1 How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!

1 ¡Cuán amables son tus moradas, oh Jehová de los ejércitos!

2 My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

2 Mi alma anhela los atrios de Jehová y aun desfallece por ellos; mi corazón y mi carne cantan con gozo al Dios vivo.

3 Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.

3 Aun el gorrión halla casa, y la golondrina nido para sí, donde ponga sus polluelos, cerca de tus altares, oh Jehová de los ejércitos, Rey mío y Dios mío.

4 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.

4 Bienaventurados los que habitan en tu casa; continuamente te alabarán. Selah

5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.

5 Bienaventurado el hombre cuya fortaleza está en ti, en cuyo corazón están tus caminos.

6 Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

6 Atraviesan el valle de Baca y lo convierten en fuente; también la lluvia temprana lo llena de bendiciones.

7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

7 Irán de poder en poder; se presentarán ante Dios en Sion.

8 O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.

8 Oh Jehová Dios de los ejércitos, oye mi oración; da oídos, oh Dios de Jacob. Selah

9 Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.

9 Mira, oh Dios, escudo nuestro, y pon los ojos en el rostro de tu ungido.

10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

10 Porque mejor es un día en tus atrios que mil fuera de ellos. Escogería antes estar a la puerta de la casa de mi Dios que habitar en las moradas de la maldad.

11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

11 Porque sol y escudo es Jehová Dios; gracia y gloria dará Jehová. No quitará el bien a los que en integridad andan.

12 O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

12 Oh Jehová de los ejércitos, bienaventurado el hombre que en ti confía.
