1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

1 Y habló Jehová a Moisés y a Aarón, diciendo:

2 Take the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, after their families, by the house of their fathers,

2 Haced un censo de los hijos de Coat de entre los hijos de Leví, por sus familias, por sus casas paternas,

3 From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.

3 de edad de treinta años arriba hasta cincuenta años, todos los que entran para servir en el tabernáculo de reunión.

4 This shall be the service of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation, about the most holy things:

4 Este será el oficio de los hijos de Coat en el tabernáculo de reunión con respecto a los objetos más sagrados:

5 And when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering veil, and cover the ark of testimony with it:

5 Cuando haya que mudar el campamento, vendrán Aarón y sus hijos y desarmarán el velo de la tienda y cubrirán con él el arca del testimonio,

6 And shall put thereon the covering of badgers' skins, and shall spread over it a cloth wholly of blue, and shall put in the staves thereof.

6 y pondrán sobre ella la cubierta de pieles de tejón y extenderán encima un paño todo de azul y le pondrán sus varas.

7 And upon the table of shewbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover withal: and the continual bread shall be thereon:

7 Y sobre la mesa de la proposición extenderán un paño de azul, y pondrán sobre ella los platos, y las cucharas, y las copas y los tazones para libar; y el pan perpetuo estará sobre ella.

8 And they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put in the staves thereof.

8 Y extenderán sobre ella un paño de carmesí y lo cubrirán con la cubierta de pieles de tejón; y le pondrán sus varas.

9 And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:

9 Y tomarán un paño de azul y cubrirán el candelabro del alumbrado, y sus lámparas, y sus despabiladeras, y sus platillos y todos sus utensilios del aceite con que se sirve;

10 And they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put it upon a bar.

10 y lo pondrán con todos sus utensilios en una cubierta de pieles de tejón y lo colocarán sobre unas parihuelas.

11 And upon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put to the staves thereof:

11 Y sobre el altar de oro extenderán un paño de azul y lo cubrirán con la cubierta de pieles de tejón, y le pondrán sus varas.

12 And they shall take all the instruments of ministry, wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put them on a bar:

12 Y tomarán todos los utensilios del servicio de que hacen uso en el santuario, y los pondrán en un paño de azul, y los cubrirán con una cubierta de pieles de tejón y los colocarán sobre unas parihuelas.

13 And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon:

13 Y quitarán la ceniza del altar y extenderán sobre él un paño de púrpura;

14 And they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister about it, even the censers, the fleshhooks, and the shovels, and the basins, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers' skins, and put to the staves of it.

14 y pondrán sobre él todos los instrumentos que se usan en su servicio: las paletas, los garfios, los braseros y los tazones, todos los utensilios del altar; y extenderán sobre él la cubierta de pieles de tejón y le pondrán además las varas.

15 And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.

15 Y al acabar Aarón y sus hijos de cubrir el santuario y todos los enseres del santuario, cuando haya que mudar el campamento, vendrán después de ello los hijos de Coat para transportarlos; pero no tocarán cosa santa, no sea que mueran. Estas serán las cosas que cargarán los hijos de Coat en el tabernáculo de reunión.

16 And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest pertaineth the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil, and the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof.

16 Pero a cargo de Eleazar hijo de Aarón, el sacerdote, estará el aceite del alumbrado, y el incienso aromático, y la ofrenda perpetua de grano y el aceite de la unción; también estará a cargo de todo el tabernáculo y de todo lo que está en él, y del santuario y de sus utensilios.

17 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

17 Y habló Jehová a Moisés y a Aarón, diciendo:

18 Cut ye not off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites:

18 No talaréis la tribu de las familias de Coat de entre los levitas.

19 But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:

19 Esto haréis con ellos para que vivan y no mueran cuando se acerquen a los objetos más sagrados: Aarón y sus hijos vendrán y asignarán a cada uno su oficio y su carga.

20 But they shall not go in to see when the holy things are covered, lest they die.

20 No entrarán para ver cuando cubran las cosas santas, porque morirán.

21 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

21 Y habló Jehová a Moisés, diciendo:

22 Take also the sum of the sons of Gershon, throughout the houses of their fathers, by their families;

22 Haz también un censo de los hijos de Gersón por sus casas paternas, por sus familias.

23 From thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to perform the service, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.

23 De edad de treinta años arriba hasta cincuenta años los contarás, todos los que entran para servir en el tabernáculo de reunión.

24 This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, to serve, and for burdens:

24 Este será el servicio de las familias de Gersón para servir y para llevar:

25 And they shall bear the curtains of the tabernacle, and the tabernacle of the congregation, his covering, and the covering of the badgers' skins that is above upon it, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,

25 Llevarán las cortinas del tabernáculo y el tabernáculo de reunión, su cubierta, y la cubierta de pieles de tejón que está encima de él, y la cortina de la entrada del tabernáculo de reunión,

26 And the hangings of the court, and the hanging for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and all that is made for them: so shall they serve.

