1 LORD, I cry unto thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.

1 Jehová, a ti he clamado; apresúrate a mí; da oídos a mi voz cuando te invoco.

2 Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

2 Sea puesta mi oración delante de ti como el incienso, el alzar de mis manos como la ofrenda de la tarde.

3 Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

3 Pon guarda a mi boca, oh Jehová; guarda la puerta de mis labios.

4 Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.

4 No dejes que se incline mi corazón a cosa mala, a hacer obras malas con los que obran iniquidad; y no coma yo de sus manjares.

5 Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.

5 Que el justo me castigue, será un favor, y que me reprenda, será un excelente bálsamo que no rechazará mi cabeza, porque aún mi oración será contra sus maldades.

6 When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.

6 Cuando sean arrojados sus jueces en lugares peñascosos, oirán mis palabras, que son agradables.

7 Our bones are scattered at the grave's mouth, as when one cutteth and cleaveth wood upon the earth.

7 Como quien ara y rompe la tierra, son esparcidos nuestros huesos a la boca del Seol.

8 But mine eyes are unto thee, O GOD the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.

8 Por tanto, oh Jehová, Señor, a ti miran mis ojos; en ti he confiado; no desampares mi alma.

9 Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.

9 Guárdame de las trampas que me han tendido, y de los señuelos de los que hacen iniquidad.

10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape.

10 Caigan los malvados a una en sus redes, mientras yo paso adelante.
