1 Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.

1 No admitirás falso rumor. No te concertarás con el malvado para ser testigo falso.

2 Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:

2 No seguirás a la mayoría para hacer el mal, ni responderás en litigio inclinándote a la multitud para hacer agravios;

3 Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.

3 ni al pobre harás favoritismo en su causa.

4 If thou meet thine enemy's ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.

4 Si encuentras el buey de tu enemigo o su asno extraviado, vuelve a llevárselo.

5 If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.

5 Si ves el asno del que te aborrece caído debajo de su carga, ¿lo dejarás entonces desamparado? Sin falta le ayudarás a levantarlo.

6 Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor in his cause.

6 No pervertirás el derecho de tu mendigo en su pleito.

7 Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.

7 De palabra de mentira te alejarás, y no matarás al inocente y justo, porque yo no justificaré al malvado.

8 And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.

8 No recibirás soborno, porque el soborno ciega a los que ven y pervierte las palabras de los justos.

9 Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

9 Y no oprimirás al extranjero, pues vosotros sabéis cómo se siente el alma del extranjero, ya que extranjeros fuisteis en la tierra de Egipto.

10 And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof:

10 Seis años sembrarás tu tierra y recogerás su cosecha;

11 But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.

11 pero el séptimo la dejarás libre y sin cultivar, para que coman los pobres de tu pueblo; y de lo que quede comerán las bestias del campo; así harás con tu viña y con tu olivar.

12 Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.

12 Seis días trabajarás, y al séptimo día descansarás, a fin de que descansen tu buey y tu asno, y recobren sus fuerzas el hijo de tu sierva y el extranjero.

13 And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

13 Y guardad todo lo que os he dicho. Y nombre de otros dioses no mencionaréis, ni se oirá de vuestra boca.

14 Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.

14 Tres veces al año me celebraréis fiesta.

15 Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)

15 La fiesta de los panes sin levadura guardarás. Siete días comerás los panes sin levadura, como yo te mandé, en el tiempo del mes de Abib, porque en él saliste de Egipto; y ninguno comparecerá delante de mí con las manos vacías.

16 And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.

16 También la fiesta de la siega, de los primeros frutos de tus labores que hayas sembrado en el campo; y la fiesta de la cosecha al fin del año, cuando hayas recogido del campo tus labores.

17 Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD.

17 Tres veces al año se presentará todo varón tuyo delante de Jehová, el Señor.

18 Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my sacrifice remain until the morning.

18 No ofrecerás con pan leudado la sangre de mi sacrificio, ni la grasa de mi ofrenda quedará de la noche hasta la mañana.

19 The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.

19 Las primicias de los primeros frutos de tu tierra traerás a la casa de Jehová tu Dios. No guisarás el cabrito en la leche de su madre.

20 Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

20 He aquí yo envío un ángel delante de ti para que te guarde en el camino y te lleve al lugar que yo he preparado.

21 Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.

21 Guárdate delante de él y oye su voz; no le seas rebelde, porque él no perdonará vuestra rebelión, pues mi nombre está en él.

22 But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.

22 Pero si en verdad oyes su voz, y haces todo lo que yo te diga, seré enemigo de tus enemigos y adversario de tus adversarios.

23 For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.

23 Porque mi ángel irá delante de ti y te llevará al amorreo, y al heteo, y al ferezeo, y al cananeo, y al heveo y al jebuseo, a los cuales yo destruiré.

24 Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.

24 No te inclinarás a sus dioses ni los servirás, ni harás como ellos hacen; sino que los derribarás del todo y despedazarás enteramente sus estatuas.

25 And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

25 Mas a Jehová, vuestro Dios, serviréis, y él bendecirá tu pan y tu agua; y yo quitaré toda enfermedad de en medio de ti.

26 There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

26 No habrá ninguna que aborte, ni estéril en tu tierra; y yo cumpliré el número de tus días.

27 I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.

27 Yo enviaré mi terror delante de ti y confundiré a todo pueblo donde tú entres, y haré que todos tus enemigos vuelvan la espalda delante de ti.

28 And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.

28 Yo enviaré la avispa delante de ti, que echará fuera al heveo, y al cananeo y al heteo de delante de ti.

29 I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee.

29 No los echaré de delante de ti en un solo año, para que no quede la tierra desierta ni se multipliquen contra ti las bestias del campo.

30 By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.

30 Poco a poco los echaré de delante de ti, hasta que te multipliques y tomes la tierra por heredad.

31 And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.

31 Y yo pondré tus límites desde el mar Rojo hasta el mar de los filisteos, y desde el desierto hasta el río, porque pondré en vuestras manos a los moradores de la tierra, y tú los echarás de delante de ti.

32 Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.

32 No harás pacto con ellos, ni con sus dioses.

33 They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.

33 En tu tierra no habitarán, no sea que te hagan pecar contra mí sirviendo a sus dioses, porque te será tropiezo.