26 y las cortinas del atrio, y la cortina de la entrada del atrio que está alrededor del tabernáculo y del altar, y sus cuerdas, y todos los instrumentos de su servicio, y todo lo que será hecho para ellos; así servirán.

27 At the appointment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burdens, and in all their service: and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burdens.

27 Bajo las órdenes de Aarón y de sus hijos estará todo el ministerio de los hijos de Gersón en todas sus cargas y en todo su servicio; y les encomendaréis la custodia de todas sus cargas.

28 This is the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.

28 Este es el servicio de las familias de los hijos de Gersón en el tabernáculo de reunión; y su cargo estará bajo la dirección de Itamar hijo de Aarón, el sacerdote.

29 As for the sons of Merari, thou shalt number them after their families, by the house of their fathers;

29 Haz un censo de los hijos de Merari, por sus familias y por sus casas paternas.

30 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shalt thou number them, every one that entereth into the service, to do the work of the tabernacle of the congregation.

30 Desde el de edad de treinta años arriba hasta el de cincuenta años los contarás; todos los que entran para servir en el tabernáculo de reunión.

31 And this is the charge of their burden, according to all their service in the tabernacle of the congregation; the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and sockets thereof,

31 Y este será su deber para todo su servicio en el tabernáculo de reunión: transportar las tablas del tabernáculo, y sus barras, y sus columnas, y sus basas,

32 And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by name ye shall reckon the instruments of the charge of their burden.

32 y las columnas alrededor del atrio, y sus basas, y sus estacas, y sus cuerdas con todos sus instrumentos y todo su servicio; y asignaréis por sus nombres todos los utensilios de la custodia de su carga.

33 This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the tabernacle of the congregation, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.

33 Este será el servicio de las familias de los hijos de Merari para todo su ministerio en el tabernáculo de reunión, bajo la dirección de Itamar hijo de Aarón, el sacerdote.

34 And Moses and Aaron and the chief of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites after their families, and after the house of their fathers,

34 Moisés, pues, y Aarón y los jefes de la congregación contaron a los hijos de Coat por sus familias, y por sus casas paternas,

35 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation:

35 desde el de edad de treinta años arriba hasta el de edad de cincuenta años, todos los que entran para servir en el tabernáculo de reunión.

36 And those that were numbered of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred and fifty.

36 Y fueron los contados de ellos por sus familias dos mil setecientos cincuenta.

37 These were they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, which Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

37 Estos fueron los contados de las familias de Coat, todos los que habían de servir en el tabernáculo de reunión, los cuales contaron Moisés y Aarón, como lo mandó Jehová por medio de Moisés.

38 And those that were numbered of the sons of Gershon, throughout their families, and by the house of their fathers,

38 Y los contados de los hijos de Gersón, por sus familias y por sus casas paternas,

39 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,

39 desde el de edad de treinta años arriba hasta el de edad de cincuenta años, todos los que entran para servir en el tabernáculo de reunión;

40 Even those that were numbered of them, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers, were two thousand and six hundred and thirty.

40 los contados de ellos por sus familias y por sus casas paternas fueron dos mil seiscientos treinta.

41 These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, of all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, whom Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD.

41 Estos son los contados de las familias de los hijos de Gersón, todos los que habían de servir en el tabernáculo de reunión, los cuales contaron Moisés y Aarón por mandato de Jehová.

42 And those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers,

42 Y los contados de las familias de los hijos de Merari, por sus familias y por sus casas paternas,

43 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,

43 desde el de edad de treinta años arriba hasta el de edad de cincuenta años, todos los que entran para servir en el tabernáculo de reunión;

44 Even those that were numbered of them after their families, were three thousand and two hundred.

44 los contados de ellos, por sus familias, fueron tres mil doscientos.

45 These be those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

45 Estos fueron los contados de las familias de los hijos de Merari, los cuales contaron Moisés y Aarón, según lo mandó Jehová por medio de Moisés.

46 All those that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the chief of Israel numbered, after their families, and after the house of their fathers,

46 Todos los contados de los levitas, que Moisés y Aarón y los jefes de Israel contaron por sus familias, y por sus casas paternas,

47 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that came to do the service of the ministry, and the service of the burden in the tabernacle of the congregation,

47 desde el de edad de treinta años arriba hasta el de edad de cincuenta años, todos los que entraban para servir en el servicio, y hacer el trabajo de llevar cargas del tabernáculo de reunión;

48 Even those that were numbered of them, were eight thousand and five hundred and fourscore.

48 los contados de ellos fueron ocho mil quinientos ochenta,

49 According to the commandment of the LORD they were numbered by the hand of Moses, every one according to his service, and according to his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as the LORD commanded Moses.

49 como lo mandó Jehová por medio de Moisés fueron contados, cada uno según su oficio y según su deber; los cuales contó él, como le fue mandado.
