1 Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.

1 No haréis para vosotros ídolos, ni escultura, ni os levantaréis estatua, ni pondréis en vuestra tierra piedra grabada para inclinaros ante ella, porque yo soy Jehová, vuestro Dios.

2 Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.

2 Guardad mis días de reposo y tened en reverencia mi santuario. Yo Jehová.

3 If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;

3 Si andáis en mis estatutos y guardáis mis mandamientos, y los ponéis por obra,

4 Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

4 yo os daré la lluvia en su tiempo, y la tierra rendirá sus productos, y el árbol del campo dará su fruto;

5 And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.

5 y la trilla os durará hasta la vendimia, y la vendimia durará hasta la siembra, y comeréis vuestro pan hasta saciaros y habitaréis seguros en vuestra tierra.

6 And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.

6 Y yo daré paz en la tierra, y dormiréis, y no habrá quien os espante; y quitaré las malas bestias de vuestra tierra, y no pasará por vuestro país la espada.

7 And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.

7 Y perseguiréis a vuestros enemigos y caerán a espada delante de vosotros.

8 And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.

8 Y cinco de vosotros perseguirán a cien, y cien de vosotros perseguirán a diez mil, y vuestros enemigos caerán a espada delante de vosotros.

9 For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.

9 Porque yo me volveré a vosotros y os haré crecer y os multiplicaré, y afirmaré mi convenio con vosotros.

10 And ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.

10 Y comeréis lo añejo de mucho tiempo y sacaréis fuera lo añejo para guardar lo nuevo.

11 And I will set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.

11 Y pondré mi morada en medio de vosotros, y mi alma no os abominará.

12 And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.

12 Y andaré entre vosotros y yo seré vuestro Dios, y vosotros seréis mi pueblo.

13 I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.

13 Yo soy Jehová, vuestro Dios, que os saqué de la tierra de Egipto para que no fueseis sus esclavos; y rompí las coyundas de vuestro yugo, y os he hecho andar con el rostro erguido.

14 But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;

14 Pero si no me escucháis ni cumplís todos estos mandamientos,

15 And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:

15 y si despreciáis mis estatutos, y vuestra alma menosprecia mis decretos, y no cumplís todos mis mandamientos y quebrantáis así mi convenio,

16 I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

16 yo también haré con vosotros esto: enviaré sobre vosotros terror, tisis y fiebre que consuman los ojos y atormenten el alma; y sembraréis en vano vuestra semilla, porque vuestros enemigos la comerán.

17 And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.

17 Y pondré mi rostro contra vosotros, y seréis heridos delante de vuestros enemigos; y los que os aborrecen se enseñorearán de vosotros, y huiréis sin que haya quien os persiga.

18 And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.

18 Y si aun con estas cosas no me escucháis, yo volveré a castigaros siete veces más por vuestros pecados.

19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:

19 Y quebrantaré la soberbia de vuestra fortaleza y haré vuestro cielo como hierro y vuestra tierra como bronce.

20 And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.

20 Y vuestra fuerza se consumirá en vano, porque vuestra tierra no dará su producto, y los árboles de la tierra no darán su fruto.

21 And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.

21 Y si andáis en contra de mí y no queréis escucharme, yo añadiré sobre vosotros siete veces más plagas según vuestros pecados.

22 I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate.

22 Enviaré también contra vosotros fieras salvajes que os arrebaten los hijos, y destruyan vuestro ganado y os reduzcan en número, y vuestros caminos queden desiertos.

23 And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;

23 Y si con estas cosas no os corregís, sino que andáis en contra de mí,

24 Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.

24 yo también andaré en contra de vosotros y os heriré aún siete veces por vuestros pecados.

25 And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.

25 Y traeré sobre vosotros espada vengadora, en vindicación del convenio; y si os refugiáis en vuestras ciudades, yo enviaré pestilencia entre vosotros, y seréis entregados en manos del enemigo.

26 And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.

26 Cuando yo os quebrante el sustento del pan, cocerán diez mujeres vuestro pan en un horno, y os devolverán vuestro pan por peso; y comeréis y no os saciaréis.

27 And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;

27 Y si con esto no me escucháis, sino que andáis en contra de mí,

28 Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.

28 yo andaré contra vosotros con ira y os castigaré aún siete veces por vuestros pecados.

29 And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.

29 Y comeréis la carne de vuestros hijos y comeréis la carne de vuestras hijas.

30 And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.

30 Y destruiré vuestros lugares altos y derribaré vuestras imágenes, y pondré vuestros cuerpos muertos sobre los cuerpos muertos de vuestros ídolos, y mi alma os abominará.

31 And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours.

31 Y dejaré desiertas vuestras ciudades, y asolaré vuestros santuarios y no oleré la fragancia de vuestro suave perfume.

32 And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it.

32 Yo asolaré también la tierra, y se pasmarán por ello vuestros enemigos que en ella moren;

33 And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.

33 y a vosotros os esparciré entre las naciones, y desenvainaré la espada en pos de vosotros; y vuestra tierra quedará asolada, y desoladas vuestras ciudades.

34 Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye be in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths.

34 Entonces la tierra disfrutará de sus días de reposo todos los días que esté asolada, mientras vosotros estéis en la tierra de vuestros enemigos; la tierra descansará entonces y disfrutará de sus días de reposo.

35 As long as it lieth desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it.

35 Todo el tiempo que esté asolada tendrá el descanso del que no disfrutó en vuestros días de reposo mientras habitabais en ella.

36 And upon them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth.

36 Y a los que queden de vosotros, les infundiré en sus corazones tal cobardía en la tierra de sus enemigos que el sonido de una hoja que se mueva los perseguirá, y huirán como se huye ante la espada y caerán sin que nadie los persiga.

37 And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies.

37 Y tropezarán los unos con los otros como si huyeran delante de la espada aunque nadie los persiga; y no podréis resistir frente a vuestros enemigos.

38 And ye shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.

38 Y pereceréis entre las naciones, y la tierra de vuestros enemigos os consumirá.

39 And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies' lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.

39 Y los que queden de vosotros se pudrirán en las tierras de vuestros enemigos por su iniquidad; y también por la iniquidad de sus padres se pudrirán con ellos.

40 If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;

40 Si confiesan su iniquidad y la iniquidad de sus padres, por su transgresión con que transgredieron contra mí, y también porque anduvieron en contra de mí,

41 And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:

41 yo también habré andado en contra de ellos y los habré llevado a la tierra de sus enemigos; y si entonces se humilla su corazón incircunciso y aceptan el castigo de su pecado,

42 Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.

42 entonces yo me acordaré de mi convenio con Jacob, y asimismo de mi convenio con Isaac y también de mi convenio con Abraham me acordaré; y haré memoria de la tierra.

43 The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity: because, even because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes.

43 Porque la tierra será abandonada por ellos y disfrutará de sus días de reposo, estando yerma a causa de ellos; entretanto, se someterán al castigo de sus iniquidades, por cuanto menospreciaron mis decretos y el alma de ellos aborreció mis estatutos.

44 And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God.

44 Y aun con todo esto, estando ellos en tierra de sus enemigos, yo no los desecharé ni los abominaré para consumirlos, invalidando mi convenio con ellos, porque yo, Jehová, soy su Dios.

45 But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the LORD.

45 Antes me acordaré de ellos por el convenio antiguo, cuando los saqué de la tierra de Egipto a los ojos de las naciones para ser su Dios. Yo Jehová.

46 These are the statutes and judgments and laws, which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.

46 Estos son los estatutos, decretos y leyes que estableció Jehová entre él y los hijos de Israel en el monte Sinaí por medio de Moisés.
