1 And the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of the congregation there. And the land was subdued before them.

1 Y toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel se reunió en Silo, y asentaron allí el tabernáculo de reunión, después que hubieron sometido la tierra.

2 And there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes, which had not yet received their inheritance.

2 Mas habían quedado de los hijos de Israel siete tribus, a las cuales aún no les habían repartido su posesión.

3 And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hath given you?

3 Y Josué dijo a los hijos de Israel: ¿Hasta cuándo seréis negligentes para ir a poseer la tierra que os ha dado Jehová el Dios de vuestros padres?

4 Give out from among you three men for each tribe: and I will send them, and they shall rise, and go through the land, and describe it according to the inheritance of them; and they shall come again to me.

4 Designad tres varones de cada tribu, para que yo los envíe, y que ellos se levanten y recorran la tierra, y la describan conforme a sus heredades, y regresen a mí.

5 And they shall divide it into seven parts: Judah shall abide in their coast on the south, and the house of Joseph shall abide in their coasts on the north.

5 Y la dividirán en siete partes; y Judá se quedará en su territorio al sur, y los de la casa de José se quedarán en el suyo al norte.

6 Ye shall therefore describe the land into seven parts, and bring the description hither to me, that I may cast lots for you here before the LORD our God.

6 Vosotros, pues, delinearéis la tierra en siete partes, y me traeréis la descripción aquí, y yo os echaré suertes aquí delante de Jehová nuestro Dios.

7 But the Levites have no part among you; for the priesthood of the LORD is their inheritance: and Gad, and Reuben, and half the tribe of Manasseh, have received their inheritance beyond Jordan on the east, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave them.

7 Pero los levitas ninguna parte tienen entre vosotros, porque el sacerdocio de Jehová es la heredad de ellos. Gad también y Rubén, y la media tribu de Manasés, ya han recibido su heredad al otro lado del Jordán al oriente, la cual les dio Moisés, siervo de Jehová.

8 And the men arose, and went away: and Joshua charged them that went to describe the land, saying, Go and walk through the land, and describe it, and come again to me, that I may here cast lots for you before the LORD in Shiloh.

8 Levantándose, pues, aquellos varones, fueron; y mandó Josué a los que iban para delinear la tierra, diciéndoles: Id, recorred la tierra, y delineadla, y volved a mí, para que yo os eche suertes aquí delante de Jehová en Silo.

9 And the men went and passed through the land, and described it by cities into seven parts in a book, and came again to Joshua to the host at Shiloh.

9 Fueron, pues, aquellos varones y recorrieron la tierra, delineándola por ciudades en siete partes en un libro, y volvieron a Josué al campamento en Silo.

10 And Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before the LORD: and there Joshua divided the land unto the children of Israel according to their divisions.

10 Y Josué les echó suertes delante de Jehová en Silo; y allí repartió Josué la tierra a los hijos de Israel según sus porciones.

11 And the lot of the tribe of the children of Benjamin came up according to their families: and the coast of their lot came forth between the children of Judah and the children of Joseph.

11 Y se sacó la suerte de la tribu de los hijos de Benjamín, según sus familias, y salió el territorio de su suerte entre los hijos de Judá y los hijos de José.

12 And their border on the north side was from Jordan; and the border went up to the side of Jericho on the north side, and went up through the mountains westward; and the goings out thereof were at the wilderness of Beth-aven.

12 Y el límite de ellos, al lado del norte, sale del Jordán; y sube aquel límite por el lado de Jericó al norte; sube después por el monte hacia el occidente, y viene a salir al desierto de Bet-avén.

13 And the border went over from thence toward Luz, to the side of Luz, which is Beth-el, southward; and the border descended to Ataroth-adar, near the hill that lieth on the south side of the nether Beth-horon.

13 Y de allí pasa aquel límite hacia Luz, por el lado sur de Luz (que es Bet-el). Y desciende este límite de Atarot-adar al monte que está al sur de Bet-horón la de abajo.

14 And the border was drawn thence, and compassed the corner of the sea southward, from the hill that lieth before Beth-horon southward; and the goings out thereof were at Kirjath-baal, which is Kirjath-jearim, a city of the children of Judah: this was the west quarter.

14 Y este límite dobla y da vuelta hacia el lado del mar, al sur, hasta el monte que está delante de Bet-horón al sur; y viene a salir a Quiriat-baal, que es Quiriat-jearim, ciudad de los hijos de Judá. Este es el lado del occidente.

15 And the south quarter was from the end of Kirjath-jearim, and the border went out on the west, and went out to the well of waters of Nephtoah:

15 Y el lado del sur va desde el extremo de Quiriat-jearim, y sale el límite al occidente, a la fuente de las aguas de Neftoa.

16 And the border came down to the end of the mountain that lieth before the valley of the son of Hinnom, and which is in the valley of the giants on the north, and descended to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of Jebusi on the south, and descended to En-rogel,

16 Y desciende este límite al extremo del monte que está delante del valle del hijo de Hinom, que está en el valle de los gigantes hacia el norte; desciende luego al valle de Hinom, al lado del jebuseo al sur, y de allí desciende a la fuente de Rogel.

17 And was drawn from the north, and went forth to En-shemesh, and went forth toward Geliloth, which is over against the going up of Adummim, and descended to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben,

17 Y del norte dobla y sale a En-semes, y de allí sale a Gelilot, que está delante de la subida de Adumín, y desciende a la piedra de Bohán hijo de Rubén,

18 And passed along toward the side over against Arabah northward, and went down unto Arabah:

18 y pasa al lado que está delante del Arabá hacia el norte, y desciende al Arabá:

19 And the border passed along to the side of Beth-hoglah northward: and the outgoings of the border were at the north bay of the salt sea at the south end of Jordan: this was the south coast.

19 Y pasa este límite por el lado de Bet-hogla hacia el norte, y viene a salir a la bahía del mar Salado al norte, al extremo del Jordán al sur. Este es el límite hacia el sur.

20 And Jordan was the border of it on the east side. This was the inheritance of the children of Benjamin, by the coasts thereof round about, according to their families.

20 Y el Jordán era el límite al lado del oriente. Esta es la heredad de los hijos de Benjamín por sus límites alrededor, conforme a sus familias.

21 Now the cities of the tribe of the children of Benjamin according to their families were Jericho, and Beth-hoglah, and the valley of Keziz,

21 Las ciudades de la tribu de los hijos de Benjamín, conforme a sus familias, fueron Jericó, y Bet-hogla, y el valle de Casis,

22 And Beth-arabah, and Zemaraim, and Beth-el,

22 y Bet-arabá, y Zemaraim, y Bet-el,

23 And Avim, and Parah, and Ophrah,

23 y Avim, y Pará, y Ofra,

24 And Chephar-haammonai, and Ophni, and Gaba; twelve cities with their villages:

24 y Quefar-haamoni, y Ofni, y Geba; doce ciudades con sus aldeas.

25 Gibeon, and Ramah, and Beeroth,

25 Gabaón, y Ramá, y Beerot,

26 And Mizpeh, and Chephirah, and Mozah,

26 y Mizpa, y Cafira, y Mozah,

27 And Rekem, and Irpeel, and Taralah,

27 y Requem, e Irpeel, y Tarala,

28 And Zelah, Eleph, and Jebusi, which is Jerusalem, Gibeath, and Kirjath; fourteen cities with their villages. This is the inheritance of the children of Benjamin according to their families.

28 y Zela, Elef, y Jebús, que es Jerusalén, Gibeat y Quiriat; catorce ciudades con sus aldeas. Esta es la heredad de los hijos de Benjamín, conforme a sus familias.
