1 Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.

1 Oye, oh Jehová, una causa justa; atiende a mi clamor; escucha mi oración hecha de labios sin engaño.

2 Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal.

2 De tu presencia salga mi juicio; vean tus ojos la rectitud.

3 Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.

3 Tú has probado mi corazón, me has visitado de noche, me has puesto a prueba y nada hallaste; he resuelto que mi boca no cometa transgresión.

4 Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.

4 En cuanto a las obras del hombre, por la palabra de tus labios yo me he guardado de las sendas de los violentos.

5 Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.

5 Sustenta mis pasos en tus caminos, para que mis pies no resbalen.

6 I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.

6 Yo te he invocado, por cuanto tú me oirás, oh Dios; inclina a mí tu oído; escucha mi palabra.

7 Shew thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them.

7 Muestra tus maravillosas misericordias, tú que salvas a los que se refugian a tu diestra, de los que se levantan contra ellos.

8 Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,

8 Guárdame como a la niña de tus ojos; escóndeme bajo la sombra de tus alas,

9 From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.

9 de delante de los malos que me oprimen, de mis enemigos mortales que me rodean.

10 They are inclosed in their own fat: with their mouth they speak proudly.

10 Envueltos están en su grosura; con su boca hablan con arrogancia.

11 They have now compassed us in our steps: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth;

11 Han cercado ahora nuestros pasos; tienen puestos sus ojos para echarnos por tierra.

12 Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.

12 Son como león que desea despedazar su presa, y como leoncillo que, en los escondrijos, acecha.

13 Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:

13 Levántate, oh Jehová; sal a su encuentro. ¡Derríbalo! Libra mi alma de los malos con tu espada,

14 From men which are thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.

14 de los hombres con tu mano, oh Jehová, de los hombres del mundo, cuya porción la tienen en esta vida, y cuyo vientre llenas con tu tesoro escondido. Abundan en hijos y dejan lo que les sobra a sus pequeños.

15 As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.

15 En cuanto a mí, veré tu rostro en justicia; estaré satisfecho cuando despierte a tu semejanza.
