1 Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.

1 Y miré, y he aquí, en el firmamento que estaba sobre la cabeza de los querubines había como una piedra de zafiro, que tenía el aspecto de un trono que apareció sobre ellos.

2 And he spake unto the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels, even under the cherub, and fill thine hand with coals of fire from between the cherubims, and scatter them over the city. And he went in in my sight.

2 Y habló al varón vestido de lino y le dijo: Entra en medio de las ruedas, debajo de los querubines, y llena tus manos de carbones encendidos de entre los querubines y espárcelos sobre la ciudad. Y entró, viéndolo yo.

3 Now the cherubims stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.

3 Y los querubines estaban a la mano derecha de la casa cuando este varón entró; y la nube llenaba el atrio interior.

4 Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD's glory.

4 Entonces la gloria de Jehová se elevó de encima del querubín hacia el umbral de la casa; y la casa se llenó de la nube, y el atrio se llenó del resplandor de la gloria de Jehová.

5 And the sound of the cherubims' wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when he speaketh.

5 Y el estruendo de las alas de los querubines se oía hasta el atrio exterior, como la voz del Dios Omnipotente cuando habla.

6 And it came to pass, that when he had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubims; then he went in, and stood beside the wheels.

6 Y aconteció que cuando mandó al varón vestido de lino, diciendo: Toma fuego de entre las ruedas, de entre los querubines, él entró y se detuvo entre las ruedas.

7 And one cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubims unto the fire that was between the cherubims, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of him that was clothed with linen: who took it, and went out.

7 Y un querubín extendió su mano de en medio de los querubines hacia el fuego que estaba entre los querubines, y tomó de él y lo puso en las manos del que estaba vestido de lino, el cual lo tomó y salió.

8 And there appeared in the cherubims the form of a man's hand under their wings.

8 Y apareció en los querubines la figura de una mano de hombre debajo de sus alas.

9 And when I looked, behold the four wheels by the cherubims, one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub: and the appearance of the wheels was as the colour of a beryl stone.

9 Y miré, y he aquí, cuatro ruedas junto a los querubines, una rueda junto a cada querubín, y el aspecto de las ruedas era como el de piedra de jaspe.

10 And as for their appearances, they four had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the midst of a wheel.

10 En cuanto a su apariencia, las cuatro eran de una misma forma, como si una rueda estuviera en medio de otra.

11 When they went, they went upon their four sides; they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the head looked they followed it; they turned not as they went.

11 Cuando andaban, hacia sus cuatro costados andaban; no se desviaban cuando andaban, sino que al lugar adonde la cabeza se dirigía, en pos de ella iban; no se desviaban cuando andaban.

12 And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes round about, even the wheels that they four had.

12 Y todo su cuerpo, y sus espaldas, y sus manos, y sus alas y las ruedas, las ruedas de los cuatro, estaban llenas de ojos alrededor.

13 As for the wheels, it was cried unto them in my hearing, O wheel.

13 A las ruedas, oyéndolo yo, se las llamaba: ¡Rueda!

14 And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.

14 Y cada uno tenía cuatro caras. La primera cara era de querubín; y la segunda cara, de hombre; y la tercera cara, de león; y la cuarta cara, de águila.

15 And the cherubims were lifted up. This is the living creature that I saw by the river of Chebar.

15 Y se levantaron los querubines; este es el ser viviente que vi en el río Quebar.

16 And when the cherubims went, the wheels went by them: and when the cherubims lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also turned not from beside them.

16 Y cuando andaban los querubines, andaban las ruedas junto con ellos; y cuando los querubines alzaban sus alas para elevarse de la tierra, las ruedas no se apartaban de ellos.

17 When they stood, these stood; and when they were lifted up, these lifted up themselves also: for the spirit of the living creature was in them.

17 Cuando se detenían ellos, se detenían ellas, y cuando ellos se elevaban, se elevaban con ellos, porque el espíritu del ser viviente estaba en ellas.

18 Then the glory of the LORD departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims.

18 Entonces la gloria de Jehová salió de sobre el umbral de la casa y se puso sobre los querubines.

19 And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every one stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD's house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

19 Y alzando los querubines sus alas, se elevaron de la tierra delante de mis ojos; cuando ellos salieron, también salieron las ruedas que estaban con ellos; y se detuvieron a la entrada de la puerta oriental de la casa de Jehová, y la gloria del Dios de Israel estaba por encima, sobre ellos.

20 This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river of Chebar; and I knew that they were the cherubims.

20 Este era el ser viviente que vi debajo del Dios de Israel en el río Quebar; y me di cuenta de que eran querubines.

21 Every one had four faces apiece, and every one four wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.

21 Cada uno tenía cuatro caras y cada uno cuatro alas, y figuras de manos humanas debajo de sus alas.

22 And the likeness of their faces was the same faces which I saw by the river of Chebar, their appearances and themselves: they went every one straight forward.

22 Y la semejanza de sus caras era la de las caras que vi junto al río Quebar, su misma apariencia y su ser; cada uno caminaba derecho hacia delante.
