1 Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.

1 Alabad a JAH, porque es bueno cantar alabanzas a nuestro Dios, porque agradable y hermosa es la alabanza.

2 The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.

2 Jehová edifica a Jerusalén; a los desterrados de Israel recogerá.

3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

3 Él sana a los quebrantados de corazón y venda sus heridas.

4 He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.

4 Él cuenta el número de las estrellas; a todas ellas llama por sus nombres.

5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

5 Grande es el Señor nuestro y de mucho poder; su entendimiento es infinito.

6 The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.

6 Jehová sostiene a los mansos; humilla a los malvados hasta la tierra.

7 Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:

7 Cantad a Jehová con acción de gracias; cantad alabanzas con arpa a nuestro Dios.

8 Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.

8 Él es el que cubre los cielos de nubes, el que prepara la lluvia para la tierra, el que hace a los montes producir hierba.

9 He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.

9 Él da a la bestia su alimento y a los hijos de los cuervos que claman.

10 He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.

10 No se deleita en la fuerza del caballo ni se complace en la agilidad del hombre.

11 The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

11 Se complace Jehová en los que le temen y en los que esperan en su misericordia.

12 Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.

12 Alaba a Jehová, oh Jerusalén; alaba a tu Dios, oh Sion.

13 For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee.

13 Porque ha reforzado los cerrojos de tus puertas; ha bendecido a tus hijos dentro de ti.

14 He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat.

14 Él pone en tu territorio la paz; te hará saciar con lo mejor del trigo.

15 He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly.

15 Él envía sus mandamientos a la tierra; velozmente corre su palabra.

16 He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.

16 Él da la nieve como lana; esparce la escarcha como ceniza.

17 He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?

17 Él echa su hielo como migajas; ante su frío, ¿quién se sostendrá en pie?

18 He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.

18 Envía su palabra y los derrite; hace soplar su viento y fluyen las aguas.

19 He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.

19 Él declara sus palabras a Jacob, sus estatutos y sus juicios a Israel.

20 He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.

20 No ha hecho esto con ninguna otra nación, y no han conocido sus juicios. ¡Aleluya!
