1 And it shall be, when thou art come in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and possessest it, and dwellest therein;

1 Y acontecerá que cuando hayas entrado en la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da por heredad, y la tomes en posesión y habites en ella,

2 That thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the earth, which thou shalt bring of thy land that the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt put it in a basket, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name there.

2 entonces tomarás de las primicias de todos los frutos de la tierra que saques de la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da, y las pondrás en una canasta e irás al lugar que Jehová tu Dios escoja para hacer habitar allí su nombre.

3 And thou shalt go unto the priest that shall be in those days, and say unto him, I profess this day unto the LORD thy God, that I am come unto the country which the LORD sware unto our fathers for to give us.

3 E irás al sacerdote que haya en aquellos días y le dirás: Declaro hoy a Jehová tu Dios que he entrado en la tierra que juró Jehová a nuestros padres que nos daría.

4 And the priest shall take the basket out of thine hand, and set it down before the altar of the LORD thy God.

4 Y el sacerdote tomará la canasta de tu mano y la pondrá delante del altar de Jehová tu Dios.

5 And thou shalt speak and say before the LORD thy God, A Syrian ready to perish was my father, and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with a few, and became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous:

5 Entonces hablarás y dirás delante de Jehová tu Dios: Un arameo a punto de perecer fue mi padre, el cual descendió a Egipto y habitó allá con pocos hombres, y allí llegó a ser una nación grande, fuerte y numerosa.

6 And the Egyptians evil entreated us, and afflicted us, and laid upon us hard bondage:

6 Y los egipcios nos maltrataron, y nos afligieron y pusieron sobre nosotros dura servidumbre.

7 And when we cried unto the LORD God of our fathers, the LORD heard our voice, and looked on our affliction, and our labour, and our oppression:

7 Y clamamos a Jehová, el Dios de nuestros padres, y oyó Jehová nuestra voz, y vio nuestra aflicción, y nuestro trabajo y nuestra opresión;

8 And the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders:

8 y Jehová nos sacó de Egipto con mano fuerte, y con brazo extendido, y con gran espanto, y con señales y con milagros;

9 And he hath brought us into this place, and hath given us this land, even a land that floweth with milk and honey.

9 y nos trajo a este lugar y nos dio esta tierra, tierra que fluye leche y miel.

10 And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which thou, O LORD, hast given me. And thou shalt set it before the LORD thy God, and worship before the LORD thy God:

10 Y ahora, he aquí, he traído las primicias del fruto de la tierra que me diste, oh Jehová. Y las dejarás delante de Jehová tu Dios, y adorarás delante de Jehová tu Dios.

11 And thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which the LORD thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thine house, thou, and the Levite, and the stranger that is among you.

11 Y te alegrarás en todo el bien que Jehová tu Dios te haya dado a ti y a tu casa, tú y el levita y el extranjero que está en medio de ti.

12 When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled;

12 Cuando hayas acabado de separar todo el diezmo de tus frutos en el año tercero, el año del diezmo, darás al levita, al extranjero, al huérfano y a la viuda, para que coman en tus ciudades y se sacien.

13 Then thou shalt say before the LORD thy God, I have brought away the hallowed things out of mine house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandments which thou hast commanded me: I have not transgressed thy commandments, neither have I forgotten them:

13 Y dirás delante de Jehová tu Dios: Yo he sacado lo consagrado de mi casa, y también lo he dado al levita, y al extranjero, y al huérfano y a la viuda, conforme a todos tus mandamientos que me has mandado; no he transgredido tus mandamientos ni me he olvidado de ellos.

14 I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I taken away ought thereof for any unclean use, nor given ought thereof for the dead: but I have hearkened to the voice of the LORD my God, and have done according to all that thou hast commanded me.

14 No he comido de ello en mi luto, ni he sacado de ello estando impuro, ni de ello he ofrecido a los muertos; he obedecido la voz de Jehová mi Dios, y he hecho conforme a todo lo que me has mandado.

15 Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the land which thou hast given us, as thou swarest unto our fathers, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

15 Mira desde tu santa morada, desde el cielo, y bendice a tu pueblo Israel y a la tierra que nos has dado, como juraste a nuestros padres, tierra que fluye leche y miel.

16 This day the LORD thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and judgments: thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

16 Jehová tu Dios te manda hoy que cumplas estos estatutos y decretos; cuida, pues, de ponerlos por obra con todo tu corazón y con toda tu alma.

17 Thou hast avouched the LORD this day to be thy God, and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and to hearken unto his voice:

17 Has declarado hoy que Jehová es tu Dios, y que andarás en sus caminos, y que guardarás sus estatutos y sus mandamientos y sus decretos, y que escucharás su voz.

18 And the LORD hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments;

18 Y Jehová te ha declarado hoy que tú eres su pueblo singular, como él te lo ha dicho, y para que guardes todos sus mandamientos,

19 And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken.

19 y para ponerte en alto sobre todas las naciones que hizo, para loor, y fama y gloria, y para que seas pueblo santo a Jehová tu Dios, como él ha dicho.
