1 In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.

1 En aquel día habrá un manantial abierto para la casa de David y para los moradores de Jerusalén, para la purificación del pecado y de la impureza.

2 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.

2 Y sucederá en aquel día, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, que quitaré de la tierra los nombres de las imágenes, y nunca más vendrán a la memoria; y también haré quitar de la tierra a los profetas, y al espíritu de impureza.

3 And it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the LORD: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.

3 Y acontecerá que si alguno aún profetiza, su padre y su madre que lo engendraron le dirán: No vivirás, porque has hablado mentira en el nombre de Jehová; y su padre y su madre que lo engendraron le traspasarán cuando profetice.

4 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he hath prophesied; neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive:

4 Y sucederá en aquel día que todos los profetas se avergonzarán de su visión cuando profeticen; nunca más se vestirán con manto velloso para engañar.

5 But he shall say, I am no prophet, I am an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.

5 Y dirá: No soy profeta; labrador soy de la tierra, porque esto aprendí desde mi juventud.

6 And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.

6 Y le preguntarán: ¿Qué heridas son estas en tus manos? Y él responderá: Son aquellas con las que fui herido en casa de mis amigos.

7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

7 ¡Levántate, oh espada, contra el pastor y contra el hombre compañero mío!, dice Jehová de los ejércitos. Hiere al pastor, y serán dispersadas las ovejas; y volveré mi mano contra los pequeñitos.

8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.

8 Y acontecerá en toda la tierra, dice Jehová, que las dos terceras partes serán taladas en ella y perecerán, pero una tercera parte quedará en ella.

9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

9 Y meteré en el fuego a la tercera parte, y los refinaré como se refina la plata y los probaré como se prueba el oro. Ellos invocarán mi nombre, y yo les responderé y les diré: Pueblo mío; y él dirá: Jehová es mi Dios.
