1 But Solomon was building his own house thirteen years, and he finished all his house.

1 Después edificó Salomón su propia casa en trece años, y la terminó toda.

2 He built also the house of the forest of Lebanon; the length thereof was an hundred cubits, and the breadth thereof fifty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits, upon four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams upon the pillars.

2 Asimismo edificó la Casa del Bosque del Líbano, la cual tenía cien codos de longitud, y cincuenta codos de anchura, y treinta codos de altura, sobre cuatro hileras de columnas de cedro, con vigas de cedro sobre las columnas.

3 And it was covered with cedar above upon the beams, that lay on forty five pillars, fifteen in a row.

3 Y estaba cubierta de tablas de cedro sobre las vigas, que se apoyaban en cuarenta y cinco columnas; cada hilera tenía quince columnas.

4 And there were windows in three rows, and light was against light in three ranks.

4 Y había tres hileras de ventanas, una ventana frente a la otra en grupos de tres.

5 And all the doors and posts were square, with the windows: and light was against light in three ranks.

5 Y todas las puertas y los postes eran cuadrados, y una ventana estaba frente a la otra, en grupos de tres.

6 And he made a porch of pillars; the length thereof was fifty cubits, and the breadth thereof thirty cubits: and the porch was before them: and the other pillars and the thick beam were before them.

6 También hizo un pórtico de columnas, que tenía una longitud de cincuenta codos, y una anchura de treinta codos; y un pórtico estaba delante de las primeras columnas con sus columnas, y una cubierta en su parte delantera.

7 Then he made a porch for the throne where he might judge, even the porch of judgment: and it was covered with cedar from one side of the floor to the other.

7 Hizo asimismo el pórtico del trono en el que había de juzgar, el pórtico del juicio, y lo recubrió de cedro de un lado del suelo al otro.

8 And his house where he dwelt had another court within the porch, which was of the like work. Solomon made also an house for Pharaoh's daughter, whom he had taken to wife, like unto this porch.

8 Y en la casa en que él moraba, había otro atrio dentro del pórtico, de obra semejante a esta. Edificó también Salomón una casa de la misma obra de este pórtico para la hija de Faraón, a la que había tomado por esposa.

9 All these were of costly stones, according to the measures of hewed stones, sawed with saws, within and without, even from the foundation unto the coping, and so on the outside toward the great court.

9 Todas aquellas obras eran de piedras costosas, labradas y aserradas con sierras según las medidas, así por dentro como por fuera, desde el cimiento hasta los remates, y asimismo por fuera hasta el gran atrio.

10 And the foundation was of costly stones, even great stones, stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits.

10 Y el cimiento era de piedras costosas, piedras grandes, piedras de diez codos y piedras de ocho codos.

11 And above were costly stones, after the measures of hewed stones, and cedars.

11 Y de allí hacia arriba eran también piedras costosas, labradas conforme a sus medidas, y cedro.

12 And the great court round about was with three rows of hewed stones, and a row of cedar beams, both for the inner court of the house of the LORD, and for the porch of the house.

12 Y en el gran atrio alrededor había tres hileras de piedras labradas, y una hilera de vigas de cedro, y así también en el atrio interior de la casa de Jehová, y en el pórtico de la casa.

13 And king Solomon sent and fetched Hiram out of Tyre.

13 Y envió el rey Salomón e hizo venir de Tiro a Hiram,

14 He was a widow's son of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in brass: and he was filled with wisdom, and understanding, and cunning to work all works in brass. And he came to king Solomon, and wrought all his work.

14 hijo de una viuda de la tribu de Neftalí, y su padre era un hombre de Tiro, artífice en bronce; y estaba lleno de sabiduría, y de inteligencia y de saber en toda obra de bronce. Este, pues, vino al rey Salomón e hizo toda su obra.

15 For he cast two pillars of brass, of eighteen cubits high apiece: and a line of twelve cubits did compass either of them about.

15 Y vació dos columnas de bronce, cada una de dieciocho codos de altura, y rodeaba a una y otra columna un hilo de doce codos.

16 And he made two chapiters of molten brass, to set upon the tops of the pillars: the height of the one chapiter was five cubits, and the height of the other chapiter was five cubits:

16 Hizo también dos capiteles de bronce fundido, para que fuesen puestos sobre las cabezas de las columnas. La altura de un capitel era de cinco codos, y la del otro capitel también de cinco codos.

17 And nets of checker work, and wreaths of chain work, for the chapiters which were upon the top of the pillars; seven for the one chapiter, and seven for the other chapiter.

17 Había trenzas a manera de red, y unos cordones a manera de cadenas para los capiteles que se habían de poner sobre las cabezas de las columnas; siete para cada capitel.

