1 Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

1 ¡Aleluya! Bienaventurado el hombre que teme a Jehová, que en sus mandamientos se deleita en gran manera.

2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

2 Su descendencia será poderosa en la tierra; la generación de los rectos será bendita.

3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

3 Bienes y riquezas habrá en su casa, y su justicia permanece para siempre.

4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

4 Resplandeció en las tinieblas luz para los rectos; es clemente, y misericordioso y justo.

5 A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

5 El hombre bueno muestra misericordia y presta; gobierna sus cosas con juicio.

6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

6 Por lo cual no resbalará jamás; en memoria eterna se tendrá al justo.

7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

7 De malas nuevas no tendrá temor; su corazón está firme, confiado en Jehová.

8 His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

8 Afirmado está su corazón; no temerá, hasta que vea en sus enemigos su deseo.

9 He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

9 Ha repartido, ha dado a los pobres; su justicia permanece para siempre; su poderío será enaltecido en gloria.

10 The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

10 Lo verá el malvado y se irritará; rechinará los dientes y se consumirá; perecerá el deseo de los malvados.
