1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;

1 Escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Éfeso: El que tiene las siete estrellas en su diestra, el que anda en medio de los siete candeleros de oro, dice esto:

2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

2 Yo conozco tus obras, y tu arduo trabajo y tu paciencia; y que tú no puedes soportar a los malos, y has puesto a prueba a los que dicen ser apóstoles y no lo son, y los has hallado mentirosos;

3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.

3 y has sufrido, y has tenido paciencia, y has trabajado arduamente por mi nombre y no has desfallecido.

4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

4 Pero tengo contra ti que has dejado tu primer amor.

5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

5 Recuerda, por tanto, de dónde has caído, y arrepiéntete y haz las primeras obras; pues si no, vendré pronto a ti y quitaré tu candelero de su lugar, si no te arrepientes.

6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

6 Pero tienes esto, que aborreces las obras de los nicolaítas, las cuales yo también aborrezco.

7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

7 El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias. Al que venciere, le daré a comer del árbol de la vida, el cual está en medio del paraíso de Dios.

8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;

8 Y escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Esmirna: El primero y el postrero, el que estuvo muerto y volvió a vivir, dice esto:

9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

9 Yo conozco tus obras, y tu tribulación, y tu pobreza (pero tú eres rico) y la blasfemia de los que dicen ser judíos y no lo son, sino que son sinagoga de Satanás.

10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

10 No tengas ningún temor de las cosas que has de padecer. He aquí, el diablo va a echar a algunos de vosotros a la cárcel, para que seáis probados, y tendréis tribulación durante diez días. Sé fiel hasta la muerte, y yo te daré la corona de la vida.

11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

11 El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias. El que venciere, no recibirá daño de la segunda muerte.

12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;

12 Y escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Pérgamo: El que tiene la espada aguda de dos filos dice esto:

13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

13 Yo conozco tus obras y dónde moras: donde está el trono de Satanás; y retienes mi nombre y no has negado mi fe, ni aun en los días de Antipas, mi testigo fiel, el que fue muerto entre vosotros, donde Satanás mora.

14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

14 Pero tengo unas pocas cosas contra ti: que tú tienes ahí a los que se aferran a la doctrina de Balaam, el que enseñaba a Balac a poner tropiezo delante de los hijos de Israel, a comer de cosas sacrificadas a los ídolos y a cometer fornicación.

15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

15 Así también tú tienes a los que se aferran a la doctrina de los nicolaítas, la cual yo aborrezco.

16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

16 ¡Arrepiéntete! Porque de otra manera, pronto vendré a ti y pelearé contra ellos con la espada de mi boca.

17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

17 El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias. Al que venciere, le daré a comer del maná escondido, y le daré una piedrecita blanca, y en la piedrecita un nombre nuevo escrito, el cual ninguno conoce sino aquel que lo recibe.

18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;

18 Y escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Tiatira: El Hijo de Dios, el que tiene ojos como llama de fuego y pies semejantes al bronce bruñido, dice esto:

19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.

19 Yo conozco tus obras, y tu caridad, y tu servicio, y tu fe y tu paciencia, y que tus obras postreras son más que las primeras.

20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

20 Pero tengo unas pocas cosas contra ti: que toleras que esa mujer Jezabel, que se dice profetisa, enseñe e induzca a mis siervos a fornicar, y a comer cosas ofrecidas a los ídolos.

21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

21 Y le he dado tiempo para que se arrepienta de su fornicación; y no se ha arrepentido.

22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

22 He aquí, yo la arrojo en una cama; y a los que cometen adulterio con ella los arrojo en gran tribulación, si no se arrepienten de sus obras.

23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

23 Y castigaré de muerte a sus hijos; y todas las iglesias sabrán que yo soy el que escudriño la mente y el corazón; y daré a cada uno de vosotros según sus propias obras.

24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.

24 Pero a vosotros, y a los demás que están en Tiatira, que no tienen esa doctrina y que no han conocido las profundidades de Satanás, como ellos las llaman, yo os digo: No impondré sobre vosotros otra carga.

25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.

25 Pero lo que tenéis, retenedlo hasta que yo venga.

26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

26 Y al que venciere, y guardare mis obras hasta el fin, yo le daré potestad sobre las naciones;

27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

27 y las regirá con vara de hierro, y serán quebradas como vaso de alfarero, como también yo la he recibido de mi Padre.

28 And I will give him the morning star.

28 Y le daré la estrella de la mañana.

29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

29 El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias.
