1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

1 Y vino a mí la palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

2 Now, thou son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus;

2 Y tú, hijo de hombre, levanta lamento sobre Tiro.

3 And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfect beauty.

3 Y di a Tiro, que está asentada a las orillas del mar, la que comercia con los pueblos de muchas costas: Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: Tiro, tú has dicho: Yo soy de perfecta hermosura.

4 Thy borders are in the midst of the seas, thy builders have perfected thy beauty.

4 En el corazón de los mares están tus límites; los que te edificaron perfeccionaron tu belleza.

5 They have made all thy ship boards of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for thee.

5 De los cipreses de Senir te fabricaron todo el entablado; tomaron un cedro del Líbano para hacerte el mástil.

6 Of the oaks of Bashan have they made thine oars; the company of the Ashurites have made thy benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim.

6 De encinas de Basán hicieron tus remos; compañía de asirios hicieron tus bancos de marfil de las islas de Quitim.

7 Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which thou spreadest forth to be thy sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered thee.

7 De lino fino bordado de Egipto era tu vela, para que te sirviese de estandarte; de azul y púrpura de las costas de Elisa era tu pabellón.

8 The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy mariners: thy wise men, O Tyrus, that were in thee, were thy pilots.

8 Los moradores de Sidón y de Arvad fueron tus remeros; tus sabios, oh Tiro, estaban en ti; ellos fueron tus pilotos.

9 The ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupy thy merchandise.

9 Los ancianos de Gebal y sus sabios reparaban tus hendiduras; todas las naves del mar y los navegantes de ellas fueron a ti para negociar tus mercancías.

10 They of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in thine army, thy men of war: they hanged the shield and helmet in thee; they set forth thy comeliness.

10 Los de Persia y los de Fut eran en tu ejército tus hombres de guerra; escudos y yelmos colgaron en ti; ellos te dieron tu esplendor.

11 The men of Arvad with thine army were upon thy walls round about, and the Gammadims were in thy towers: they hanged their shields upon thy walls round about; they have made thy beauty perfect.

11 Y los hijos de Arvad con tu ejército estaban sobre tus muros alrededor, y los gamadeos estaban en tus torres; sus escudos colgaban sobre tus muros alrededor; ellos perfeccionaron tu hermosura.

12 Tarshish was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in thy fairs.

12 Tarsis comerciaba contigo por la abundancia de toda riqueza, con plata, hierro, estaño y plomo, a cambio de tus mercaderías.

13 Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were thy merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in thy market.

13 Javán, Tubal y Mesec eran tus mercaderes; con hombres y con utensilios de bronce comerciaban en tus ferias.

14 They of the house of Togarmah traded in thy fairs with horses and horsemen and mules.

14 Los de la casa de Togarma comerciaban con caballos, y con corceles y con mulos a cambio de tus mercaderías.

15 The men of Dedan were thy merchants; many isles were the merchandise of thine hand: they brought thee for a present horns of ivory and ebony.

15 Los hijos de Dedán eran tus mercaderes; muchas islas tomaban mercadería de tu mano; colmillos de marfil y ébano te dieron como presente.

16 Syria was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of the wares of thy making: they occupied in thy fairs with emeralds, purple, and broidered work, and fine linen, and coral, and agate.

16 Siria comerciaba contigo por la abundancia de tus productos, con turquesas, púrpura, y bordados, y lino fino, y corales y piedras preciosas, a cambio de tus mercaderías.

17 Judah, and the land of Israel, they were thy merchants: they traded in thy market wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm.

17 Judá y la tierra de Israel eran tus mercaderes; con trigo de Minit y Panag, y miel, y aceite y bálsamo comerciaban en tu mercado.

18 Damascus was thy merchant in the multitude of the wares of thy making, for the multitude of all riches; in the wine of Helbon, and white wool.

18 Damasco era tu mercader por la abundancia de tus productos, por la abundancia de toda riqueza, por el vino de Helbón y la lana blanca.

