1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

1 Ha dicho el necio en su corazón: No hay Dios. Se han corrompido y han hecho abominable maldad; no hay quien haga el bien.

2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.

2 Dios, desde los cielos, miró sobre los hijos de los hombres, para ver si había algún entendido que buscara a Dios.

3 Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

3 Todos se han vuelto atrás; todos se han corrompido; no hay quien haga el bien, no hay ni siquiera uno.

4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.

4 ¿No tienen conocimiento todos esos que hacen iniquidad, que devoran a mi pueblo como si comiesen pan, y a Dios no invocan?

5 There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.

5 Allí se sobresaltaron de pavor donde no había miedo, porque Dios ha esparcido los huesos del que acampó contra ti; los avergonzaste, porque Dios los ha rechazado.

6 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

6 ¡Quién diese que saliera de Sion la salvación de Israel! Cuando Dios haga volver de la cautividad a su pueblo, se regocijará Jacob y se alegrará Israel.