18 And he made the pillars, and two rows round about upon the one network, to cover the chapiters that were upon the top, with pomegranates: and so did he for the other chapiter.

18 E hizo las columnas y dos hileras alrededor de la red para recubrir con ellas los capiteles que estaban en las cabezas de las columnas con las granadas, y de la misma forma hizo en el otro capitel.

19 And the chapiters that were upon the top of the pillars were of lily work in the porch, four cubits.

19 Y los capiteles que estaban sobre las columnas en el pórtico tenían forma de lirios y eran de cuatro codos.

20 And the chapiters upon the two pillars had pomegranates also above, over against the belly which was by the network: and the pomegranates were two hundred in rows round about upon the other chapiter.

20 Y había también capiteles sobre las dos columnas, junto a la protuberancia que estaba al lado de la red; y había doscientas granadas en hileras alrededor de los dos capiteles.

21 And he set up the pillars in the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called the name thereof Jachin: and he set up the left pillar, and called the name thereof Boaz.

21 Y erigió estas columnas en el pórtico del templo; y cuando hubo alzado la columna del lado derecho, le puso por nombre Jaquín; y cuando hubo alzado la columna del lado izquierdo, llamó su nombre Boaz.

22 And upon the top of the pillars was lily work: so was the work of the pillars finished.

22 Y puso en las cabezas de las columnas un tallado en forma de lirios, y así se acabó la obra de las columnas.

23 And he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, and his height was five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.

23 Hizo asimismo un mar de bronce fundido, de diez codos de un lado al otro, perfectamente redondo; y su altura era de cinco codos, y lo ceñía alrededor un cordón de treinta codos.

24 And under the brim of it round about there were knops compassing it, ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about: the knops were cast in two rows, when it was cast.

24 Y rodeaban aquel mar por debajo de su borde, todo alrededor, unas bolas como calabazas, diez en cada codo, que ceñían el mar alrededor en dos hileras, las cuales habían sido fundidas junto con el mar.

25 It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.

25 Descansaba sobre doce bueyes; tres miraban al norte, y tres miraban al occidente, y tres miraban al sur y tres miraban al oriente; sobre estos se apoyaba el mar, y las ancas de ellos estaban hacia la parte de adentro.

26 And it was an hand breadth thick, and the brim thereof was wrought like the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies: it contained two thousand baths.

26 Y el grosor del mar era de un palmo, y su borde era labrado como el borde de un cáliz de flor de lis; y cabían en él dos mil batos.

27 And he made ten bases of brass; four cubits was the length of one base, and four cubits the breadth thereof, and three cubits the height of it.

27 Hizo también diez basas de bronce, siendo la longitud de cada basa de cuatro codos, y la anchura de cuatro codos y de tres codos la altura.

28 And the work of the bases was on this manner: they had borders, and the borders were between the ledges:

28 Asimismo la obra de las basas era esta: tenían unos tableros, los cuales estaban entre molduras;

29 And on the borders that were between the ledges were lions, oxen, and cherubims: and upon the ledges there was a base above: and beneath the lions and oxen were certain additions made of thin work.

29 y sobre aquellos tableros que estaban entre las molduras había figuras de leones, y de bueyes y de querubines; y sobre las molduras de la basa, tanto encima como debajo de los leones y de los bueyes, había unas guirnaldas de bajo relieve.

30 And every base had four brasen wheels, and plates of brass: and the four corners thereof had undersetters: under the laver were undersetters molten, at the side of every addition.

30 Y cada basa tenía cuatro ruedas de bronce, con ejes de bronce, y en sus cuatro esquinas había unos soportes de fundición, debajo de la fuente, con guirnaldas a cada lado.

31 And the mouth of it within the chapiter and above was a cubit: but the mouth thereof was round after the work of the base, a cubit and an half: and also upon the mouth of it were gravings with their borders, foursquare, not round.

31 Y la boca de la pila entraba un codo en el remate que salía para arriba de la basa, y era su boca redonda, de la misma hechura del remate, y era de un codo y medio. Había también sobre la boca entalladuras con sus tableros, los cuales eran cuadrados, no redondos.

32 And under the borders were four wheels; and the axletrees of the wheels were joined to the base: and the height of a wheel was a cubit and half a cubit.

32 Las cuatro ruedas estaban debajo de los tableros, y los soportes de los ejes de las ruedas salían de la misma basa. La altura de cada rueda era de un codo y medio.

33 And the work of the wheels was like the work of a chariot wheel: their axletrees, and their naves, and their felloes, and their spokes, were all molten.

33 Y la hechura de las ruedas era como la hechura de las ruedas de un carro; los soportes de sus ejes, sus rayos, y sus cubos y sus cinchos, todo era de fundición.

