1 Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.

1 Bendice, alma mía, a Jehová. Jehová, Dios mío, ¡qué grande eres tú! Te has vestido de gloria y de majestad.

2 Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:

2 Tú eres el que se cubre de luz como de vestidura, que extiende los cielos como una cortina,

3 Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:

3 el que pone las vigas de sus altos aposentos en las aguas, el que hace de las nubes su carroza, el que anda sobre las alas del viento,

4 Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

4 el que hace a sus ángeles espíritus y a las llamas de fuego sus ministros.

5 Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.

5 Él fundó la tierra sobre sus cimientos; no será jamás removida.

6 Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.

6 Con el abismo, como con vestido, la cubriste; sobre los montes estaban las aguas.

7 At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.

7 A tu reprensión huyeron; al sonido de tu trueno se apresuraron;

8 They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.

8 subieron los montes, descendieron los valles, al lugar que tú les fundaste.

9 Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.

9 Les pusiste límite, el cual no traspasarán, ni volverán a cubrir la tierra.

10 He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.

10 Tú eres el que envías los manantiales por los arroyos; van entre los montes.

11 They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.

11 Dan de beber a todas las bestias del campo; mitigan su sed los asnos monteses.

12 By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.

12 Junto a ellos habitan las aves de los cielos; cantan entre las ramas.

13 He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.

13 Él riega los montes desde sus aposentos; del fruto de sus obras se sacia la tierra.

14 He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;

14 Él hace crecer la hierba para las bestias, y las plantas para el servicio del hombre, para sacar el pan de la tierra,

15 And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.

15 y el vino que alegra el corazón del hombre, y el aceite que hace lucir el rostro, y el pan que sustenta el corazón del hombre.

16 The trees of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;

16 Se llenan de savia los árboles de Jehová, los cedros del Líbano que él plantó.

17 Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.

17 Allí anidan las aves; en los cipreses hace su casa la cigüeña.

18 The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.

18 Los montes altos son para las cabras monteses; las peñas, para madrigueras de los conejos.

19 He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.

19 Hizo la luna para los tiempos; el sol conoce su ocaso.

20 Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.

20 Pones las tinieblas, y es la noche; en ella corretean todas las bestias de la selva.

21 The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.

21 Los leoncillos rujen tras la presa, y buscan de Dios su comida.

22 The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.

22 Sale el sol, se recogen, y se echan en sus guaridas.

23 Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.

23 Sale el hombre a su labor, y a su labranza hasta la tarde.

24 O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

24 ¡Cuán numerosas son tus obras, oh Jehová! Las has hecho todas ellas con sabiduría; la tierra está llena de tus creaciones.

25 So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.

25 Este es el grande y ancho mar, en donde hay seres innumerables, seres pequeños y grandes.

26 There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.

26 Allí surcan las naves, y el leviatán que hiciste para que jugase en él.

27 These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.

27 Todos ellos esperan en ti, para que les des la comida a su tiempo.

28 That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.

28 Tú les das y ellos recogen; abres tu mano y se sacian de bien.

29 Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.

29 Escondes tu rostro, ellos se turban; les quitas el aliento, fenecen y vuelven a ser polvo.

30 Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.

30 Envías tu espíritu, son creados, y renuevas la faz de la tierra.

31 The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.

31 Sea la gloria de Jehová para siempre; regocíjese Jehová en sus obras.

32 He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.

32 Él mira la tierra, y ella tiembla; toca los montes, y humean.

33 I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.

33 A Jehová cantaré en mi vida; a mi Dios cantaré alabanzas mientras viva.

34 My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.

34 Sea mi meditación agradable a él; yo me regocijaré en Jehová.

35 Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.

35 Sean consumidos de la tierra los pecadores y los malvados dejen de ser. Bendice, alma mía, a Jehová. ¡Aleluya!
