying unto the people, that: As I was journeying, and stood upon the place Mahujah, and cried unto the Lord, there came a voice out of heaven, saying—Turn ye, and get ye upon the mount Simeon.

2 Y de allí en adelante Enoc empezó a profetizar, diciendo al pueblo: Mientras viajaba y me hallaba en el lugar llamado Mahújah, clamé al Señor, y vino una voz de los cielos que decía: Vuélvete y asciende al monte de Simeón.

3 And it came to pass that I turned and went up on the mount; and as I stood upon the mount, I beheld the heavens open, and I was clothed upon with glory;

3 Y aconteció que me volví y subí al monte; y mientras estaba en el monte, vi abrirse los cielos y fui revestido de gloria;

4 And I saw the Lord; and he stood before my face, and he talked with me, even as a man talketh one with another, face to face; and he said unto me: Look, and I will show unto thee the world for the space of many generations.

4 y vi al Señor; y estaba ante mi faz, y habló conmigo, así como un hombre habla con otro, cara a cara; y me dijo: Mira, y te mostraré el mundo por el espacio de muchas generaciones.

5 And it came to pass that I beheld in the valley of Shum, and lo, a great people which dwelt in tents, which were the people of Shum.

5 Y he aquí, aconteció que vi en el valle de Shum un pueblo numeroso que habitaba en tiendas, el cual era el pueblo de Shum.

6 And again the Lord said unto me: Look; and I looked towards the north, and I beheld the people of Canaan, which dwelt in tents.

6 Y otra vez me dijo el Señor: Mira; y miré hacia el norte y vi al pueblo de Canaán, que vivía en tiendas.

7 And the Lord said unto me: Prophesy; and I prophesied, saying: Behold the people of Canaan, which are numerous, shall go forth in battle array against the people of Shum, and shall slay them that they shall utterly be destroyed; and the people of Canaan shall divide themselves in the land, and the land shall be barren and unfruitful, and none other people shall dwell there but the people of Canaan;

7 Y el Señor me dijo: Profetiza; y yo profeticé, diciendo: He aquí, el pueblo de Canaán, que es numeroso, saldrá a la batalla contra el pueblo de Shum y lo matará hasta destruirlo por completo; y el pueblo de Canaán se repartirá sobre la tierra, y la tierra será estéril e infecunda y ningún otro pueblo vivirá allí sino el de Canaán;

8 For behold, the Lord shall curse the land with much heat, and the barrenness thereof shall go forth forever; and there was a blackness came upon all the children of Canaan, that they were despised among all people.

8 porque he aquí, el Señor maldecirá la tierra con mucho calor, y su esterilidad continuará para siempre; y vino un color obscuro sobre todos los hijos de Canaán, de modo que fueron despreciados entre toda gente.

9 And it came to pass that the Lord said unto me: Look; and I looked, and I beheld the land of Sharon, and the land of Enoch, and the land of Omner, and the land of Heni, and the land of Shem, and the land of Haner, and the land of Hanannihah, and all the inhabitants thereof;

9 Y sucedió que el Señor me dijo: Mira; y miré y vi la tierra de Sarón, y la tierra de Enoc, y la tierra de Omner, y la tierra de Heni, y la tierra de Sem, y la tierra de Haner, y la tierra de Hannanníah, y a todos sus habitantes;

10 And the Lord said unto me: Go to this people, and say unto them—Repent, lest I come out and smite them with a curse, and they die.

10 y el Señor me dijo: Ve a los de este pueblo y diles: Arrepentíos, no sea que yo venga y los hiera con una maldición, y perezcan.

11 And he gave unto me a commandment that I should baptize in the name of the Father, and of the Son, which is full of grace and truth, and of the Holy Ghost, which beareth record of the Father and the Son.

11 Y me dio el mandamiento de bautizar en el nombre del Padre, y del Hijo, lleno de gracia y de verdad, y del Espíritu Santo, que da testimonio del Padre y del Hijo.

