1 Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand.

1 ¡Ay de los que en sus camas traman iniquidad y maquinan el mal, y cuando llega la mañana lo ponen por obra, porque tienen en su mano el poder!

2 And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.

2 Y codician los campos y los roban; y casas, y las quitan; así oprimen al hombre y a su casa, al hombre y a su heredad.

3 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time is evil.

3 Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí, yo tramo contra esta familia un mal, del cual no sacaréis vuestros cuellos ni andaréis erguidos, porque el tiempo será malo.

4 In that day shall one take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, and say, We be utterly spoiled: he hath changed the portion of my people: how hath he removed it from me! turning away he hath divided our fields.

4 En aquel día se levantará contra vosotros un refrán, y se lamentará con triste lamentación, diciendo: Del todo fuimos destruidos; él ha cambiado la heredad de mi pueblo. ¡Cómo nos quitó nuestros campos! Los repartió a otros.

5 Therefore thou shalt have none that shall cast a cord by lot in the congregation of the LORD.

5 Por tanto, no tendrás quien reparta heredades a suerte en la congregación de Jehová.

6 Prophesy ye not, say they to them that prophesy: they shall not prophesy to them, that they shall not take shame.

6 No profeticéis, dicen a los que profetizan; no les profeticen, porque no van a avergonzarse.

7 O thou that art named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD straitened? are these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?

7 Tú que te dices casa de Jacob, ¿se ha reducido el espíritu de Jehová? ¿Son estas sus obras? ¿No hacen bien mis palabras al que camina rectamente?

8 Even of late my people is risen up as an enemy: ye pull off the robe with the garment from them that pass by securely as men averse from war.

8 El que ayer era mi pueblo se ha levantado como enemigo; a los que pasan confiadamente, los que vuelven de la guerra, les quitáis el manto de sobre la vestimenta.

9 The women of my people have ye cast out from their pleasant houses; from their children have ye taken away my glory for ever.

9 A las mujeres de mi pueblo echasteis fuera de las casas de sus delicias; a sus niños quitasteis mi gloria para siempre.

10 Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction.

10 Levantaos y andad, porque este no es lugar de reposo; puesto que está contaminado, destruirá con gran destrucción.

11 If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.

11 Si alguno anda con espíritu falso y miente, diciendo: Yo te profetizaré de vino y de sidra; este será el profeta para este pueblo.

12 I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men.

12 De cierto os reuniré a todos, oh Jacob; recogeré ciertamente al remanente de Israel; los pondré juntos como ovejas de Bosra, como rebaño en medio de su redil; harán estruendo por la multitud de hombres.

13 The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of them.

13 Subirá el que abre brechas delante de ellos; abrirán brecha, y pasarán la puerta y saldrán por ella; y su rey pasará delante de ellos, y a la cabeza de ellos Jehová.
