1 I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.

1 Alcé después mis ojos y miré, y he aquí un varón que tenía en su mano un cordel de medir.

2 Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.

2 Y le dije: ¿A dónde vas? Y él me respondió: A medir a Jerusalén para ver cuál es su anchura y cuál su longitud.

3 And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him,

3 Y he aquí, aquel ángel que hablaba conmigo salía, y otro ángel le salió al encuentro

4 And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:

4 y le dijo: Corre, habla a este joven, diciendo: Sin muros será habitada Jerusalén a causa de la multitud de hombres y de ganados en medio de ella.

5 For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

5 Yo seré para ella, dice Jehová, muro de fuego a su alrededor, y gloria seré en medio de ella.

6 Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD.

6 ¡Ea, ea!, huid de la tierra del norte, dice Jehová, pues por los cuatro vientos de los cielos os esparcí, dice Jehová.

7 Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.

7 ¡Oh Sion, la que moras con la hija de Babilonia, escápate!

8 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

8 Porque así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Tras la gloria me ha enviado él a las naciones que os despojaron, porque el que os toca, toca la niña de su ojo.

9 For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me.

9 Porque he aquí, yo alzo mi mano contra ellas, y serán despojo para los que los han servido, y sabréis que Jehová de los ejércitos me ha enviado.

10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD.

10 ¡Canta y regocíjate, oh hija de Sion porque, he aquí, vengo y moraré en medio de ti!, ha dicho Jehová.

11 And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.

11 Y se unirán muchas naciones a Jehová en aquel día y serán mi pueblo, y moraré en medio de ti; y entonces sabrás que Jehová de los ejércitos me ha enviado a ti.

12 And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.

12 Y Jehová tomará posesión de Judá, su porción en la tierra santa, y escogerá de nuevo a Jerusalén.

13 Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.

13 ¡Calle toda carne delante de Jehová, porque él se ha levantado de su santa morada!