12 And it came to pass that Enoch continued to call upon all the people, save it were the people of Canaan, to repent;

12 Y sucedió que Enoc continuó llamando a todo pueblo al arrepentimiento, salvo al pueblo de Canaán;

13 And so great was the faith of Enoch that he led the people of God, and their enemies came to battle against them; and he spake the word of the Lord, and the earth trembled, and the mountains fled, even according to his command; and the rivers of water were turned out of their course; and the roar of the lions was heard out of the wilderness; and all nations feared greatly, so powerful was the word of Enoch, and so great was the power of the language which God had given him.

13 y tan grande fue la fe de Enoc que dirigió al pueblo de Dios, y sus enemigos salieron a la batalla contra ellos; y él habló la palabra del Señor, y tembló la tierra, y huyeron las montañas, de acuerdo con su mandato; y los ríos de agua se desviaron de su cauce, y se oyó el rugido de los leones en el desierto; y todas las naciones temieron en gran manera, por ser tan poderosa la palabra de Enoc, y tan grande el poder de la palabra que Dios le había dado.

14 There also came up a land out of the depth of the sea, and so great was the fear of the enemies of the people of God, that they fled and stood afar off and went upon the land which came up out of the depth of the sea.

14 También salió una tierra de la profundidad del mar, y fue tan grande el temor de los enemigos del pueblo de Dios, que huyeron y se apartaron lejos y se fueron a la tierra que salió de lo profundo del mar.

15 And the giants of the land, also, stood afar off; and there went forth a curse upon all people that fought against God;

15 Y los gigantes de la tierra también se quedaron lejos; y cayó una maldición sobre todo el pueblo que pugnaba contra Dios;

16 And from that time forth there were wars and bloodshed among them; but the Lord came and dwelt with his people, and they dwelt in righteousness.

16 y de allí en adelante hubo guerras y derramamiento de sangre entre ellos; mas el Señor vino y habitó con su pueblo, y moraron en rectitud.

17 The fear of the Lord was upon all nations, so great was the glory of the Lord, which was upon his people. And the Lord blessed the land, and they were blessed upon the mountains, and upon the high places, and did flourish.

17 El temor del Señor cayó sobre todas las naciones, por ser tan grande la gloria del Señor que cubría a su pueblo. Y el Señor bendijo la tierra, y los de su pueblo fueron bendecidos sobre las montañas y en los lugares altos, y prosperaron.

18 And the Lord called his people ZION, because they were of one heart and one mind, and dwelt in righteousness; and there was no poor among them.

18 Y el Señor llamó SION a su pueblo, porque eran uno en corazón y voluntad, y vivían en rectitud; y no había pobres entre ellos.

19 And Enoch continued his preaching in righteousness unto the people of God. And it came to pass in his days, that he built a city that was called the City of Holiness, even ZION.

19 Y Enoc continuó su predicación en justicia al pueblo de Dios. Y aconteció que en sus días él edificó una ciudad que se llamó la Ciudad de Santidad, a saber, SION.

20 And it came to pass that Enoch talked with the Lord; and he said unto the Lord: Surely Zion shall dwell in safety forever. But the Lord said unto Enoch: Zion have I blessed, but the residue of the people have I cursed.

20 Y aconteció que Enoc habló con el Señor, y le dijo: Ciertamente Sion morará segura para siempre. Mas el Señor le dijo a Enoc: He bendecido a Sion, pero he maldecido al resto de la gente.

21 And it came to pass that the Lord showed unto Enoch all the inhabitants of the earth; and he beheld, and lo, Zion, in process of time, was taken up into heaven. And the Lord said unto Enoch: Behold mine abode forever.

21 Y aconteció que el Señor le mostró a Enoc todos los habitantes de la tierra; y vio, y he aquí, con el transcurso del tiempo, Sion fue llevada al cielo. Y el Señor dijo a Enoc: He allí mi morada para siempre.

