1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

1 Los cielos cuentan la gloria de Dios, y el firmamento proclama la obra de sus manos.

2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

2 Día a día emite palabra a otro día, y noche a noche declara sabiduría.

3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

3 No hay lenguaje ni palabras, ni es oída su voz.

4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

4 Por toda la tierra salió su voz, y hasta el extremo del mundo sus palabras. En ellos puso tabernáculo para el sol;

5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.

5 y este, como esposo que sale de su alcoba, se regocija cual hombre fuerte al correr su carrera.

6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

6 De un extremo de los cielos es su salida, y su curso hasta el término de ellos. Nada hay que se esconda de su calor.

7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

7 La ley de Jehová es perfecta: convierte el alma; el testimonio de Jehová es fiel: hace sabio al sencillo.

8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

8 Los preceptos de Jehová son rectos: alegran el corazón. El mandamiento de Jehová es puro: alumbra los ojos.

9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.

9 El temor de Jehová es limpio: permanece para siempre; los decretos de Jehová son verdaderos: todos justos.

10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

10 Deseables son más que el oro, sí, más que mucho oro refinado; y dulces más que la miel, y que el destilar del panal.

11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

11 Tu siervo es, además, amonestado por ellos; en guardarlos hay gran galardón.

12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.

12 ¿Quién puede discernir sus propios errores? Líbrame de los que me son ocultos.

13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

13 Guarda, asimismo, a tu siervo de los pecados de soberbia, que no se enseñoreen de mí. Entonces seré íntegro y estaré libre de gran transgresión.

14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

14 Sean las palabras de mi boca y la meditación de mi corazón gratas delante de ti, oh Jehová, roca mía y redentor mío.
