1 Thou also, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and portray upon it the city, even Jerusalem:

1 Y tú, hijo de hombre, toma un adobe, y ponlo delante de ti y graba sobre él una ciudad: Jerusalén.

2 And lay siege against it, and build a fort against it, and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it, and set battering rams against it round about.

2 Y pondrás sitio contra ella, y construirás contra ella un muro de asedio, y levantarás contra ella un terraplén, y asentarás delante de ella campamento y colocarás contra ella arietes alrededor.

3 Moreover take thou unto thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy face against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.

3 Toma también una plancha de hierro y ponla como muro de hierro entre tú y la ciudad; y pon tu rostro contra ella, y quedará bajo asedio, y tú la sitiarás. Esto será una señal para la casa de Israel.

4 Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity.

4 Y tú te acostarás sobre tu lado izquierdo y pondrás sobre él la iniquidad de la casa de Israel; el número de los días que estés acostado sobre él, llevarás sobre ti la iniquidad de ellos.

5 For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.

5 Yo te he dado los años de su iniquidad según el número de los días: trescientos noventa días; y así llevarás tú la iniquidad de la casa de Israel.

6 And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.

6 Y cumplidos estos, te acostarás sobre tu lado derecho por segunda vez, y llevarás la iniquidad de la casa de Judá cuarenta días; un día por año, un día por año te he fijado.

7 Therefore thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thine arm shall be uncovered, and thou shalt prophesy against it.

7 Y al asedio de Jerusalén pondrás tu rostro, y descubierto tu brazo, profetizarás contra ella.

8 And, behold, I will lay bands upon thee, and thou shalt not turn thee from one side to another, till thou hast ended the days of thy siege.

8 Y he aquí, he puesto sobre ti ataduras, y no te volverás de un lado al otro hasta que hayas cumplido los días de tu asedio.

9 Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof.

9 Y tú toma para ti trigo, y cebada, y habas, y lentejas, y mijo y avena, y ponlos en una vasija; y hazte pan de ellos, según el número de los días que te acuestes sobre tu lado; trescientos noventa días comerás de él.

10 And thy meat which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shalt thou eat it.

10 Y la comida que comerás será de peso de veinte siclos al día; de tiempo en tiempo la comerás.

11 Thou shalt drink also water by measure, the sixth part of an hin: from time to time shalt thou drink.

11 Y beberás el agua por medida, la sexta parte de un hin; de tiempo en tiempo la beberás.

12 And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight.

12 Y comerás pan de cebada que cocerás sobre excremento humano a la vista de ellos.

13 And the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will drive them.

13 Y dijo Jehová: Así comerán los hijos de Israel su pan inmundo, entre las naciones adonde yo los arrojaré.

14 Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.

14 Y dije: ¡Ah, Señor, Jehová! He aquí que mi alma no es impura, ni nunca desde mi juventud hasta este tiempo he comido animal que haya encontrado muerto ni despedazado, ni nunca ha entrado en mi boca carne inmunda.

15 Then he said unto me, Lo, I have given thee cow's dung for man's dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread therewith.

15 Y me respondió: He aquí, te permito usar estiércol de bueyes en lugar de excremento humano para cocer tu pan.

16 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment:

16 Me dijo luego: Hijo de hombre, he aquí, quebrantaré el sustento de pan en Jerusalén; y comerán el pan por peso y con angustia, y beberán el agua por medida y con terror,

17 That they may want bread and water, and be astonied one with another, and consume away for their iniquity.

17 para que, al faltarles el pan y el agua, se aterroricen unos a otros y se consuman en su maldad.