22 And Enoch also beheld the residue of the people which were the sons of Adam; and they were a mixture of all the seed of Adam save it was the seed of Cain, for the seed of Cain were black, and had not place among them.

22 Y Enoc también vio al resto de los del pueblo, que eran los hijos de Adán; y eran una mezcla de toda la descendencia de Adán, salvo la de Caín, porque los de la posteridad de Caín eran negros, y no tenían cabida entre ellos.

23 And after that Zion was taken up into heaven, Enoch beheld, and lo, all the nations of the earth were before him;

23 Y después que Sion fue llevada al cielo, Enoc miró; y he aquí, todas las naciones de la tierra estaban delante de él;

24 And there came generation upon generation; and Enoch was high and lifted up, even in the bosom of the Father, and of the Son of Man; and behold, the power of Satan was upon all the face of the earth.

24 y una generación sucedía a otra; y Enoc fue enaltecido y elevado hasta el seno del Padre y del Hijo del Hombre; y he aquí, el poder de Satanás se extendía sobre toda la faz de la tierra.

25 And he saw angels descending out of heaven; and he heard a loud voice saying: Wo, wo be unto the inhabitants of the earth.

25 Y vio que descendían ángeles del cielo; y oyó una voz fuerte que decía: ¡Ay! ¡Ay de los habitantes de la tierra!

26 And he beheld Satan; and he had a great chain in his hand, and it veiled the whole face of the earth with darkness; and he looked up and laughed, and his angels rejoiced.

26 Y vio a Satanás; y este tenía en su mano una cadena grande que cubrió de obscuridad toda la faz de la tierra; y miró hacia arriba, y se rio, y sus ángeles se alegraron.

27 And Enoch beheld angels descending out of heaven, bearing testimony of the Father and Son; and the Holy Ghost fell on many, and they were caught up by the powers of heaven into Zion.

27 Y Enoc vio que descendían ángeles del cielo, dando testimonio del Padre y del Hijo; y el Espíritu Santo cayó sobre muchos, y fueron arrebatados hasta Sion por los poderes del cielo.

28 And it came to pass that the God of heaven looked upon the residue of the people, and he wept; and Enoch bore record of it, saying: How is it that the heavens weep, and shed forth their tears as the rain upon the mountains?

28 Y aconteció que el Dios del cielo miró al resto del pueblo, y lloró, y Enoc dio testimonio de ello, diciendo: ¿Por qué lloran los cielos, y derraman sus lágrimas como la lluvia sobre las montañas?

29 And Enoch said unto the Lord: How is it that thou canst weep, seeing thou art holy, and from all eternity to all eternity?

29 Y dijo Enoc al Señor: ¿Cómo es posible que tú llores, si eres santo, y de eternidad en eternidad?

30 And were it possible that man could number the particles of the earth, yea, millions of earths like this, it would not be a beginning to the number of thy creations; and thy curtains are stretched out still; and yet thou art there, and thy bosom is there; and also thou art just; thou art merciful and kind forever;

30 Y si fuera posible que el hombre pudiese contar las partículas de la tierra, sí, de millones de tierras como esta, no sería ni el principio del número de tus creaciones; y tus cortinas aún están desplegadas; y tú todavía estás allí, y tu seno está allí; y también eres justo; eres misericordioso y benévolo para siempre;

31 And thou hast taken Zion to thine own bosom, from all thy creations, from all eternity to all eternity; and naught but peace, justice, and truth is the habitation of thy throne; and mercy shall go before thy face and have no end; how is it thou canst weep?

31 y de todas tus creaciones has tomado a Sion a tu propio seno, de eternidad en eternidad; y nada sino paz, justicia y verdad es la habitación de tu trono; y la misericordia irá delante de tu faz y no tendrá fin; ¿cómo es posible que llores?

