1 Thou shalt not see thy brother's ox or his sheep go astray, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt in any case bring them again unto thy brother.

1 Si ves extraviado el buey o el cordero de tu hermano, no te desentenderás de ellos; sin falta los devolverás a tu hermano.

2 And if thy brother be not nigh unto thee, or if thou know him not, then thou shalt bring it unto thine own house, and it shall be with thee until thy brother seek after it, and thou shalt restore it to him again.

2 Y si tu hermano no es tu vecino, o no le conoces, entonces lo recogerás en tu casa, y estará contigo hasta que tu hermano lo busque, y se lo devolverás.

3 In like manner shalt thou do with his ass; and so shalt thou do with his raiment; and with all lost thing of thy brother's, which he hath lost, and thou hast found, shalt thou do likewise: thou mayest not hide thyself.

3 Y así harás con su asno, así harás también con su vestido, y lo mismo harás con toda cosa perdida que tu hermano haya perdido y que tú halles; no podrás desentenderte de ello.

4 Thou shalt not see thy brother's ass or his ox fall down by the way, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt surely help him to lift them up again.

4 Si ves el asno de tu hermano, o su buey, caído en el camino, no te desentenderás de ellos; le ayudarás a levantarlos.

5 The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.

5 No vestirá la mujer ropa de hombre, ni el hombre vestirá ropa de mujer, porque abominación es a Jehová tu Dios cualquiera que hace esto.

6 If a bird's nest chance to be before thee in the way in any tree, or on the ground, whether they be young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young:

6 Si encuentras en el camino algún nido de ave en cualquier árbol, o sobre la tierra, con polluelos o huevos, y está la madre echada sobre los polluelos o sobre los huevos, no tomarás la madre con los hijos.

7 But thou shalt in any wise let the dam go, and take the young to thee; that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days.

7 Dejarás ir a la madre y tomarás los polluelos para ti, para que te vaya bien y prolongues tus días.

8 When thou buildest a new house, then thou shalt make a battlement for thy roof, that thou bring not blood upon thine house, if any man fall from thence.

8 Cuando edifiques casa nueva, harás pretil a tu terrado, para que no traigas la culpa de la sangre sobre tu casa, si de él cayere alguien.

9 Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of thy seed which thou hast sown, and the fruit of thy vineyard, be defiled.

9 No sembrarás tu viña con semillas diversas, no sea que se corrompan la plenitud de la semilla que sembraste y el fruto de la viña.

10 Thou shalt not plow with an ox and an ass together.

10 No ararás con buey y con asno juntamente.

11 Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together.

11 No vestirás ropa de tejido mezclado de lana y lino.

12 Thou shalt make thee fringes upon the four quarters of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest thyself.

12 Te harás flecos en las cuatro puntas del manto con que te cubras.

13 If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her,

13 Si alguno toma esposa y después de haberse llegado a ella la desprecia,

14 And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid:

14 y le atribuye faltas, y difunde acerca de ella mala fama y dice: A esta tomé por esposa, y me llegué a ella y no la hallé virgen;

15 Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel's virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate:

15 entonces el padre de la joven y su madre tomarán las señales de la virginidad de la doncella y las llevarán a los ancianos de la ciudad, a la puerta.

16 And the damsel's father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her;

16 Y dirá el padre de la joven a los ancianos: Yo di mi hija a este hombre por esposa, y él la desprecia;

17 And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city.

17 y, he aquí, él le atribuye faltas, diciendo: No he hallado virgen a tu hija. Pero, he aquí las señales de la virginidad de mi hija. Y extenderán la sábana delante de los ancianos de la ciudad.

18 And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him;

18 Entonces los ancianos de la ciudad tomarán al hombre y lo castigarán,

19 And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days.

19 y le multarán con cien piezas de plata, las cuales darán al padre de la joven, por cuanto difundió mala fama sobre una virgen de Israel; y la tendrá por esposa y no podrá despedirla en todos sus días.

20 But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel:

20 Mas si el asunto resulta ser verdad, que no se ha hallado virginidad en la joven,

21 Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father's house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.

21 entonces la sacarán a la puerta de la casa de su padre y la apedrearán los hombres de su ciudad, y morirá, por cuanto hizo vileza en Israel fornicando en casa de su padre. Así quitarás el mal de en medio de ti.

22 If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel.

22 Si se sorprende a alguno acostado con una mujer casada con marido, ambos morirán, el hombre que se acostó con la mujer, y la mujer. Así quitarás el mal de Israel.

23 If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her;

23 Si hay una joven virgen desposada con alguno, y otro la halla en la ciudad y se acuesta con ella,

24 Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.

24 entonces los sacaréis a ambos a la puerta de la ciudad y los apedrearéis, y morirán: la joven, porque no dio voces en la ciudad, y el hombre, porque humilló a la desposada de su prójimo. Así quitarás el mal de en medio de ti.

25 But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die:

25 Pero si un hombre halla en el campo a una joven desposada, y él la fuerza y se acuesta con ella, morirá solamente el hombre que se acostó con ella,

26 But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter:

26 pero a la joven no le harás nada; no hay en la joven culpa de muerte, porque como cuando un hombre se levanta contra su prójimo y le quita la vida, así es esto.

27 For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her.

27 Porque él la halló en el campo; dio voces la joven desposada y no hubo quien la socorriese.

28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;

28 Si alguno halla a una joven virgen que no esté desposada, y la toma y se acuesta con ella, y son descubiertos,

29 Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.

29 entonces el hombre que se acostó con ella dará al padre de la joven cincuenta piezas de plata, y ella será su esposa, por cuanto la humilló; no la podrá despedir en todos sus días.

30 A man shall not take his father's wife, nor discover his father's skirt.

30 Ningún hombre tomará la esposa de su padre, ni descubrirá el borde del manto de su padre.
