1 So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God.

1 Así trajeron el arca de Dios y la pusieron en medio de la tienda que David había levantado para ella; y ofrecieron holocaustos y ofrendas de paz delante de Dios.

2 And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.

2 Y cuando David hubo acabado de ofrecer el holocausto y las ofrendas de paz, bendijo al pueblo en el nombre de Jehová.

3 And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine.

3 Y repartió a todo Israel, tanto a hombres como a mujeres, a cada uno una torta de pan, y un trozo de carne y una torta de pasas.

4 And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to record, and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel:

4 Y puso delante del arca de Jehová ministros de los levitas, para que recordasen, y diesen gracias y alabasen a Jehová Dios de Israel:

5 Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom: and Jeiel with psalteries and with harps; but Asaph made a sound with cymbals;

5 Asaf, el jefe, el segundo después de él, Zacarías, Jeiel, y Semiramot, y Jehiel, y Matatías, y Eliab, y Benaía, y Obed-edom y Jeiel, con sus instrumentos de salterios y arpas; y Asaf tocaba los címbalos.

6 Benaiah also and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.

6 También los sacerdotes Benaía y Jahaziel tocaban continuamente las trompetas delante del arca del convenio de Dios.

7 Then on that day David delivered first this psalm to thank the LORD into the hand of Asaph and his brethren.

7 Entonces aquel día David, por primera vez, puso en manos de Asaf y sus hermanos la alabanza a Jehová:

8 Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.

8 Alabad a Jehová, invocad su nombre, dad a conocer entre los pueblos sus obras.

9 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.

9 Cantad a él, cantadle salmos; hablad de todas sus maravillas.

10 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

10 Gloriaos en su santo nombre; alégrese el corazón de los que buscan a Jehová.

11 Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.

11 Buscad a Jehová y su fortaleza; buscad su rostro continuamente.

12 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

12 Haced memoria de las maravillas que ha hecho, de sus prodigios y de los juicios de su boca,

13 O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.

13 oh vosotros, hijos de Israel, su siervo, hijos de Jacob, sus escogidos.

14 He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth.

14 Él es Jehová nuestro Dios; sus juicios están en toda la tierra.

15 Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;

15 Haced memoria de su convenio perpetuamente, de la palabra que él mandó para mil generaciones;

16 Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;

16 del convenio que concertó con Abraham, y de su juramento a Isaac,

17 And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

17 y el cual confirmó a Jacob por estatuto, a Israel por convenio sempiterno,

18 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;

18 diciendo: A ti daré la tierra de Canaán, porción de vuestra heredad;

19 When ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in it.

19 cuando erais pocos en número, pocos y forasteros en ella,

20 And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people;

20 y andaban de nación en nación, y de un reino a otro pueblo,

21 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,

21 no permitió que nadie los oprimiese, antes por amor a ellos castigó a los reyes.

22 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

22 No toquéis, dijo, a mis ungidos ni hagáis mal a mis profetas.

23 Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation.

23 Cantad a Jehová, toda la tierra; anunciad de día en día su salvación.

24 Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations.

24 Cantad entre las naciones su gloria, y entre todos los pueblos sus maravillas,

25 For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods.

25 porque grande es Jehová, y digno de suprema alabanza y de ser temido sobre todos los dioses.

26 For all the gods of the people are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.

26 Porque todos los dioses de los pueblos son nada, mas Jehová hizo los cielos.

27 Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.

27 Majestad y hermosura delante de él; fortaleza y alegría en su morada.

28 Give unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

28 Tributad a Jehová, oh familias de los pueblos, tributad a Jehová gloria y fortaleza.

29 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

29 Tributad a Jehová la gloria debida a su nombre; traed ofrenda y venid delante de él; postraos delante de Jehová en la hermosura de la santidad.

30 Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.

30 Temblad ante su presencia, toda la tierra; el mundo será aún afirmado para que no se conmueva.

31 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD reigneth.

31 Alégrense los cielos, y regocíjese la tierra, y digan entre las naciones: Jehová reina.

32 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.

32 Resuene el mar y su plenitud; alégrese el campo y todo lo que hay en él.

33 Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the LORD, because he cometh to judge the earth.

33 Entonces cantarán los árboles de los bosques delante de Jehová, porque viene a juzgar la tierra.

34 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

34 Alabad a Jehová, porque él es bueno, porque su misericordia es eterna.

35 And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.

35 Y decid: Sálvanos, oh Dios, salvación nuestra; recógenos y líbranos de las naciones, para que confesemos tu santo nombre y nos gloriemos en tus alabanzas.

36 Blessed be the LORD God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the LORD.

36 Bendito sea Jehová Dios de Israel, de eternidad en eternidad. Y dijo todo el pueblo: Amén, y alabó a Jehová.

37 So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the LORD Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required:

37 Y dejó allí, delante del arca del convenio de Jehová, a Asaf y a sus hermanos, para que ministrasen de continuo delante del arca, cada cosa en su día;

38 And Obed-edom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obed-edom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be porters:

38 y a Obed-edom y a sus hermanos, sesenta y ocho; y a Obed-edom hijo de Jedutún y a Hosa, como porteros.

39 And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place that was at Gibeon,

39 Asimismo al sacerdote Sadoc y a sus hermanos, los sacerdotes, delante del tabernáculo de Jehová en el lugar alto que estaba en Gabaón,

40 To offer burnt offerings unto the LORD upon the altar of the burnt offering continually morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the law of the LORD, which he commanded Israel;

40 para que ofreciesen continuamente, por la mañana y por la tarde, holocaustos a Jehová en el altar del holocausto, y conforme a todo lo que está escrito en la ley de Jehová, que él mandó a Israel;

41 And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever;

41 y con ellos a Hemán, y a Jedutún y a los otros escogidos, designados por sus nombres, para alabar a Jehová, porque es eterna su misericordia.

42 And with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were porters.

42 Y con ellos a Hemán y a Jedutún, con trompetas y címbalos para los que tocaban, y con otros instrumentos de música de Dios. Y los hijos de Jedutún eran porteros.

43 And all the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.

43 Y todo el pueblo se fue, cada uno a su casa; y David se volvió para bendecir su casa.