32 The Lord said unto Enoch: Behold these thy brethren; they are the workmanship of mine own hands, and I gave unto them their knowledge, in the day I created them; and in the Garden of Eden, gave I unto man his agency;

32 El Señor dijo a Enoc: He allí a estos, tus hermanos; son la obra de mis propias manos, y les di su conocimiento el día en que los creé; y en el Jardín de Edén le di al hombre su albedrío;

33 And unto thy brethren have I said, and also given commandment, that they should love one another, and that they should choose me, their Father; but behold, they are without affection, and they hate their own blood;

33 y a tus hermanos he dicho, y también he dado mandamiento, que se amen el uno al otro, y que me prefieran a mí, su Padre, mas he aquí, no tienen afecto y aborrecen su propia sangre;

34 And the fire of mine indignation is kindled against them; and in my hot displeasure will I send in the floods upon them, for my fierce anger is kindled against them.

34 y el fuego de mi indignación está encendido en su contra; y en mi intenso desagrado enviaré los diluvios sobre ellos, porque mi furiosa ira está encendida en contra de ellos.

35 Behold, I am God; Man of Holiness is my name; Man of Counsel is my name; and Endless and Eternal is my name, also.

35 He aquí, yo soy Dios; Hombre de Santidad es mi nombre; Varón de Consejo me llamo; y Sin Fin y Eterno es también mi nombre.

36 Wherefore, I can stretch forth mine hands and hold all the creations which I have made; and mine eye can pierce them also, and among all the workmanship of mine hands there has not been so great wickedness as among thy brethren.

36 Por consiguiente, puedo extender mis manos y abarcar todas las creaciones que he hecho; y mi ojo las puede traspasar también, y de entre toda la obra de mis manos jamás ha habido tan grande iniquidad como entre tus hermanos.

37 But behold, their sins shall be upon the heads of their fathers; Satan shall be their father, and misery shall be their doom; and the whole heavens shall weep over them, even all the workmanship of mine hands; wherefore should not the heavens weep, seeing these shall suffer?

37 Mas he aquí, sus pecados caerán sobre la cabeza de sus padres. Satanás será su padre, y miseria su destino; y todos los cielos llorarán sobre ellos, sí, toda la obra de mis manos; por tanto, ¿no han de llorar los cielos, viendo que estos han de sufrir?

38 But behold, these which thine eyes are upon shall perish in the floods; and behold, I will shut them up; a prison have I prepared for them.

38 Mas he aquí, estos que tus ojos ven morirán en los diluvios; y he aquí, los encerraré; he preparado una prisión para ellos.

39 And that which I have chosen hath pled before my face. Wherefore, he suffereth for their sins; inasmuch as they will repent in the day that my Chosen shall return unto me, and until that day they shall be in torment;

39 Y Aquel a quien he escogido ha abogado ante mi faz. Por consiguiente, él padece por los pecados de ellos, si es que se arrepienten el día en que mi Elegido vuelva a mí, y hasta ese día se verán atormentados.

40 Wherefore, for this shall the heavens weep, yea, and all the workmanship of mine hands.

40 Por esto, pues, llorarán los cielos, sí, y toda la obra de mis manos.

41 And it came to pass that the Lord spake unto Enoch, and told Enoch all the doings of the children of men; wherefore Enoch knew, and looked upon their wickedness, and their misery, and wept and stretched forth his arms, and his heart swelled wide as eternity; and his bowels yearned; and all eternity shook.

41 Y aconteció que el Señor le habló a Enoc, y le declaró todos los hechos de los hijos de los hombres; por lo que Enoc supo, y vio las abominaciones y la miseria de ellos, y lloró y extendió sus brazos, y se ensanchó su corazón como la anchura de la eternidad; y se conmovieron sus entrañas; y toda la eternidad tembló.

42 And Enoch also saw Noah, and his family; that the posterity of all the sons of Noah should be saved with a temporal salvation;

42 Y Enoc también vio a Noé y a su familia; que la posteridad de todos los hijos de Noé se salvaría con una salvación temporal;

43 Wherefore Enoch saw that Noah built an ark; and that the Lord smiled upon it, and held it in his own hand; but upon the residue of the wicked the floods came and swallowed them up.

