1 Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east:

1 Me llevó luego a la puerta, a la puerta que mira hacia el oriente,

2 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory.

2 y he aquí, la gloria del Dios de Israel que venía del oriente; y su voz era como el sonido de muchas aguas, y la tierra resplandecía a causa de su gloria.

3 And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.

3 Y el aspecto de lo que vi era como una visión, como aquella visión que vi cuando vine para destruir la ciudad; y las visiones eran como la visión que vi junto al río Quebar; y me postré sobre mi rostro.

4 And the glory of the LORD came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.

4 Y la gloria de Jehová entró en la casa por la vía de la puerta que daba al oriente.

5 So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house.

5 Y me alzó el espíritu y me llevó al atrio interior; y he aquí que la gloria de Jehová llenó la casa.

6 And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me.

6 Y oí a alguien que me hablaba desde la casa, y un varón estaba junto a mí.

7 And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.

7 Y me dijo: Hijo de hombre, este es el lugar de mi trono y el lugar de las plantas de mis pies, en el cual habitaré entre los hijos de Israel para siempre; y nunca más profanará la casa de Israel mi santo nombre, ni ellos ni sus reyes, con sus fornicaciones ni con los cuerpos muertos de sus reyes en sus lugares altos,

8 In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.

8 poniendo ellos su umbral junto a mi umbral y su poste junto a mi poste, mediando solo una pared entre yo y ellos; profanaron mi santo nombre con las abominaciones que hicieron; por tanto, los consumí en mi furor.

9 Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.

9 Ahora echarán lejos de mí su fornicación y los cuerpos muertos de sus reyes, y habitaré en medio de ellos para siempre.

10 Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.

10 Tú, hijo de hombre, muestra a la casa de Israel esta casa, para que se avergüencen de sus iniquidades y midan el diseño de ella.

11 And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.

11 Y si se avergüenzan de todo lo que han hecho, hazles entender la forma de la casa, y su disposición, y sus salidas y sus entradas, y todas sus formas, y todos sus estatutos, y todas sus configuraciones y todas sus leyes; y escribe esto delante de sus ojos, para que guarden toda su forma y todos sus estatutos y los pongan por obra.

12 This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.

12 Esta es la ley de la casa: Sobre la cumbre del monte, todo su contorno será santísimo. He aquí que esta es la ley de la casa.

13 And these are the measures of the altar after the cubits: The cubit is a cubit and an hand breadth; even the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about shall be a span: and this shall be the higher place of the altar.

13 Y estas son las medidas del altar por codos (cada codo de un codo y un palmo): La base, de un codo, y de un codo el ancho; y su remate por su borde alrededor, de un palmo. Esta será la parte alta del altar.

14 And from the bottom upon the ground even to the lower settle shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser settle even to the greater settle shall be four cubits, and the breadth one cubit.

14 Y desde la base, sobre el suelo, hasta el saliente inferior, dos codos, y la anchura de un codo; y desde el saliente menor hasta el saliente mayor, cuatro codos, y la anchura de un codo.

15 So the altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar and upward shall be four horns.

15 Y el altar era de cuatro codos, y encima del altar había cuatro cuernos.

16 And the altar shall be twelve cubits long, twelve broad, square in the four squares thereof.

16 Y el altar tenía doce codos de largo y doce de ancho, cuadrado por sus cuatro lados.

17 And the settle shall be fourteen cubits long and fourteen broad in the four squares thereof; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the bottom thereof shall be a cubit about; and his stairs shall look toward the east.

17 Y el saliente era de catorce codos de longitud y de catorce de anchura en sus cuatro lados, y de medio codo el borde alrededor; y la base era de un codo por cada lado, y sus gradas daban al oriente.

18 And he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.

18 Y me dijo: Hijo de hombre, así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: Estos son los estatutos con respecto al altar el día en que sea hecho, para ofrecer holocausto sobre él y para esparcir sangre sobre él.

19 And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord GOD, a young bullock for a sin offering.

19 Darás a los sacerdotes levitas que son del linaje de Sadoc, que se acercan a mí para servirme, dice Jehová el Señor, un becerro de la vacada para la ofrenda por el pecado.

20 And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse and purge it.

20 Y tomarás de su sangre y la pondrás en los cuatro cuernos del altar, y en las cuatro esquinas del saliente y en el borde todo alrededor; así lo purificarás y harás expiación por él.

21 Thou shalt take the bullock also of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary.

21 Tomarás luego el becerro de la ofrenda por el pecado, y será quemado en el lugar indicado de la casa, fuera del santuario.

22 And on the second day thou shalt offer a kid of the goats without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they did cleanse it with the bullock.

22 Y al segundo día ofrecerás un macho cabrío sin defecto para la ofrenda por el pecado; y purificarán el altar como lo purificaron con el becerro.

23 When thou hast made an end of cleansing it, thou shalt offer a young bullock without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish.

23 Cuando acabes de purificarlo, ofrecerás un becerro sin defecto de la vacada y un carnero sin defecto del rebaño;

24 And thou shalt offer them before the LORD, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering unto the LORD.

24 y los ofrecerás delante de Jehová, y los sacerdotes echarán sal sobre ellos y los ofrecerán en holocausto a Jehová.

25 Seven days shalt thou prepare every day a goat for a sin offering: they shall also prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish.

25 Durante siete días prepararás un macho cabrío cada día, para la ofrenda por el pecado; asimismo, prepararán un becerro de la vacada y un carnero sin defecto del rebaño.

26 Seven days shall they purge the altar and purify it; and they shall consecrate themselves.

26 Durante siete días harán expiación por el altar, y lo purificarán, y así ellos se consagrarán.

27 And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD.

27 Y acabados estos días, del octavo día en adelante, los sacerdotes sacrificarán sobre el altar vuestros holocaustos y vuestras ofrendas de paz; y me seréis aceptos, dice Jehová el Señor.
