1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

1 Y vino a mí la palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

2 Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

2 Hijo de hombre, profetiza contra los pastores de Israel; profetiza y di a los pastores: Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: ¡Ay de los pastores de Israel que se apacientan a sí mismos! ¿No deben los pastores apacentar a los rebaños?

3 Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock.

3 Coméis la grosura y os vestís de la lana; matáis a la oveja engordada, pero no apacentáis al rebaño.

4 The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them.

4 No fortalecisteis a las débiles ni curasteis a la enferma; no vendasteis a la perniquebrada, ni hicisteis volver a la descarriada ni buscasteis a la perdida, sino que os habéis enseñoreado de ellas con violencia y con severidad.

5 And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.

5 Y han sido dispersadas por falta de pastor, y han llegado a ser comida de toda fiera del campo y han sido dispersadas.

6 My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.

6 Anduvieron perdidas mis ovejas por todos los montes y en todo collado alto; y por toda la faz de la tierra fueron dispersadas mis ovejas, y no hubo quien las buscase ni quien preguntase por ellas.

7 Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;

7 Por tanto, pastores, oíd la palabra de Jehová:

8 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;

8 Vivo yo, ha dicho Jehová el Señor, que por cuanto mi rebaño fue para ser presa, y mis ovejas llegaron a ser comida de toda fiera del campo, porque no había pastor; y mis pastores no buscaron a mis ovejas, sino que los pastores se apacentaron a sí mismos y no apacentaron a mis ovejas,

9 Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;

9 por tanto, oh pastores, oíd la palabra de Jehová:

10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.

10 Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: He aquí, yo estoy contra los pastores, y exigiré mis ovejas de su mano y haré que dejen de apacentar a las ovejas; y ya no se apacentarán más los pastores a sí mismos, pues yo libraré a mis ovejas de sus bocas, y no les serán más por comida.

11 For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.

11 Porque así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: He aquí, yo, yo mismo buscaré a mis ovejas y las reconoceré.

12 As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.

12 Como reconoce a su rebaño el pastor el día en que está en medio de sus ovejas dispersadas, así reconoceré a mis ovejas y las libraré de todos los lugares en que fueron dispersadas un día nublado y oscuro.

13 And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.

13 Y yo las sacaré de los pueblos y las juntaré de las tierras; y las traeré a su propia tierra y las apacentaré en los montes de Israel, por las riberas y en todos los lugares habitados del país.

14 I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.

14 En buenos pastos las apacentaré, y en los altos montes de Israel estará su redil; allí dormirán en buen redil, y con ricos pastos serán apacentadas sobre los montes de Israel.

15 I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord GOD.

15 Yo apacentaré a mis ovejas y yo las haré recostar, dice Jehová el Señor.

16 I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.

16 Yo buscaré a la oveja perdida, y haré volver a la descarriada, y vendaré a la perniquebrada y fortaleceré a la débil; pero a la engordada y a la fuerte destruiré. Yo las apacentaré con justicia.

17 And as for you, O my flock, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats.

17 Mas en cuanto a vosotras, ovejas mías, así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: He aquí, yo juzgo entre oveja y oveja, entre carneros y machos cabríos.

18 Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but ye must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet?

18 ¿No os basta con comer los buenos pastos, sino que también holláis con vuestros pies lo que de vuestros pastos queda, y con beber las aguas claras, sino que enturbiáis además con vuestros pies las que quedan?

19 And as for my flock, they eat that which ye have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which ye have fouled with your feet.

19 Y mis ovejas comen lo que vuestros pies han hollado y beben lo que con vuestros pies habéis enturbiado.

20 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle.

20 Por tanto, así les dice Jehová el Señor: He aquí, yo, yo mismo juzgaré entre la oveja engordada y la oveja flaca.

21 Because ye have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till ye have scattered them abroad;

21 Por cuanto empujasteis con el costado y con el hombro, y acorneasteis con vuestros cuernos a todas las débiles, hasta que las dispersasteis lejos,

22 Therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle.

22 yo salvaré a mis ovejas, y nunca más servirán de presa; y juzgaré entre oveja y oveja.

23 And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

23 Y levantaré sobre ellas a un pastor, y él las apacentará: mi siervo David; él las apacentará y él será su pastor.

24 And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it.

24 Yo, Jehová, seré su Dios, y mi siervo David será príncipe en medio de ellos. Yo, Jehová, he hablado.

25 And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.

25 Y haré con ellos un convenio de paz y exterminaré de la tierra las fieras; y habitarán en el desierto con seguridad y dormirán en los bosques.

26 And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.

26 Y haré de ellos y de los alrededores de mi collado una bendición; y haré descender la lluvia en su tiempo, lluvias de bendición serán.

27 And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them.

27 Y el árbol del campo dará su fruto, y la tierra dará su fruto, y estarán sobre su tierra con seguridad; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, cuando rompa las coyundas de su yugo y los libre de manos de los que se sirven de ellos.

28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid.

28 Y no serán más presa de las naciones, ni las fieras de la tierra los devorarán, sino que habitarán con seguridad, y no habrá quien los espante;

29 And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more.

29 y levantaré para ellos un plantío de renombre, y nunca más serán consumidos por el hambre en la tierra ni serán más avergonzados por las naciones.

30 Thus shall they know that I the LORD their God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Lord GOD.

30 Y sabrán que yo, Jehová, su Dios, estoy con ellos, y que ellos son mi pueblo, la casa de Israel, dice Jehová el Señor.

31 And ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord GOD.

31 Y vosotras, ovejas mías, ovejas de mi prado, hombres sois, y yo soy vuestro Dios, dice Jehová el Señor.
