1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest.

1 Y Jehová dijo a Moisés: Labra dos tablas de piedra como las primeras, y escribiré sobre esas tablas las palabras que estaban en las tablas primeras que quebraste.

2 And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present thyself there to me in the top of the mount.

2 Prepárate, pues, para mañana, y por la mañana sube al monte Sinaí, y allí preséntate ante mí sobre la cumbre del monte.

3 And no man shall come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount.

3 Y no suba nadie contigo, ni aparezca ninguno en todo el monte; ni ovejas ni bueyes pasten delante del monte.

4 And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone.

4 Y Moisés labró dos tablas de piedra como las primeras; y se levantó de mañana, y subió al monte Sinaí, como le mandó Jehová, y llevó en su mano las dos tablas de piedra.

5 And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.

5 Y Jehová descendió en la nube y estuvo allí con él, proclamando el nombre de Jehová.

6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,

6 Y pasando Jehová por delante de él, proclamó: Jehová, Jehová, Dios misericordioso y piadoso, tardo para la ira y abundante en benignidad y verdad,

7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

7 que guarda la misericordia a millares, que perdona la iniquidad, la transgresión y el pecado, pero que de ningún modo tendrá por inocente al malvado; que castiga la iniquidad de los padres sobre los hijos y sobre los hijos de los hijos, hasta la tercera y la cuarta generación.

8 And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.

8 Entonces Moisés, apresurándose, bajó la cabeza hacia el suelo y adoró,

9 And he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O Lord, let my Lord, I pray thee, go among us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance.

9 diciendo: Si ahora, Señor, he hallado gracia ante tus ojos, vaya ahora el Señor en medio de nosotros, porque este es pueblo de dura cerviz; y perdona nuestra iniquidad y nuestro pecado, y tómanos como herencia tuya.

10 And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.

10 Y él dijo: He aquí, yo hago convenio; delante de todo tu pueblo haré maravillas que no han sido hechas en toda la tierra ni en nación alguna; y verá todo el pueblo, en medio del cual estás tú, la obra de Jehová, porque será cosa asombrosa la que yo haré contigo.

11 Observe thou that which I command thee this day: behold, I drive out before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

11 Guarda lo que yo te mando hoy; he aquí que yo echo de delante de tu presencia al amorreo, y al cananeo, y al heteo, y al ferezeo, y al heveo y al jebuseo.

12 Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:

12 Guárdate de hacer alianza con los moradores de la tierra donde has de entrar, para que no sean por tropezadero en medio de ti.

13 But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves:

13 Mas derribaréis sus altares, y quebraréis sus estatuas y destruiréis sus imágenes de Asera.

14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:

14 Porque no te inclinarás ante ningún otro dios, porque Jehová, cuyo nombre es Celoso, Dios celoso es.

15 Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;

15 Por tanto, no harás alianza con los moradores de aquella tierra, porque se prostituirán en pos de sus dioses, y ofrecerán sacrificios a sus dioses, y te invitarán, y comerás de sus sacrificios;

16 And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods.

16 o tomando de sus hijas para tus hijos, y prostituyéndose sus hijas en pos de sus dioses, harán también que tus hijos se prostituyan en pos de los dioses de ellas.

17 Thou shalt make thee no molten gods.

17 No te harás dioses de fundición.

18 The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, in the time of the month Abib: for in the month Abib thou camest out from Egypt.

18 La fiesta de los panes sin levadura guardarás; siete días comerás pan sin leudar, según te he mandado, en el tiempo señalado del mes de Abib, porque en el mes de Abib saliste de Egipto.

19 All that openeth the matrix is mine; and every firstling among thy cattle, whether ox or sheep, that is male.

19 Todo el que abre matriz, mío es; y de tu ganado toda primera cría de vaca o de oveja que sea macho.

20 But the firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb: and if thou redeem him not, then shalt thou break his neck. All the firstborn of thy sons thou shalt redeem. And none shall appear before me empty.

20 Pero redimirás con cordero la primera cría del asno; y si no lo redimes, quebrarás su cerviz. Redimirás todo primogénito de tus hijos, y nadie se presentará delante de mí con las manos vacías.

21 Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.

21 Seis días trabajarás, pero en el séptimo día descansarás; aun en el tiempo de la arada y de la siega descansarás.

22 And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end.

22 Y celebrarás la fiesta de las semanas, la de las primicias de la siega del trigo, y la fiesta de la cosecha al fin del año.

23 Thrice in the year shall all your men children appear before the Lord GOD, the God of Israel.

23 Tres veces al año se presentará todo varón tuyo delante de Jehová el Señor, Dios de Israel.

24 For I will cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before the LORD thy God thrice in the year.

24 Porque yo arrojaré las naciones de tu presencia y ensancharé tus fronteras; y ninguno codiciará tu tierra, cuando tú subas para presentarte delante de Jehová tu Dios tres veces al año.

25 Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left unto the morning.

25 No ofrecerás nada leudado con la sangre de mi sacrificio; ni se dejará de la noche para la mañana el sacrificio de la fiesta de la Pascua.

26 The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring unto the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.

26 Llevarás las primicias de los primeros frutos de tu tierra a la casa de Jehová tu Dios. No cocerás el cabrito en la leche de su madre.

27 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.

27 Y Jehová dijo a Moisés: Escribe tú estas palabras, porque conforme a estas palabras he hecho un convenio contigo y con Israel.

28 And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.

28 Y él estuvo allí con Jehová cuarenta días y cuarenta noches; no comió pan ni bebió agua. Y escribió en tablas las palabras del convenio, los diez mandamientos.

29 And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.

29 Y aconteció que descendiendo Moisés del monte Sinaí con las dos tablas del testimonio en su mano, mientras descendía del monte, no sabía él que la tez de su rostro resplandecía, después que hubo hablado con Dios.

30 And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him.

30 Y Aarón y todos los hijos de Israel miraron a Moisés, y he aquí, la tez de su rostro era resplandeciente, y tuvieron miedo de acercarse a él.

31 And Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him: and Moses talked with them.

31 Y los llamó Moisés; y Aarón y todos los jefes de la congregación volvieron a él, y Moisés les habló.

32 And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh: and he gave them in commandment all that the LORD had spoken with him in mount Sinai.

32 Y después se acercaron todos los hijos de Israel, a los cuales mandó todo lo que Jehová le había dicho en el monte Sinaí.

33 And till Moses had done speaking with them, he put a veil on his face.

33 Y cuando hubo acabado Moisés de hablar con ellos, puso un velo sobre su rostro.

34 But when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he took the veil off, until he came out. And he came out, and spake unto the children of Israel that which he was commanded.

34 Y cuando se presentaba Moisés delante de Jehová para hablar con él, se quitaba el velo hasta que salía; y cuando salía, hablaba con los hijos de Israel lo que se le había mandado;

35 And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face shone: and Moses put the veil upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him.

35 y veían los hijos de Israel el rostro de Moisés, que la tez de su rostro era resplandeciente; y volvía Moisés a poner el velo sobre su rostro, hasta que entraba a hablar con Dios.