43 por tanto, Enoc vio que Noé construyó un arca; y que el Señor estuvo complacido con ella, y la sostuvo con su propia mano; pero las aguas descendieron sobre el resto de los inicuos y los tragaron.

44 And as Enoch saw this, he had bitterness of soul, and wept over his brethren, and said unto the heavens: I will refuse to be comforted; but the Lord said unto Enoch: Lift up your heart, and be glad; and look.

44 Y al ver esto, Enoc sintió amargura dentro de su alma, y lloró por sus hermanos, y dijo a los cielos: No seré consolado; mas el Señor le dijo: Anímese tu corazón, regocíjate y mira.

45 And it came to pass that Enoch looked; and from Noah, he beheld all the families of the earth; and he cried unto the Lord, saying: When shall the day of the Lord come? When shall the blood of the Righteous be shed, that all they that mourn may be sanctified and have eternal life?

45 Y aconteció que Enoc miró; y desde Noé vio a todas las familias de la tierra; y clamó al Señor, diciendo: ¿Cuándo vendrá el día del Señor? ¿Cuándo será derramada la sangre del Justo, a fin de que todos los que lloran sean santificados y tengan vida eterna?

46 And the Lord said: It shall be in the meridian of time, in the days of wickedness and vengeance.

46 Y el Señor dijo: Será en el meridiano de los tiempos, en los días de iniquidad y venganza.

47 And behold, Enoch saw the day of the coming of the Son of Man, even in the flesh; and his soul rejoiced, saying: The Righteous is lifted up, and the Lamb is slain from the foundation of the world; and through faith I am in the bosom of the Father, and behold, Zion is with me.

47 Y he aquí, Enoc vio el día de la venida del Hijo del Hombre en la carne; y se regocijó su alma, y dijo: El Justo es levantado, y muerto es el Cordero desde la fundación del mundo; y por medio de la fe estoy en el seno del Padre, y he aquí, Sion está conmigo.

48 And it came to pass that Enoch looked upon the earth; and he heard a voice from the bowels thereof, saying: Wo, wo is me, the mother of men; I am pained, I am weary, because of the wickedness of my children. When shall I rest, and be cleansed from the filthiness which is gone forth out of me? When will my Creator sanctify me, that I may rest, and righteousness for a season abide upon my face?

48 Y sucedió que Enoc miró a la tierra; y oyó que venía una voz de sus entrañas, y decía: ¡Ay, ay de mí, la madre de los hombres! ¡Estoy afligida, estoy fatigada por causa de la iniquidad de mis hijos! ¿Cuándo descansaré y quedaré limpia de la impureza que de mí ha salido? ¿Cuándo me santificará mi Creador para que yo descanse, y more la justicia sobre mi faz por un tiempo?

49 And when Enoch heard the earth mourn, he wept, and cried unto the Lord, saying: O Lord, wilt thou not have compassion upon the earth? Wilt thou not bless the children of Noah?

49 Y cuando Enoc oyó que la tierra se lamentaba, lloró y clamó al Señor, diciendo: Oh Señor, ¿no tendrás compasión de la tierra? ¿No bendecirás a los hijos de Noé?

50 And it came to pass that Enoch continued his cry unto the Lord, saying: I ask thee, O Lord, in the name of thine Only Begotten, even Jesus Christ, that thou wilt have mercy upon Noah and his seed, that the earth might never more be covered by the floods.

50 Y sucedió que Enoc continuó su clamor al Señor, diciendo: Te ruego, oh Señor, en el nombre de tu Unigénito, que es Jesucristo, que tengas misericordia de Noé y su descendencia, para que las aguas nunca más vuelvan a cubrir la tierra.

