1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise him, O ye servants of the LORD.

1 ¡Aleluya! Alabad el nombre de Jehová; alabadle, siervos de Jehová,

2 Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God,

2 los que estáis en la casa de Jehová, en los atrios de la casa de nuestro Dios.

3 Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.

3 Alabad a JAH, porque Jehová es bueno; cantad alabanzas a su nombre, porque es agradable.

4 For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.

4 Porque JAH ha escogido a Jacob para sí, y a Israel como su tesoro singular.

5 For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.

5 Porque yo sé que Jehová es grande, y el Señor nuestro, mayor que todos los dioses.

6 Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.

6 Todo lo que ha querido Jehová, lo ha hecho, en los cielos y en la tierra, en los mares y en todos los abismos.

7 He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.

7 Él hace subir las nubes de los extremos de la tierra; él hace los relámpagos para la lluvia; él saca de sus depósitos los vientos.

8 Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.

8 Él es quien hizo morir a los primogénitos de Egipto, desde el hombre hasta la bestia.

9 Who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.

9 Envió señales y prodigios en medio de ti, oh Egipto, sobre Faraón y sobre todos sus siervos.

10 Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;

10 Destruyó a muchas naciones y mató a reyes poderosos:

11 Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:

11 a Sehón, rey amorreo, y a Og, rey de Basán, y a todos los reinos de Canaán.

12 And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.

12 Y dio la tierra de ellos en heredad, en heredad a Israel, su pueblo.

13 Thy name, O LORD, endureth for ever; and thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.

13 Oh Jehová, eterno es tu nombre; tu memoria, oh Jehová, de generación en generación.

14 For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.

14 Porque juzgará Jehová a su pueblo y se compadecerá de sus siervos.

15 The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

15 Los ídolos de las naciones son de plata y de oro, obra de manos de hombres.

16 They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;

16 Tienen boca, y no hablan; tienen ojos, y no ven;

17 They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.

17 tienen oídos, y no oyen; tampoco hay aliento en sus bocas.

18 They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.

18 Semejantes a ellos son los que los hacen, y todos los que en ellos confían.

19 Bless the LORD, O house of Israel: bless the LORD, O house of Aaron:

19 Casa de Israel, ¡bendecid a Jehová! Casa de Aarón, ¡bendecid a Jehová!

20 Bless the LORD, O house of Levi: ye that fear the LORD, bless the LORD.

20 Casa de Leví, ¡bendecid a Jehová! Los que teméis a Jehová, ¡bendecid a Jehová!

21 Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.

21 Desde Sion sea bendecido Jehová, que mora en Jerusalén. ¡Aleluya!