34 And there were four undersetters to the four corners of one base: and the undersetters were of the very base itself.

34 Asimismo los cuatro soportes de las cuatro esquinas de cada basa, y los soportes eran de la misma basa.

35 And in the top of the base was there a round compass of half a cubit high: and on the top of the base the ledges thereof and the borders thereof were of the same.

35 Y en lo alto de la basa había una banda circular de medio codo de altura; y encima de la basa sus molduras y marcos, los cuales eran de una sola pieza.

36 For on the plates of the ledges thereof, and on the borders thereof, he graved cherubims, lions, and palm trees, according to the proportion of every one, and additions round about.

36 Y en las tablas de las molduras y en los tableros grabó entalladuras de querubines, y de leones y de palmeras, según el espacio de cada uno, y alrededor otros adornos.

37 After this manner he made the ten bases: all of them had one casting, one measure, and one size.

37 De esta forma hizo diez basas fundidas de una misma manera, de una misma medida y de una misma entalladura.

38 Then made he ten lavers of brass: one laver contained forty baths: and every laver was four cubits: and upon every one of the ten bases one laver.

38 Hizo también diez fuentes de bronce; cada fuente contenía cuarenta batos, y cada una era de cuatro codos; y asentó una fuente sobre cada una de las diez basas.

39 And he put five bases on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house: and he set the sea on the right side of the house eastward over against the south.

39 Y puso cinco basas al lado derecho de la casa, y las otras cinco al lado izquierdo, y asentó el mar al lado derecho de la casa, hacia el sureste.

40 And Hiram made the lavers, and the shovels, and the basins. So Hiram made an end of doing all the work that he made king Solomon for the house of the LORD:

40 Asimismo Hiram hizo fuentes, y tenazas y tazones. Así acabó toda la obra que hizo para el rey Salomón para la casa de Jehová,

41 The two pillars, and the two bowls of the chapiters that were on the top of the two pillars; and the two networks, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters which were upon the top of the pillars;

41 a saber: Dos columnas, y las partes redondas de los capiteles que estaban en lo alto de las dos columnas; y dos redes que cubrían las dos partes redondas de los capiteles que estaban sobre la cabeza de las columnas;

42 And four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, even two rows of pomegranates for one network, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that were upon the pillars;

42 y cuatrocientas granadas para las dos redes, dos hileras de granadas en cada red, para cubrir las dos partes redondas que estaban sobre las cabezas de las columnas;

43 And the ten bases, and ten lavers on the bases;

43 y las diez basas, y las diez fuentes sobre las basas;

44 And one sea, and twelve oxen under the sea;

44 y un mar, y doce bueyes debajo del mar;

45 And the pots, and the shovels, and the basins: and all these vessels, which Hiram made to king Solomon for the house of the LORD, were of bright brass.

45 y calderos, y tenazas y tazones; y todos los utensilios que Hiram hizo para el rey Salomón, para la casa de Jehová, eran de bronce bruñido.

46 In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarthan.

46 Todo lo hizo fundir el rey en la llanura del Jordán, en tierra arcillosa, entre Sucot y Saretán.

47 And Solomon left all the vessels unweighed, because they were exceeding many: neither was the weight of the brass found out.

47 Y dejó Salomón todos los utensilios sin pesarlos, por la gran cantidad de ellos, ni tampoco se determinó el peso del bronce.

48 And Solomon made all the vessels that pertained unto the house of the LORD: the altar of gold, and the table of gold, whereupon the shewbread was,

48 Entonces hizo Salomón todos los enseres que pertenecían a la casa de Jehová: el altar de oro, y la mesa, también de oro, sobre la cual estaban los panes de la proposición,

49 And the candlesticks of pure gold, five on the right side, and five on the left, before the oracle, with the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs of gold,

49 y cinco candeleros de oro purísimo al lado derecho, y otros cinco al lado izquierdo, delante del lugar santísimo; con las flores, y las lámparas y las tenazas de oro;

50 And the bowls, and the snuffers, and the basins, and the spoons, and the censers of pure gold; and the hinges of gold, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, to wit, of the temple.

50 asimismo las copas, y las despabiladeras, y los tazones, y las cucharillas, y los incensarios, todo de oro purísimo; también eran de oro las bisagras de las puertas de la casa de adentro, las del lugar santísimo, y las de las puertas del templo.

51 So was ended all the work that king Solomon made for the house of the LORD. And Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated; even the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, did he put among the treasures of the house of the LORD.

51 Así se terminó toda la obra que dispuso hacer el rey Salomón para la casa de Jehová. Y metió Salomón lo que David su padre había dedicado: la plata, el oro y los utensilios, y lo puso todo entre los tesoros de la casa de Jehová.
