1 Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.

1 Después, me hizo volver a la entrada de la casa; y he aquí aguas brotaban de debajo del umbral de la casa hacia el oriente, porque la fachada de la casa daba al oriente; y las aguas descendían desde debajo del lado derecho de la casa, por el costado sur del altar.

2 Then brought he me out of the way of the gate northward, and led me about the way without unto the utter gate by the way that looketh eastward; and, behold, there ran out waters on the right side.

2 Y me sacó por el camino de la puerta del norte y me hizo dar la vuelta por el camino exterior, hasta la puerta exterior que mira al oriente; y he aquí, las aguas fluían del lado derecho.

3 And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles.

3 Y cuando el varón salió hacia el oriente, tenía un cordel en su mano; y midió mil codos y me hizo pasar por las aguas, con el agua hasta los tobillos.

4 Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins.

4 Y midió otros mil y me hizo pasar por las aguas, con el agua hasta las rodillas. Midió luego otros mil y me hizo pasar por las aguas, hasta los lomos.

5 Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over.

5 Y midió otros mil, y era ya un río que yo no podía pasar, porque las aguas habían crecido, y el río no se podía pasar sino a nado.

6 And he said unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen this? Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the brink of the river.

6 Y me dijo: ¿Has visto, hijo de hombre? Después me llevó y me hizo volver por la ribera del río.

7 Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other.

7 Y cuando volví, he aquí que en la ribera del río había muchísimos árboles a uno y otro lado.

8 Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.

8 Y me dijo: Estas aguas salen a la región del oriente, y descenderán al desierto y entrarán en el mar; y al entrar en el mar, las aguas serán sanadas.

9 And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.

9 Y acontecerá que toda alma viviente que nade por dondequiera que entren estos dos ríos, vivirá; y habrá muchísimos peces por haber entrado allá estas aguas, pues serán sanadas; y vivirá todo lo que entre en este río.

10 And it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand upon it from En-gedi even unto En-eglaim; they shall be a place to spread forth nets; their fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceeding many.

10 Y sucederá que junto a él habrá pescadores, y desde En-gadi hasta En-eglaim será tendedero de redes; y los peces, según su especie, serán tan abundantes como los del mar Grande.

11 But the miry places thereof and the marshes thereof shall not be healed; they shall be given to salt.

11 Sus pantanos y sus lagunas no serán sanados; quedarán para salinas.

12 And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.

12 Y junto al río, en la ribera, a uno y otro lado, crecerá toda clase de árboles frutales; sus hojas nunca caerán, ni faltará su fruto; a su tiempo madurará, porque sus aguas salen del santuario; y su fruto será para comer y sus hojas para medicina.

13 Thus saith the Lord GOD; This shall be the border, whereby ye shall inherit the land according to the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph shall have two portions.

13 Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: Estos son los límites en que repartiréis la tierra como heredad entre las doce tribus de Israel. José tendrá dos partes.

14 And ye shall inherit it, one as well as another: concerning the which I lifted up mine hand to give it unto your fathers: and this land shall fall unto you for inheritance.

14 Y la heredaréis así, tanto los unos como los otros; por ella alcé mi mano jurando que la había de dar a vuestros padres; por tanto, esta tierra será vuestra heredad.

15 And this shall be the border of the land toward the north side, from the great sea, the way of Hethlon, as men go to Zedad;

15 Y este será el límite de la tierra hacia el lado del norte: desde el mar Grande, camino de Hetlón hasta la entrada de Zedad;

16 Hamath, Berothah, Sibraim, which is between the border of Damascus and the border of Hamath; Hazar-hatticon, which is by the coast of Hauran.

16 Hamat, Berota, Sibraim, que está entre el límite de Damasco y el límite de Hamat; Hazar-haticón, que es el límite de Haurán.

17 And the border from the sea shall be Hazar-enan, the border of Damascus, and the north northward, and the border of Hamath. And this is the north side.

17 Y será el límite del norte desde el mar hasta Hazar-enán en el límite de Damasco al norte, y al límite de Hamat al lado del norte.

18 And the east side ye shall measure from Hauran, and from Damascus, and from Gilead, and from the land of Israel by Jordan, from the border unto the east sea. And this is the east side.

18 Al lado del oriente, en medio de Haurán y de Damasco, y de Galaad y de la tierra de Israel, al Jordán; esto mediréis como límite hasta el mar del oriente; este es el lado oriental.

19 And the south side southward, from Tamar even to the waters of strife in Kadesh, the river to the great sea. And this is the south side southward.

19 Y al lado del sur, hacia el sur, desde Tamar hasta las aguas de las rencillas; desde Cades hacia el arroyo y hasta el mar Grande; y este será el lado sur, al sur.

20 The west side also shall be the great sea from the border, till a man come over against Hamath. This is the west side.

20 Y al lado del occidente el mar Grande será el límite hasta enfrente de la entrada a Hamat; este será el lado del occidente.

21 So shall ye divide this land unto you according to the tribes of Israel.

21 Repartiréis, pues, esta tierra entre vosotros según las tribus de Israel.

22 And it shall come to pass, that ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you, and to the strangers that sojourn among you, which shall beget children among you: and they shall be unto you as born in the country among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.

22 Y sucederá que echaréis sobre ella suertes por heredad para vosotros y para los extranjeros que moran entre vosotros, que entre vosotros han engendrado hijos; y los tendréis como nativos entre los hijos de Israel; echarán suertes con vosotros para tener heredad entre las tribus de Israel.

23 And it shall come to pass, that in what tribe the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye give him his inheritance, saith the Lord GOD.

23 Y acontecerá que en la tribu en que more el extranjero, allí le daréis su heredad, ha dicho Jehová el Señor.
