1 I will love thee, O LORD, my strength.

1 Te amo, oh Jehová, fortaleza mía.

2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

2 Jehová, roca mía y baluarte mío, y mi libertador; Dios mío, fortaleza mía, en quien me refugio; escudo mío y el poder de mi salvación, mi alto refugio.

3 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

3 Invocaré a Jehová, quien es digno de ser alabado, y seré salvo de mis enemigos.

4 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.

4 Los lazos de la muerte me envolvieron, y los torrentes de la iniquidad me atemorizaron.

5 The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me.

5 Las ligaduras del Seol me rodearon; los lazos de la muerte me confrontaron.

6 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

6 En mi angustia invoqué a Jehová, y clamé a mi Dios. Él oyó mi voz desde su templo, y mi clamor llegó delante de él, a sus oídos.

7 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth.

7 Y la tierra fue conmovida y tembló; y se conmovieron los cimientos de los montes, y se estremecieron, porque se indignó él.

8 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.

8 Humo subió de su nariz y de su boca fuego consumidor; carbones fueron por él encendidos.

9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet.

9 E inclinó los cielos y descendió, y había densas tinieblas debajo de sus pies.

10 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.

10 Y cabalgó sobre un querubín, y voló; voló sobre las alas del viento.

11 He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.

11 De las tinieblas hizo su escondite, su pabellón alrededor de sí; oscuridad de aguas, densas nubes de los cielos.

12 At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire.

12 Por el resplandor de su presencia, sus densas nubes pasaron; granizo y carbones ardientes.

13 The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.

13 Jehová tronó en los cielos, y el Altísimo dio su voz; granizo y carbones de fuego.

14 Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them.

14 Y envió sus saetas y los dispersó; y lanzó relámpagos y los confundió.

15 Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.

15 Entonces aparecieron los abismos de las aguas, y quedaron al descubierto los cimientos del mundo, a tu reprensión, oh Jehová, al soplo del aliento de tu nariz.

16 He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.

16 Envió desde lo alto y me tomó; me sacó de las caudalosas aguas.

17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.

17 Me libró de mi poderoso enemigo y de los que me aborrecían, pues eran más fuertes que yo.

18 They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.

18 Me asaltaron en el día de mi calamidad, mas Jehová fue mi apoyo.

19 He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.

19 Y me sacó a un lugar espacioso; me libró, porque se agradó de mí.

20 The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.

20 Me ha premiado Jehová conforme a mi justicia; conforme a la limpieza de mis manos me ha recompensado.

21 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.

21 Porque yo he guardado los caminos de Jehová, y no me aparté impíamente de mi Dios.

22 For all his judgments were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me.

22 Pues todos sus decretos estaban delante de mí, y no me he apartado de sus estatutos.

23 I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity.

23 Y fui íntegro para con él, y me he guardado de mi iniquidad.

24 Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.

24 Por tanto, Jehová me ha recompensado conforme a mi justicia, conforme a la limpieza de mis manos delante de sus ojos.

25 With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright;

25 Con el misericordioso te mostrarás misericordioso, y con el hombre íntegro te mostrarás íntegro.

26 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward.

26 Limpio serás para con el limpio y sagaz serás para con el perverso.

27 For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks.

27 Porque tú salvarás al pueblo afligido, y humillarás los ojos altivos.

28 For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.

28 Tú, pues, encenderás mi lámpara; Jehová, mi Dios, alumbrará mis tinieblas.

29 For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.

29 Porque contigo desbarataré ejércitos, y con mi Dios saltaré murallas.

30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

30 En cuanto a Dios, perfecto es su camino; acrisolada es la palabra de Jehová; escudo es a todos los que en él buscan refugio.

31 For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God?

31 Porque, ¿quién es Dios sino solo Jehová? ¿Y quién es roca sino solo nuestro Dios?

32 It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.

32 Dios es el que me ciñe de fuerzas, y hace perfecto mi camino.

33 He maketh my feet like hinds' feet, and setteth me upon my high places.

33 Él hace mis pies como pies de ciervas, y me hace estar firme en mis alturas.

34 He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.

34 Él adiestra mis manos para la batalla, y para tensar con mis brazos el arco de bronce.

35 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.

35 Y me diste el escudo de tu salvación; tu diestra me sustentó, y tu benignidad me ha engrandecido.

36 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.

36 Ensanchaste mis pasos debajo de mí, y no han resbalado mis pies.

37 I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.

37 Perseguí a mis enemigos y los alcancé; y no volví hasta acabarlos.

38 I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.

38 Los herí, y no pudieron levantarse; cayeron debajo de mis pies.

39 For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.

39 Pues me ceñiste de fuerzas para la batalla; has humillado debajo de mí a los que contra mí se levantaron.

40 Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.

40 Y me diste la cerviz de mis enemigos, para que yo destruyese a los que me aborrecían.

41 They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.

41 Clamaron, y no hubo quien los salvase; aun a Jehová, mas no les respondió.

42 Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets.

42 Y los molí como polvo delante del viento; los arrojé fuera como lodo de las calles.

43 Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.

43 Me has librado de las contiendas del pueblo; me has puesto por cabeza de naciones; pueblo que yo no conocía me sirve.

44 As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.

44 Así que al oírme, me obedecen; los hijos de extranjeros me rinden obediencia.

45 The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.

45 Los hijos de extranjeros desfallecen y salen temblando de sus refugios.

46 The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.

46 ¡Viva Jehová y bendita sea mi roca!; y exaltado sea el Dios de mi salvación,

47 It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me.

47 el Dios que por mí hace venganza y sujeta pueblos debajo de mí,

48 He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.

48 que me libra de mis enemigos. También tú me enalteces sobre los que se levantan contra mí; me libras del hombre violento.

49 Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.

49 Por eso yo te alabaré entre las naciones, oh Jehová, y cantaré a tu nombre.

50 Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.

50 Él da gran salvación a su rey y hace misericordia a su ungido, a David y a su descendencia, para siempre.