51 And the Lord could not withhold; and he covenanted with Enoch, and sware unto him with an oath, that he would stay the floods; that he would call upon the children of Noah;

51 Y el Señor no pudo resistir; e hizo convenio con Enoc, y le juró con juramento que detendría las aguas; que visitaría a los hijos de Noé;

52 And he sent forth an unalterable decree, that a remnant of his seed should always be found among all nations, while the earth should stand;

52 y expidió un decreto inalterable de que un resto de su descendencia siempre se hallaría entre todas las naciones, mientras permaneciese la tierra;

53 And the Lord said: Blessed is he through whose seed Messiah shall come; for he saith—I am Messiah, the King of Zion, the Rock of Heaven, which is broad as eternity; whoso cometh in at the gate and climbeth up by me shall never fall; wherefore, blessed are they of whom I have spoken, for they shall come forth with songs of everlasting joy.

53 y el Señor dijo: Bendito es aquel por medio de cuya descendencia vendrá el Mesías; porque él dice: Yo soy el Mesías, el Rey de Sion, la Roca del Cielo, que es extensa como la eternidad; quien entre por la puerta y suba por medio de mí, jamás caerá; por tanto, benditos son aquellos de quienes he hablado, porque vendrán con canciones de gozo sempiterno.

54 And it came to pass that Enoch cried unto the Lord, saying: When the Son of Man cometh in the flesh, shall the earth rest? I pray thee, show me these things.

54 Y sucedió que Enoc clamó al Señor, diciendo: ¿Descansará la tierra cuando el Hijo del Hombre venga en la carne? Te ruego me muestres estas cosas.

55 And the Lord said unto Enoch: Look, and he looked and beheld the Son of Man lifted up on the cross, after the manner of men;

55 Y dijo el Señor a Enoc: Mira; y mirando, vio que el Hijo del Hombre era levantado sobre la cruz, a la manera de los hombres;

56 And he heard a loud voice; and the heavens were veiled; and all the creations of God mourned; and the earth groaned; and the rocks were rent; and the saints arose, and were crowned at the right hand of the Son of Man, with crowns of glory;

56 y oyó una fuerte voz; y fueron cubiertos los cielos; y todas las creaciones de Dios lloraron; y la tierra gimió; y se hicieron pedazos los peñascos; y se levantaron los santos y fueron coronados a la diestra del Hijo del Hombre con coronas de gloria;

57 And as many of the spirits as were in prison came forth, and stood on the right hand of God; and the remainder were reserved in chains of darkness until the judgment of the great day.

57 y salieron cuantos espíritus se hallaban en la prisión, y se pusieron a la diestra de Dios; y el resto quedó en cadenas de tinieblas hasta el juicio del gran día.

58 And again Enoch wept and cried unto the Lord, saying: When shall the earth rest?

58 Y Enoc lloró otra vez y clamó al Señor, diciendo: ¿Cuándo descansará la tierra?

59 And Enoch beheld the Son of Man ascend up unto the Father; and he called unto the Lord, saying: Wilt thou not come again upon the earth? Forasmuch as thou art God, and I know thee, and thou hast sworn unto me, and commanded me that I should ask in the name of thine Only Begotten; thou hast made me, and given unto me a right to thy throne, and not of myself, but through thine own grace; wherefore, I ask thee if thou wilt not come again on the earth.

59 Y Enoc vio al Hijo del Hombre ascender al Padre, y se dirigió al Señor, diciendo: ¿No vendrás otra vez a la tierra? Por cuanto eres Dios, y te conozco, y me has jurado, y me mandaste que pidiera en el nombre de tu Unigénito; tú me has creado y me has dado derecho a tu trono, y no de mí mismo, sino mediante tu propia gracia; por consiguiente, te pregunto si no volverás otra vez a la tierra.

