1 Also, thou son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD:

1 Y tú, hijo de hombre, profetiza a los montes de Israel, y di: Montes de Israel, oíd la palabra de Jehová:

2 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession:

2 Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: Por cuanto el enemigo dijo de vosotros: ¡Ajá!, también las alturas eternas nos han sido dadas por heredad;

3 Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people:

3 profetiza, por tanto, y di: Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: Por cuanto os asolaron y os tragaron de todas partes, para que fueseis posesión de las demás naciones, y se os ha hecho andar en boca de habladores y ser el oprobio de los pueblos,

4 Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about;

4 por tanto, oh montes de Israel, oíd la palabra de Jehová el Señor: Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor a los montes y a los collados, a los arroyos y a los valles, a las ruinas desoladas y a las ciudades abandonadas, que vinieron a ser presa y escarnio de las otras naciones de su alrededor,

5 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey.

5 por eso, así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: Ciertamente en el fuego de mi celo he hablado contra las demás naciones y contra todo Edom, que se tomaron mi tierra como posesión con alegría de corazón y con despecho de ánimo, para dejarla expuesta como presa.

6 Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the shame of the heathen:

6 Por tanto, profetiza sobre la tierra de Israel y di a los montes y a los collados, y a los arroyos y a los valles: Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: He aquí, en mi celo y en mi furor he hablado, por cuanto habéis cargado con el oprobio de las naciones.

7 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the heathen that are about you, they shall bear their shame.

7 Por lo cual, así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: Yo he alzado mi mano; ciertamente las naciones que están a vuestro alrededor han de llevar su propia afrenta.

8 But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come.

8 Pero vosotros, oh montes de Israel, daréis vuestras ramas y llevaréis vuestro fruto para mi pueblo Israel, porque están a punto de llegar.

9 For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown:

9 Porque he aquí, yo estoy por vosotros y a vosotros me volveré, y seréis labrados y sembrados.

10 And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be builded:

10 Y haré que se multipliquen los hombres sobre vosotros, a toda la casa de Israel, a toda ella; y las ciudades serán habitadas, y serán reedificadas las ruinas.

11 And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

11 Y multiplicaré sobre vosotros hombres y animales, y serán multiplicados y fructificarán; y os haré morar como solíais hacerlo antiguamente, y os haré mayor bien que en vuestros principios; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.

12 Yea, I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of men.

12 Y haré andar hombres sobre vosotros, a mi pueblo Israel; y te poseerán, y les serás heredad y nunca más los privarás de hijos.

13 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they say unto you, Thou land devourest up men, and hast bereaved thy nations;

13 Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: Por cuanto dicen de vosotros: Devoras hombres y privas de hijos a tu nación;

14 Therefore thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave thy nations any more, saith the Lord GOD.

14 por tanto, no devorarás más hombres, y nunca más privarás de hijos a tu nación, dice Jehová el Señor.

15 Neither will I cause men to hear in thee the shame of the heathen any more, neither shalt thou bear the reproach of the people any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nations to fall any more, saith the Lord GOD.

15 Y nunca más te haré oír injuria de las naciones, ni cargarás más con el reproche de los pueblos ni privarás más de hijos a tu nación, dice Jehová el Señor.

16 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

16 Y vino a mí la palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

17 Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman.

17 Hijo de hombre, cuando los de la casa de Israel habitaban en su tierra, la contaminaron con sus caminos y con sus obras; como la impureza de mujer menstruosa fue su camino delante de mí.

18 Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it:

18 Y derramé mi ira sobre ellos por la sangre que derramaron sobre la tierra, porque con sus ídolos la contaminaron.

19 And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.

19 Y los esparcí por las naciones, y fueron dispersados por las tierras; conforme a sus caminos y conforme a sus obras los juzgué.

20 And when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of his land.

20 Y cuando llegaron a las naciones adonde fueron, profanaron mi santo nombre, al decirse de ellos: Estos son el pueblo de Jehová, y de la tierra de él han salido.

21 But I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the heathen, whither they went.

21 Y he sentido lástima por mi santo nombre, el cual profanó la casa de Israel entre las naciones adonde fueron.

22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.

22 Por tanto, di a la casa de Israel: Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: No lo hago por vosotros, oh casa de Israel, sino por causa de mi santo nombre, el cual profanasteis vosotros entre las naciones adonde habéis llegado.

23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

23 Y santificaré mi gran nombre, profanado entre las naciones, el cual profanasteis vosotros en medio de ellas; y sabrán las naciones que yo soy Jehová, dice Jehová el Señor, cuando sea santificado en vosotros delante de sus ojos.

24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

24 Y yo os tomaré de las naciones, y os recogeré de todos los países y os traeré a vuestra propia tierra.

25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

25 Y esparciré sobre vosotros agua limpia, y seréis purificados de todas vuestras impurezas; y de todos vuestros ídolos os limpiaré.

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

26 Y os daré un corazón nuevo y pondré un espíritu nuevo dentro de vosotros; y quitaré de vuestra carne el corazón de piedra y os daré un corazón de carne.

27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

27 Y pondré dentro de vosotros mi espíritu, y haré que andéis en mis estatutos y que guardéis mis juicios y los pongáis por obra.

28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

28 Y habitaréis en la tierra que di a vuestros padres; y vosotros seréis mi pueblo, y yo seré vuestro Dios.

29 I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.

29 Y os salvaré de todas vuestras impurezas; y llamaré al trigo y lo multiplicaré, y no os traeré el hambre.

30 And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.

30 Multiplicaré asimismo el fruto de los árboles y el fruto de los campos, para que nunca más recibáis el oprobio del hambre entre las naciones.

31 Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.

31 Y os acordaréis de vuestros malos caminos y de vuestras obras que no fueron buenas, y os aborreceréis a vosotros mismos por vuestras iniquidades y por vuestras abominaciones.

32 Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.

32 No lo hago por vosotros, dice Jehová el Señor; sabedlo bien; avergonzaos y turbaos por causa de vuestros caminos, oh casa de Israel.

33 Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded.

33 Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: El día en que os purifique de todas vuestras iniquidades, haré también que sean habitadas las ciudades, y las ruinas serán reedificadas.

34 And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.

34 Y la tierra desolada será labrada, en lugar de ser la desolación que había sido ante los ojos de todos los que pasaban.

35 And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.

35 Y dirán: Esta tierra desolada se ha convertido en un huerto de Edén; y estas ciudades que se hallaban desiertas, y desoladas y arruinadas ya están fortificadas y habitadas.

36 Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.

36 Y las naciones que queden en vuestros alrededores sabrán que yo reedifiqué lo que estaba derribado, y planté lo que estaba desolado; yo, Jehová, he hablado y lo haré.

37 Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.

37 Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: Aún seré solicitado por la casa de Israel para hacerles esto; aumentaré los hombres como se aumentan los rebaños.

38 As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

38 Como el rebaño santo, como el rebaño de Jerusalén en sus fiestas solemnes, así las ciudades desiertas estarán llenas de rebaños de hombres. Y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.
