1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

1 Y habló Jehová a Moisés, diciendo:

2 Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy.

2 Habla a toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel y diles: Santos seréis, porque santo soy yo, Jehová, vuestro Dios.

3 Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the LORD your God.

3 Cada uno temerá a su madre y a su padre, y mis días de reposo guardaréis. Yo, Jehová, vuestro Dios.

4 Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the LORD your God.

4 No os volveréis a los ídolos ni haréis para vosotros dioses de fundición. Yo, Jehová, vuestro Dios.

5 And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, ye shall offer it at your own will.

5 Y cuando ofrezcáis un sacrificio de ofrendas de paz a Jehová, de vuestra voluntad lo ofreceréis.

6 It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow: and if ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt in the fire.

6 Será comido el día en que lo ofrezcáis, o al siguiente día; y lo que quede para el tercer día será quemado en el fuego.

7 And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it is abominable; it shall not be accepted.

7 Y si se come al tercer día, será abominación; no será acepto,

8 Therefore every one that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath profaned the hallowed thing of the LORD: and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

8 y el que lo coma llevará su iniquidad, por cuanto profanó lo santo de Jehová; y tal persona será talada de entre su pueblo.

9 And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest.

9 Cuando seguéis la mies de vuestra tierra, no segarás hasta el último rincón de tu campo ni espigarás tu tierra segada.

10 And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the LORD your God.

10 Y no rebuscarás tu viña ni recogerás las uvas caídas de tu viña; para el pobre y para el extranjero las dejarás. Yo, Jehová, vuestro Dios.

11 Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.

11 No hurtaréis, ni engañaréis ni mentiréis a vuestro prójimo.

12 And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.

12 Y no juraréis en falso por mi nombre ni profanarás el nombre de tu Dios. Yo Jehová.

13 Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.

13 No oprimirás a tu prójimo ni le robarás. No retendrás el salario del jornalero en tu casa hasta la mañana.

14 Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the LORD.

14 No maldecirás al sordo ni delante del ciego pondrás tropiezo, sino que tendrás temor de tu Dios. Yo Jehová.

15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

15 No harás injusticia en el juicio; no favorecerás al pobre ni complacerás al grande; con justicia juzgarás a tu prójimo.

16 Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I am the LORD.

16 No andarás chismeando entre tu pueblo. No atentarás contra la vida de tu prójimo. Yo Jehová.

17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

17 No aborrecerás a tu hermano en tu corazón; ciertamente reprenderás a tu prójimo y no consentirás que él peque.

18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

18 No te vengarás, ni guardarás rencor a los hijos de tu pueblo, sino que amarás a tu prójimo como a ti mismo. Yo Jehová.

19 Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.

19 Mis estatutos guardaréis. A tu ganado no harás ayuntar con animales de otra especie; no sembrarás tu campo con mezcla de semillas, y no te pondrás vestidos con mezcla de dos clases de material.

20 And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that is a bondmaid, betrothed to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free.

20 Si un hombre se acuesta con una mujer, y ella es sierva desposada con alguno, y no ha sido rescatada ni le ha sido dada la libertad, ambos serán azotados; no morirán, por cuanto ella no es libre.

21 And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, even a ram for a trespass offering.

21 Y él traerá a Jehová su ofrenda por la culpa a la entrada del tabernáculo de reunión, un carnero como ofrenda por la culpa.

22 And the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before the LORD for his sin which he hath done: and the sin which he hath done shall be forgiven him.

22 Y con el carnero de la ofrenda por la culpa el sacerdote hará expiación por él delante de Jehová, por el pecado que cometió; y se le perdonará el pecado que ha cometido.

23 And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of.

23 Y cuando entréis en la tierra y plantéis toda clase de árboles frutales, consideraréis incircunciso lo primero de su fruto; tres años os será incircunciso; su fruto no se comerá.

24 But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy to praise the LORD withal.

24 Y el cuarto año todo su fruto será santo, una ofrenda de alabanza a Jehová.

25 And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I am the LORD your God.

25 Mas al quinto año comeréis de su fruto, para que os haga crecer su fruto. Yo, Jehová, vuestro Dios.

26 Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.

26 No comeréis cosa alguna con sangre. No seréis agoreros ni adivinos.

27 Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.

27 No cortaréis el cabello de vuestras sienes, ni dañaréis la punta de vuestra barba.

28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.

28 Y no haréis sajaduras en vuestro cuerpo por un muerto ni imprimiréis en vosotros señal alguna. Yo Jehová.

29 Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.

29 No contaminarás a tu hija haciendo que se prostituya, para que no se prostituya la tierra y se llene de maldad.

30 Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.

30 Mis días de reposo guardaréis, y mi santuario tendréis en reverencia. Yo Jehová.

31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.

31 No os volváis a los encantadores ni a los adivinos; no los consultéis, contaminándoos con ellos. Yo, Jehová, vuestro Dios.

32 Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD.

32 Delante de las canas te levantarás y honrarás el rostro del anciano, y de tu Dios tendrás temor. Yo Jehová.

33 And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.

33 Y cuando el extranjero more contigo en vuestra tierra, no le oprimiréis.

34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

34 Como a un natural de vosotros tendréis al extranjero que peregrine entre vosotros; y lo amarás como a ti mismo, porque extranjeros fuisteis en la tierra de Egipto. Yo, Jehová, vuestro Dios.

35 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure.

35 No hagáis injusticia en el juicio, ni en medida de tierra, ni en peso ni en otra medida.

36 Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt.

36 Tendréis balanzas justas, pesas justas, un efa justo y un hin justo. Yo, Jehová, vuestro Dios, que os saqué de la tierra de Egipto.

37 Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am the LORD.

37 Guardad, pues, todos mis estatutos y todos mis decretos, y ponedlos por obra. Yo Jehová.
