1 Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?

1 Oh vosotros, ¿pronunciáis en verdad justicia? ¿Juzgáis rectamente, hijos de los hombres?

2 Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.

2 Antes bien, en el corazón cometéis injusticias; hacéis que la violencia de vuestras manos pese en la tierra.

3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.

3 Se alejaron los impíos desde la matriz; se descarriaron desde el vientre, hablando mentira.

4 Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear;

4 Veneno tienen, como veneno de serpiente; son como la víbora sorda que cierra su oído,

5 Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.

5 que no oye la voz de los encantadores, por más hábil que el encantador sea.

6 Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O LORD.

6 Oh Dios, quiebra sus dientes en sus bocas; quiebra, oh Jehová, los colmillos de los leoncillos.

7 Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.

7 Sean disipados como aguas que corren; cuando disparen sus saetas, sean hechas pedazos.

8 As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun.

8 Pasen ellos como el caracol que se deshace; como el que nace muerto, no vean el sol.

9 Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath.

9 Antes que vuestras ollas sientan la llama de los espinos, así vivos, así airados, los barrerá él con tempestad.

10 The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.

10 Se alegrará el justo cuando vea la venganza; sus pies lavará en la sangre del impío.

11 So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.

11 Entonces dirá el hombre: Ciertamente hay fruto para el justo; ciertamente hay Dios que juzga en la tierra.
