1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

1 Y Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo:

2 Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.

2 Hazte dos trompetas de plata; de obra de martillo las harás, las cuales te servirán para convocar a la congregación y para hacer mover los campamentos.

3 And when they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

3 Y cuando las toquen, toda la congregación se reunirá ante ti a la entrada del tabernáculo de reunión.

4 And if they blow but with one trumpet, then the princes, which are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee.

4 Pero cuando toquen solo una, entonces se congregarán ante ti los príncipes, las cabezas de los millares de Israel.

5 When ye blow an alarm, then the camps that lie on the east parts shall go forward.

5 Y cuando toquéis alarma, entonces se pondrán en marcha los campamentos de los que están acampados al oriente.

6 When ye blow an alarm the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall take their journey: they shall blow an alarm for their journeys.

6 Y cuando toquéis alarma la segunda vez, entonces se pondrán en marcha los campamentos de los que están acampados al sur; alarma tocarán para sus partidas.

7 But when the congregation is to be gathered together, ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound an alarm.

7 Pero para reunir a la congregación tocaréis, mas no con sonido de alarma.

8 And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance for ever throughout your generations.

8 Y los hijos de Aarón, los sacerdotes, tocarán las trompetas; y las tendréis como estatuto perpetuo por vuestras generaciones.

9 And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.

9 Y cuando salgáis a la guerra en vuestra tierra contra el enemigo que os oprima, tocaréis alarma con las trompetas; y seréis recordados delante de Jehová vuestro Dios, y seréis salvos de vuestros enemigos.

10 Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God.

10 Y en el día de vuestra alegría, y en vuestras solemnidades y en los principios de vuestros meses, tocaréis las trompetas sobre vuestros holocaustos y sobre los sacrificios de vuestras ofrendas de paz, y os serán como recordatorio delante de vuestro Dios. Yo, Jehová, vuestro Dios.

11 And it came to pass on the twentieth day of the second month, in the second year, that the cloud was taken up from off the tabernacle of the testimony.

11 Y aconteció que en el año segundo, en el mes segundo, a los veinte días del mes, la nube se alzó de encima del tabernáculo del testimonio.

12 And the children of Israel took their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Paran.

12 Y los hijos de Israel partieron, según el orden de marcha, del desierto de Sinaí; y la nube se detuvo en el desierto de Parán.

13 And they first took their journey according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

13 Y partieron la primera vez según el mandato de Jehová por medio de Moisés.

14 In the first place went the standard of the camp of the children of Judah according to their armies: and over his host was Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

14 Y la bandera del campamento de los hijos de Judá comenzó a marchar primero, según sus ejércitos; y Naasón hijo de Aminadab, estaba sobre su ejército.

15 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Issachar was Nethaneel the son of Zuar.

15 Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Isacar, Natanael hijo de Zuar.

16 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Zebulun was Eliab the son of Helon.

16 Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Zabulón, Eliab hijo de Helón.

17 And the tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari set forward, bearing the tabernacle.

17 Y después que estaba ya desarmado el tabernáculo, partieron los hijos de Gersón y los hijos de Merari, que lo llevaban.

18 And the standard of the camp of Reuben set forward according to their armies: and over his host was Elizur the son of Shedeur.

18 Luego comenzó a marchar la bandera del campamento de Rubén, según sus ejércitos; y Elisur hijo de Sedeur estaba sobre su ejército.

19 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Simeon was Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

19 Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Simeón, Selumiel hijo de Zurisadai.

20 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Gad was Eliasaph the son of Deuel.

20 Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Gad, Eliasaf hijo de Deuel.

21 And the Kohathites set forward, bearing the sanctuary: and the other did set up the tabernacle against they came.

21 Luego comenzaron a marchar los coatitas llevando el santuario; y entretanto que ellos llegaban, los otros armaban el tabernáculo.

22 And the standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim set forward according to their armies: and over his host was Elishama the son of Ammihud.

22 Después comenzó a marchar la bandera del campamento de los hijos de Efraín, según sus ejércitos; y Elisama hijo de Amiud estaba sobre su ejército.

23 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Manasseh was Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.

23 Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Manasés, Gamaliel hijo de Pedasur.

24 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Benjamin was Abidan the son of Gideoni.

24 Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Benjamín, Abidán hijo de Gedeoni.

25 And the standard of the camp of the children of Dan set forward, which was the rearward of all the camps throughout their hosts: and over his host was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

25 Luego comenzó a marchar la bandera del campamento de los hijos de Dan, según sus ejércitos, a la retaguardia de todos los campamentos; y Ahiezer hijo de Amisadai estaba sobre su ejército.

26 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Asher was Pagiel the son of Ocran.

26 Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Aser, Pagiel hijo de Ocrán.

27 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Naphtali was Ahira the son of Enan.

27 Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Neftalí, Ahira hijo de Enán.

28 Thus were the journeyings of the children of Israel according to their armies, when they set forward.

28 Este era el orden de marcha de los hijos de Israel, según sus ejércitos, cuando partían.

29 And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses' father in law, We are journeying unto the place of which the LORD said, I will give it you: come thou with us, and we will do thee good: for the LORD hath spoken good concerning Israel.

29 Entonces dijo Moisés a Hobab hijo de Reuel, el madianita, su suegro: Nosotros partimos para el lugar del cual Jehová ha dicho: Yo os lo daré. Ven con nosotros y te haremos bien, porque Jehová ha prometido el bien con respecto a Israel.

30 And he said unto him, I will not go; but I will depart to mine own land, and to my kindred.

30 Y él le respondió: Yo no iré, sino que me marcharé a mi tierra y a mi parentela.

31 And he said, Leave us not, I pray thee; forasmuch as thou knowest how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and thou mayest be to us instead of eyes.

31 Y él le dijo: Te ruego que no nos dejes, porque tú sabes dónde debemos acampar en el desierto y serás como ojos para nosotros.

32 And it shall be, if thou go with us, yea, it shall be, that what goodness the LORD shall do unto us, the same will we do unto thee.

32 Y será que si vienes con nosotros, cuando tengamos el bien que Jehová nos ha de hacer, nosotros te haremos el bien.

33 And they departed from the mount of the LORD three days' journey: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them in the three days' journey, to search out a resting place for them.

33 Así partieron del monte de Jehová camino de tres días; y el arca del convenio de Jehová fue delante de ellos camino de tres días, buscándoles lugar de descanso.

34 And the cloud of the LORD was upon them by day, when they went out of the camp.

34 Y la nube de Jehová iba sobre ellos de día desde que partieron del campamento.

35 And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let thine enemies be scattered; and let them that hate thee flee before thee.

35 Y aconteció que cuando el arca se ponía en marcha, Moisés decía: Levántate, oh Jehová, y sean dispersados tus enemigos y huyan de tu presencia los que te aborrecen.

36 And when it rested, he said, Return, O LORD, unto the many thousands of Israel.

36 Y cuando ella se asentaba, decía: Vuelve, oh Jehová, a los millares de millares de Israel.
