1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

1 Y Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo:

2 Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:)

2 Manda a los hijos de Israel y diles: Cuando hayáis entrado en la tierra de Canaán, esta será la tierra que os ha de tocar en heredad, la tierra de Canaán según sus límites:

3 Then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom, and your south border shall be the outmost coast of the salt sea eastward:

3 Tendréis el lado del sur desde el desierto de Zin hasta las fronteras de Edom; y la frontera del sur será el extremo del mar Salado, hacia el oriente.

4 And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadesh-barnea, and shall go on to Hazar-addar, and pass on to Azmon:

4 Y esta frontera os irá rodeando desde el sur hasta la subida de Acrabim, y pasará hasta Zin; y su límite sur llegará a Cades-barnea; y llegará a Hasar-adar y pasará hasta Asmón;

5 And the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea.

5 y rodeará este límite desde Asmón hasta el torrente de Egipto, y terminará en la costa del mar.

6 And as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border: this shall be your west border.

6 Y el límite occidental os será el mar Grande; este límite os será el límite occidental.

7 And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall point out for you mount Hor:

7 Y el límite del norte será este: desde el mar Grande trazaréis una línea hasta el monte Hor.

8 From mount Hor ye shall point out your border unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings forth of the border shall be to Zedad:

8 Del monte Hor trazaréis una línea hasta la entrada de Hamat, y el límite llegará hasta la frontera con Zedad;

9 And the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazar-enan: this shall be your north border.

9 y llegará este límite hasta Zifrón y terminará en Hazar-enán. Este os será el límite del norte.

10 And ye shall point out your east border from Hazar-enan to Shepham:

10 Y por límite al oriente trazaréis una línea desde Hazar-enán hasta Sefam,

11 And the coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward:

11 y bajará este límite desde Sefam a Ribla, al oriente de Aín; y descenderá el límite y llegará a la costa del mar de Cineret, al oriente.

12 And the border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt sea: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof round about.

12 Después descenderá este límite al Jordán, y terminará en el mar Salado. Esta será vuestra tierra con sus límites alrededor.

13 And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which the LORD commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half tribe:

13 Y mandó Moisés a los hijos de Israel, diciendo: Esta es la tierra que heredaréis por sorteo, la cual mandó Jehová que diese a las nueve tribus y a la media tribu,

14 For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance:

14 porque la tribu de los hijos de Rubén, según sus casas paternas, y la tribu de los hijos de Gad, según las casas de sus padres, y la media tribu de Manasés, han tomado su heredad.

15 The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side Jordan near Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.

15 Dos tribus y media tomaron su heredad de este lado del Jordán, de Jericó al oriente, hacia el nacimiento del sol.

16 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

16 Y habló Jehová a Moisés, diciendo:

17 These are the names of the men which shall divide the land unto you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.

17 Estos son los nombres de los hombres que os repartirán la tierra: El sacerdote Eleazar y Josué hijo de Nun.

18 And ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land by inheritance.

18 Tomaréis también de cada tribu un príncipe para dar la posesión de la tierra.

19 And the names of the men are these: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

19 Y estos son los nombres de los hombres: De la tribu de Judá, Caleb hijo de Jefone.

20 And of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.

20 Y de la tribu de los hijos de Simeón, Semuel hijo de Amiud.

21 Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.

21 De la tribu de Benjamín, Elidad hijo de Quislón.

22 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli.

22 Y de la tribu de los hijos de Dan, el príncipe Buqui hijo de Jogli.

23 The prince of the children of Joseph, for the tribe of the children of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod.

23 De los hijos de José: de la tribu de los hijos de Manasés, el príncipe Haniel hijo de Efod,

24 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.

24 y de la tribu de los hijos de Efraín, el príncipe Kemuel hijo de Siftán.

25 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Zebulun, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.

25 Y de la tribu de los hijos de Zabulón, el príncipe Elizafán hijo de Parnac.

26 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Issachar, Paltiel the son of Azzan.

26 Y de la tribu de los hijos de Isacar, el príncipe Paltiel hijo de Azán.

27 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.

27 Y de la tribu de los hijos de Aser, el príncipe Ahiud hijo de Selomi.

28 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.

28 Y de la tribu de los hijos de Neftalí, el príncipe Pedael hijo de Amiud.

29 These are they whom the LORD commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.

29 Estos son los que mandó Jehová que hiciesen la repartición de las heredades a los hijos de Israel en la tierra de Canaán.
