1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

1 Después me mostró un río limpio, de agua de vida, resplandeciente como cristal, que fluía del trono de Dios y del Cordero.

2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

2 En medio de la calle de la ciudad, y a uno y a otro lado del río, estaba el árbol de la vida, que produce doce frutos, dando cada mes su fruto; y las hojas del árbol eran para la sanidad de las naciones.

3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

3 Y no habrá más maldición. El trono de Dios y del Cordero estará en ella, y sus siervos le servirán.

4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

4 Y verán su rostro, y su nombre estará en sus frentes.

5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

5 Y allí no habrá más noche, y no tendrán necesidad de luz de lámpara ni de luz del sol, porque Dios el Señor los alumbrará, y reinarán para siempre jamás.

6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.

6 Y me dijo: Estas palabras son fieles y verdaderas. Y Dios, el Señor de los santos profetas, ha enviado su ángel para mostrar a sus siervos las cosas que deben suceder pronto.

7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

7 Y he aquí, vengo pronto. Bienaventurado el que guarda las palabras de la profecía de este libro.

8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.

8 Yo, Juan, soy el que ha oído y visto estas cosas. Y después que las hube oído y visto, me postré para adorar a los pies del ángel que me mostraba estas cosas.

9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

9 Pero él me dijo: ¡Mira, no lo hagas!, porque yo soy tu consiervo, y de tus hermanos, los profetas, y de los que guardan las palabras de este libro. Adora a Dios.

10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

10 Y me dijo: No selles las palabras de la profecía de este libro, porque el tiempo está cerca.

11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

11 El que es injusto, sea injusto todavía; y el que es impuro, sea impuro todavía; y el que es justo, sea justo todavía; y el que es santo, sea santo todavía.

12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

12 Y he aquí, yo vengo pronto, y mi galardón conmigo, para recompensar a cada uno según sea su obra.

13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

13 Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega, el principio y el fin, el primero y el último.

14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

14 Bienaventurados los que guardan sus mandamientos, para que tengan derecho al árbol de la vida y para que entren en la ciudad por las puertas.

15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

15 Pero los perros estarán fuera, y los hechiceros, los fornicarios, los homicidas, los idólatras y todo el que ama y practica la mentira.

16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

16 Yo, Jesús, he enviado mi ángel para daros testimonio de estas cosas en las iglesias. Yo soy la raíz y el linaje de David, la estrella resplandeciente de la mañana.

17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

17 Y el Espíritu y la Novia dicen: ¡Ven! Y el que oiga, diga: ¡Ven! Y el que tenga sed, venga; y el que quiera, tome gratuitamente del agua de la vida.

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

18 Porque yo testifico a todo el que oye las palabras de la profecía de este libro: Si alguno añadiere a estas cosas, Dios traerá sobre él las plagas que están escritas en este libro.

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

19 Y si alguno quitare de las palabras del libro de esta profecía, Dios quitará su parte del libro de la vida, y de la ciudad santa y de las cosas que están escritas en este libro.

20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

20 El que da testimonio de estas cosas, dice: Ciertamente vengo en breve. ¡Amén! ¡Sí, ven, Señor Jesús!

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

21 La gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo sea con todos vosotros. Amén.