19 Dan also and Javan going to and fro occupied in thy fairs: bright iron, cassia, and calamus, were in thy market.

19 Asimismo Dan y Javán iban y venían a tus ferias para negociar en tu mercado con hierro forjado, casia y caña aromática.

20 Dedan was thy merchant in precious clothes for chariots.

20 Dedán era tu mercader con paños preciosos para carros.

21 Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with thee in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these were they thy merchants.

21 Arabia y todos los príncipes de Cedar comerciaban contigo con corderos, y carneros y machos cabríos; en estas cosas eran tus mercaderes.

22 The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, they were thy merchants: they occupied in thy fairs with chief of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold.

22 Los mercaderes de Sabá y de Raama comerciaban contigo con lo principal de toda especiería, y con toda piedra preciosa y oro a cambio de tus mercaderías.

23 Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Asshur, and Chilmad, were thy merchants.

23 Harán, y Cane y Edén, los mercaderes de Sabá, de Asiria y de Quilmad eran tus mercaderes.

24 These were thy merchants in all sorts of things, in blue clothes, and broidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among thy merchandise.

24 Estos eran tus mercaderes en cosas lujosas: en mantos de azul y bordados, y en cajas de ropas preciosas, enlazadas con cordones y en madera de cedro.

25 The ships of Tarshish did sing of thee in thy market: and thou wast replenished, and made very glorious in the midst of the seas.

25 Las naves de Tarsis transportaban tu mercancía; y quedaste repleta y fuiste multiplicada en gran manera en medio de los mares.

26 Thy rowers have brought thee into great waters: the east wind hath broken thee in the midst of the seas.

26 A muchas aguas te llevaron tus remeros; el viento solano te quebrantó en medio de los mares.

27 Thy riches, and thy fairs, thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and the occupiers of thy merchandise, and all thy men of war, that are in thee, and in all thy company which is in the midst of thee, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of thy ruin.

27 Tus riquezas, y tus productos, y tu mercadería, tus navegantes, y tus pilotos, los reparadores de tus hendiduras, y los negociantes de tus mercancías y todos los hombres de guerra que tú tienes, con toda la gente que en medio de ti se halla, caerán en medio de los mares el día de tu caída.

28 The suburbs shall shake at the sound of the cry of thy pilots.

28 Al estrépito de las voces de tus pilotos temblarán los campos de alrededor.

29 And all that handle the oar, the mariners, and all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land;

29 Y descenderán de sus naves todos los que toman remo; los navegantes y todos los pilotos del mar se quedarán en tierra;

30 And shall cause their voice to be heard against thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall wallow themselves in the ashes:

30 y harán oír su voz contra ti, y gritarán amargamente, y echarán polvo sobre sus cabezas y se revolcarán en ceniza.

31 And they shall make themselves utterly bald for thee, and gird them with sackcloth, and they shall weep for thee with bitterness of heart and bitter wailing.

31 Y se raparán por ti la cabeza, y se ceñirán de cilicio y llorarán por ti con amargura del alma, con gemidos amargos.

32 And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea?

32 Y entre gemidos entonarán lamentaciones por ti; y se lamentarán por ti, diciendo: ¿Quién como Tiro, como la destruida en medio del mar?

33 When thy wares went forth out of the seas, thou filledst many people; thou didst enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude of thy riches and of thy merchandise.

33 Cuando tus productos salían de las naves, saciabas a muchos pueblos; a los reyes de la tierra enriqueciste con la multitud de tus riquezas y de tus mercancías.

34 In the time when thou shalt be broken by the seas in the depths of the waters thy merchandise and all thy company in the midst of thee shall fall.

34 En el tiempo en que seas quebrantada por los mares en las profundidades de las aguas, tu mercancía y toda tu gente caerán en medio de ti.

35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore afraid, they shall be troubled in their countenance.

35 Todos los moradores de las costas estarán atónitos a causa de ti, y sus reyes temblarán de espanto; se demudará su rostro.

36 The merchants among the people shall hiss at thee; thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt be any more.

36 Los mercaderes entre los pueblos se burlarán de ti; vendrás a ser objeto de espanto y para siempre dejarás de ser.