60 And the Lord said unto Enoch: As I live, even so will I come in the last days, in the days of wickedness and vengeance, to fulfil the oath which I have made unto you concerning the children of Noah;

60 Y el Señor dijo a Enoc: Vivo yo que vendré en los últimos días, en los días de iniquidad y venganza, para cumplir el juramento que te hice concerniente a los hijos de Noé;

61 And the day shall come that the earth shall rest, but before that day the heavens shall be darkened, and a veil of darkness shall cover the earth; and the heavens shall shake, and also the earth; and great tribulations shall be among the children of men, but my people will I preserve;

61 y llegará el día en que descansará la tierra, pero antes de ese día se obscurecerán los cielos, y un manto de tinieblas cubrirá la tierra; y temblarán los cielos así como la tierra; y habrá grandes tribulaciones entre los hijos de los hombres, mas preservaré a mi pueblo;

62 And righteousness will I send down out of heaven; and truth will I send forth out of the earth, to bear testimony of mine Only Begotten; his resurrection from the dead; yea, and also the resurrection of all men; and righteousness and truth will I cause to sweep the earth as with a flood, to gather out mine elect from the four quarters of the earth, unto a place which I shall prepare, an Holy City, that my people may gird up their loins, and be looking forth for the time of my coming; for there shall be my tabernacle, and it shall be called Zion, a New Jerusalem.

62 y justicia enviaré desde los cielos; y la verdad haré brotar de la tierra para testificar de mi Unigénito, de su resurrección de entre los muertos, sí, y también de la resurrección de todos los hombres; y haré que la justicia y la verdad inunden la tierra como con un diluvio, a fin de recoger a mis escogidos de las cuatro partes de la tierra a un lugar que yo prepararé, una Ciudad Santa, a fin de que mi pueblo ciña sus lomos y espere el tiempo de mi venida; porque allí estará mi tabernáculo, y se llamará Sion, una Nueva Jerusalén.

63 And the Lord said unto Enoch: Then shalt thou and all thy city meet them there, and we will receive them into our bosom, and they shall see us; and we will fall upon their necks, and they shall fall upon our necks, and we will kiss each other;

63 Y el Señor dijo a Enoc: Entonces tú y toda tu ciudad los recibiréis allí, y los recibiremos en nuestro seno, y ellos nos verán; y nos echaremos sobre su cuello, y ellos sobre el nuestro, y nos besaremos unos a otros;

64 And there shall be mine abode, and it shall be Zion, which shall come forth out of all the creations which I have made; and for the space of a thousand years the earth shall rest.

64 y allí será mi morada, y será Sion, la cual saldrá de todas las creaciones que he hecho; y por el espacio de mil años la tierra descansará.

65 And it came to pass that Enoch saw the day of the coming of the Son of Man, in the last days, to dwell on the earth in righteousness for the space of a thousand years;

65 Y aconteció que Enoc vio el día de la venida del Hijo del Hombre, en los últimos días, para morar en rectitud sobre la tierra por el espacio de mil años;

66 But before that day he saw great tribulations among the wicked; and he also saw the sea, that it was troubled, and men's hearts failing them, looking forth with fear for the judgments of the Almighty God, which should come upon the wicked.

66 pero antes de ese día vio grandes tribulaciones entre los inicuos; y también vio que el mar se agitaba y que desfallecía el corazón de los hombres mientras esperaban con temor los juicios del Dios Todopoderoso que habrían de sobrevenir a los inicuos.

67 And the Lord showed Enoch all things, even unto the end of the world; and he saw the day of the righteous, the hour of their redemption, and received a fulness of joy;

67 Y el Señor le mostró a Enoc todas las cosas, aun hasta el fin del mundo; y vio el día de los justos, la hora de su redención; y recibió una plenitud de gozo;

68 And all the days of Zion, in the days of Enoch, were three hundred and sixty-five years.

68 y fueron todos los días de Sion, en la época de Enoc, trescientos sesenta y cinco años.

69 And Enoch and all his people walked with God, and he dwelt in the midst of Zion; and it came to pass that Zion was not, for God received it up into his own bosom; and from thence went forth the saying, ZION IS FLED.

69 Y Enoc y todo su pueblo anduvieron con Dios, y él moró en medio de Sion; y aconteció que Sion no fue más, porque Dios la llevó a su propio seno, y desde entonces se extendió el dicho: SION HA HUIDO.
