1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,

1 Entonces respondió Bildad, el suhita, y dijo:

2 Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.

2 El señorío y el temor están con él; él hace paz en sus alturas.

3 Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?

3 ¿Tienen sus ejércitos número? ¿Y sobre quién no se levanta su luz?

4 How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?

4 ¿Cómo, pues, se justificará el hombre para con Dios? ¿Y cómo será limpio el que nace de mujer?

5 Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.

5 He aquí que ni aun la misma luna es resplandeciente, ni las estrellas son limpias delante de sus ojos,

6 How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?

6 ¡cuánto menos el hombre, que es un gusano, y el hijo de hombre, también gusano!
