1 Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;

1 Así dice Jehová a su ungido, a Ciro, al cual tomé yo de la mano derecha para someter naciones delante de él y desatar lomos de reyes; para abrir puertas delante de él, y las puertas no se cerrarán:

2 I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:

2 Yo iré delante de ti y enderezaré lo torcido; romperé puertas de bronce y haré pedazos cerrojos de hierro;

3 And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

3 y te daré los tesoros escondidos y las riquezas de lugares secretos, para que sepas que yo soy Jehová, el Dios de Israel, el que te llama por tu nombre.

4 For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.

4 A causa de mi siervo Jacob, y de Israel mi escogido, te llamé por tu nombre; te puse un título, aunque no me conocías.

5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:

5 Yo soy Jehová, y no hay ningún otro; no hay Dios fuera de mí. Yo te ceñiré, aunque tú no me has conocido,

6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.

6 para que se sepa desde el nacimiento del sol hasta donde se pone que no hay nadie más que yo; yo soy Jehová, y no hay ningún otro.

7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

7 Yo formo la luz y creo las tinieblas; hago la paz y creo la adversidad. Yo, Jehová, hago todo esto.

8 Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.

8 Rociad, cielos, desde arriba, y las nubes destilen la justicia; ábrase la tierra, y prodúzcanse la salvación y la justicia; háganse brotar juntamente. Yo, Jehová, lo he creado.

9 Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?

9 ¡Ay del que pleitea con su Hacedor! ¡Un tiesto con los tiestos de la tierra! ¿Dirá el barro al que lo moldea: Qué haces?, o: ¿Tu obra no tiene manos?

10 Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?

10 ¡Ay del que dice al padre: ¿Qué engendraste?, y a la mujer: ¿Qué diste a luz?!

11 Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.

11 Así dice Jehová, el Santo de Israel y su Hacedor: Preguntadme de las cosas por venir; mandadme acerca de mis hijos y acerca de la obra de mis manos.

12 I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

12 Yo hice la tierra y creé sobre ella al hombre. Mis manos, o sea yo, extendieron los cielos, y a todo su ejército mandé.

13 I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts.

13 Yo lo levanté en justicia y enderezaré todos sus caminos; él edificará mi ciudad y soltará a mis cautivos, no por precio ni por soborno, dice Jehová de los ejércitos.

14 Thus saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, there is no God.

14 Así dice Jehová: El trabajo de Egipto, y las mercaderías de Etiopía y de los sabeos, hombres de gran estatura, se pasarán a ti y serán tuyos; irán en pos de ti; pasarán con grilletes y te harán reverencia; te suplicarán, diciendo: Ciertamente Dios está contigo, y no hay otro fuera de Dios.

15 Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.

15 Verdaderamente tú eres Dios que te ocultas, Dios de Israel, el Salvador.

16 They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together that are makers of idols.

16 Avergonzados y también afrentados serán todos ellos; irán con afrenta todos los talladores de imágenes.

17 But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.

17 Israel será salvo por Jehová con salvación eterna; no os avergonzaréis ni os afrentaréis por los siglos de los siglos.

18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

18 Porque así dijo Jehová, que creó los cielos; él es Dios, el que formó la tierra, el que la hizo y la estableció; no la creó en vano, sino para que fuese habitada la formó: Yo soy Jehová, y no hay ningún otro.

19 I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

19 No hablé en secreto, en un lugar oscuro de la tierra; no dije a la descendencia de Jacob: En vano me buscáis. Yo soy Jehová que hablo justicia, que anuncio rectitud.

20 Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.

20 Reuníos y venid; acercaos todos los sobrevivientes de entre las naciones. No tienen conocimiento los que erigen el madero de su imagen tallada, y los que ruegan a un dios que no salva.

21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.

21 Declarad y hacedlos acercarse; sí, deliberen juntos. ¿Quién hizo oír esto desde tiempos antiguos y lo tiene dicho desde entonces, sino yo, Jehová? Y no hay más Dios que yo, Dios justo y Salvador; no hay otro fuera de mí.

22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

22 Volveos a mí y sed salvos, todos los confines de la tierra, porque yo soy Dios, y no hay ninguno más.

23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

23 Por mí mismo hice juramento; de mi boca salió palabra en justicia y no será revocada. Que ante mí se doblará toda rodilla y jurará toda lengua.

24 Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.

24 Y se dirá de mí: Ciertamente en Jehová están la justicia y la fuerza; a él vendrán, y todos los que contra él se enardecen serán avergonzados.

25 In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

25 En Jehová será justificada y se gloriará toda la descendencia de Israel.
