1 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:

1 Bueno es dar gracias a Jehová, y cantar alabanzas a tu nombre, oh Altísimo;

2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,

2 anunciar por la mañana tu misericordia, y tu fidelidad por las noches,

3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.

3 con el decacordio y con el salterio, en tono suave con el arpa.

4 For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

4 Por cuanto me has alegrado, oh Jehová, con tus obras; por las obras de tus manos cantaré de gozo.

5 O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.

5 ¡Cuán grandes son tus obras, oh Jehová! ¡Cuán profundos son tus pensamientos!

6 A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.

6 El hombre necio no sabe, y el insensato no entiende esto.

7 When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:

7 Los malvados brotan como la hierba, y los que hacen iniquidad florecen todos para ser destruidos para siempre.

8 But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.

8 Mas tú, oh Jehová, para siempre eres el Altísimo.

9 For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

9 Porque he aquí tus enemigos, oh Jehová, porque he aquí, tus enemigos perecerán; serán dispersados todos los que hacen iniquidad.

10 But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

10 Pero tú acrecentarás mi poderío como el de un toro salvaje; seré ungido con aceite fresco.

11 Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.

11 Y mirarán mis ojos sobre mis enemigos; oirán mis oídos de los malignos que se levantan contra mí.

12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

12 El justo florecerá como la palmera; crecerá como el cedro en el Líbano.

13 Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

13 Plantados en la casa de Jehová, florecerán en los atrios de nuestro Dios.

14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

14 Aun en la vejez fructificarán; estarán vigorosos y frondosos,

15 To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

15 para anunciar que Jehová, mi roca, es recto, y que en él no hay injusticia.
