1 I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.

1 Te glorificaré, oh Jehová, porque me has exaltado, y no has dejado a mis enemigos alegrarse de mí.

2 O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

2 Oh Jehová, Dios mío, a ti clamé, y me sanaste.

3 O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

3 Oh Jehová, hiciste subir mi alma del Seol; me diste vida para que no descendiese a la fosa.

4 Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

4 Cantad a Jehová, vosotros sus santos, y dad gracias por la memoria de su santidad.

5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

5 Porque por un momento será su furor; mas en su favor está la vida. Por la noche durará el llanto, y a la mañana vendrá la alegría.

6 And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.

6 Y dije yo en mi prosperidad: No seré jamás movido.

7 LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.

7 Tú, oh Jehová, con tu favor has afirmado mi monte con poder. Escondiste tu rostro; fui conturbado.

8 I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication.

8 A ti, oh Jehová, clamaré; y al Señor suplicaré.

9 What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?

9 ¿Qué provecho hay en mi muerte cuando yo descienda a la sepultura? ¿Te alabará el polvo? ¿Anunciará tu verdad?

10 Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.

10 Oye, oh Jehová, y ten misericordia de mí; Jehová, sé tú mi ayudador.

11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

11 Has cambiado mi lamento en baile; desataste mi cilicio y me ceñiste de alegría,

12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

12 para que a ti cante gloria y no esté callado. Oh Jehová, Dios mío, te alabaré para siempre.
