1 And the lot of the children of Joseph fell from Jordan by Jericho, unto the water of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness that goeth up from Jericho throughout mount Beth-el,

1 Y le tocó en suerte a los hijos de José desde el Jordán de Jericó hasta las aguas de Jericó hacia el oriente, hacia el desierto que sube de Jericó por la región montañosa de Bet-el.

2 And goeth out from Beth-el to Luz, and passeth along unto the borders of Archi to Ataroth,

2 Y de Bet-el sale a Luz, y pasa por el territorio de los arquitas hasta Atarot;

3 And goeth down westward to the coast of Japhleti, unto the coast of Beth-horon the nether, and to Gezer: and the goings out thereof are at the sea.

3 y vuelve a descender hacia el occidente al territorio de los jafletitas, hasta el límite de Bet-horón la de abajo, y hasta Gezer, y sale al mar.

4 So the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.

4 Recibieron, pues, su heredad los hijos de José, Manasés y Efraín.

5 And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was thus: even the border of their inheritance on the east side was Ataroth-addar, unto Beth-horon the upper;

5 Y el territorio de los hijos de Efraín, conforme a sus familias, fue este: El límite de su heredad hacia el oriente, desde Atarot-adar hasta Bet-horón la de arriba.

6 And the border went out toward the sea to Michmethah on the north side; and the border went about eastward unto Taanath-shiloh, and passed by it on the east to Janohah;

6 Y sigue este límite hasta el mar, y hasta Micmetat al norte, y da vuelta este límite hacia el oriente hasta Taanat-silo, y de aquí pasa al oriente a Janoa.

7 And it went down from Janohah to Ataroth, and to Naarath, and came to Jericho, and went out at Jordan.

7 Y de Janoa desciende a Atarot, y a Naarat, y toca Jericó, y sale al Jordán.

8 The border went out from Tappuah westward unto the river Kanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.

8 Y de Tapúa sigue este límite hacia el occidente hasta el arroyo de Caná, y sale al mar. Esta es la heredad de la tribu de los hijos de Efraín, conforme a sus familias.

9 And the separate cities for the children of Ephraim were among the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.

9 Hubo también ciudades que se apartaron para los hijos de Efraín en medio de la heredad de los hijos de Manasés, todas las ciudades con sus aldeas.

10 And they drave not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites unto this day, and serve under tribute.

10 Pero no expulsaron al cananeo que habitaba en Gezer; por lo tanto, han quedado los cananeos en medio de Efraín, hasta hoy, y han sido sometidos a trabajos forzados.
