1 And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber's razor, and cause it to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the hair.

1 Y tú, hijo de hombre, toma una espada aguda, toma una navaja de barbero y hazla pasar sobre tu cabeza y tu barba; toma después una balanza de pesar, y divide los pelos cortados.

2 Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.

2 Una tercera parte quemarás en el fuego en medio de la ciudad cuando se cumplan los días del asedio; y tomarás otra tercera parte y golpearás con la espada alrededor de ella; y la otra tercera parte esparcirás al viento, y yo desenvainaré la espada en pos de ellos.

3 Thou shalt also take thereof a few in number, and bind them in thy skirts.

3 Tomarás también de allí unos pocos en número y los atarás en el borde de tu manto.

4 Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; for thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.

4 Y tomarás otra vez algunos de ellos, y los echarás en medio del fuego y en el fuego los quemarás; de allí saldrá el fuego a toda la casa de Israel.

5 Thus saith the Lord GOD; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her.

5 Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: Esta es Jerusalén; la puse en medio de las naciones y de las tierras a su alrededor.

6 And she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.

6 Pero ella se ha rebelado contra mis juicios con más maldad que las naciones, y contra mis estatutos más que las naciones que están a su alrededor; porque han desechado mis juicios y no han andado en mis estatutos.

7 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you;

7 Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: Por haberos multiplicado más que las naciones que están alrededor de vosotros, no habéis andado en mis estatutos ni habéis guardado mis juicios. Ni aun según los juicios de las naciones que están alrededor de vosotros habéis hecho.

8 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.

8 Así, pues, ha dicho Jehová el Señor: He aquí, yo estoy contra ti; sí, yo, y haré juicios en medio de ti ante los ojos de las naciones.

9 And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations.

9 Y haré en ti lo que nunca hice, ni jamás haré cosa semejante, a causa de todas tus abominaciones.

10 Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of thee, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter into all the winds.

10 Por eso los padres se comerán a sus hijos en medio de ti, y los hijos se comerán a sus padres; y haré en ti juicios y esparciré a todos los vientos todo lo que quede de ti.

11 Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.

11 Por tanto, vivo yo, dice Jehová el Señor, ciertamente por haber profanado mi santuario con todas tus vilezas y con todas tus abominaciones, te quebrantaré yo también; mi ojo no perdonará ni tampoco tendré yo misericordia.

12 A third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about thee; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.

12 Una tercera parte de ti morirá de pestilencia y será consumida de hambre en medio de ti; y otra tercera parte caerá a espada alrededor de ti; y otra tercera parte esparciré a todos los vientos y tras ellos desenvainaré la espada.

13 Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the LORD have spoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them.

13 Así se consumará mi furor, y saciaré en ellos mi enojo y tomaré satisfacción; y sabrán que yo, Jehová, he hablado en mi celo, cuando consuma en ellos mi enojo.

14 Moreover I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by.

14 Y te convertiré en ruinas y en oprobio entre las naciones que están alrededor de ti, a los ojos de todo el que pase.

15 So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about thee, when I shall execute judgments in thee in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the LORD have spoken it.

15 Y serás oprobio, y escarnio, y escarmiento y espanto a las naciones que están alrededor de ti, cuando yo haga en ti juicios con furor, y con ira y con reprensiones de ira. Yo, Jehová, he hablado.

16 When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for their destruction, and which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread:

16 Cuando arroje yo sobre ellos las siniestras saetas del hambre, que serán para destrucción, las cuales enviaré para destruiros, entonces aumentaré el hambre sobre vosotros y quebrantaré vuestro sustento de pan.

17 So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee; and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee. I the LORD have spoken it.

17 Enviaré, pues, sobre vosotros hambre y bestias feroces que te dejarán sin hijos; y pestilencia y sangre pasarán por en medio de ti, y traeré sobre ti la espada. Yo, Jehová, he hablado.
