1 O LORD, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

1 Oh Jehová, no me reprendas en tu furor ni me castigues en tu ira.

2 For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand presseth me sore.

2 Porque tus saetas han penetrado en mí, y sobre mí ha caído tu mano.

3 There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.

3 Nada hay sano en mi carne a causa de tu indignación, ni hay paz en mis huesos a causa de mi pecado.

4 For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.

4 Porque mis iniquidades han sobrepasado mi cabeza; como carga pesada me abruman.

5 My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness.

5 Hieden y supuran mis llagas a causa de mi locura.

6 I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.

6 Estoy encorvado, estoy abatido en gran manera, estoy de duelo todo el día.

7 For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh.

7 Porque mis lomos están llenos de una enfermedad irritable, y nada hay sano en mi carne.

8 I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart.

8 Estoy debilitado y molido en gran manera; gimo a causa de la conmoción de mi corazón.

9 Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.

9 Señor, delante de ti están todos mis deseos, y mi suspiro no te es oculto.

10 My heart panteth, my strength faileth me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.

10 Mi corazón palpita fuertemente; las fuerzas me abandonan, y aun la misma luz de mis ojos ya no está conmigo.

11 My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my sore; and my kinsmen stand afar off.

11 Mis seres queridos y mis compañeros se mantienen lejos de mi plaga, y mis parientes se han alejado.

12 They also that seek after my life lay snares for me: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.

12 Y los que buscan mi vida me tienden trampas; y los que procuran mi mal hablan iniquidades y traman engaños todo el día.

13 But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.

13 Mas yo, como el sordo, no oigo; y soy como el mudo que no abre la boca.

14 Thus I was as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.

14 Soy, pues, como el hombre que no oye, y en cuya boca no hay reprensiones.

15 For in thee, O LORD, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.

15 Porque en ti, oh Jehová, espero; tú responderás, Jehová, Dios mío.

16 For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.

16 Porque dije: No sea que se alegren de mí, y que, cuando mi pie resbale, se engrandezcan sobre mí.

17 For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me.

17 Porque yo estoy a punto de caer, y mi dolor está delante de mí continuamente.

18 For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.

18 Por tanto, declararé mi iniquidad; me acongojaré por mi pecado.

19 But mine enemies are lively, and they are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.

19 Porque mis enemigos son vigorosos y fuertes, y se han aumentado los que me aborrecen sin causa.

20 They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is.

20 Los que pagan mal por bien me son contrarios, por seguir yo lo bueno.

21 Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me.

21 No me desampares, oh Jehová; Dios mío, no te alejes de mí.

22 Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.

22 Apresúrate a ayudarme, oh Señor, salvación mía.
