1 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

1 Por lo demás, hermanos, regocijaos en el Señor. A mí, a la verdad, no me es molesto escribiros las mismas cosas, y a vosotros os da seguridad.

2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.

2 Guardaos de los perros, guardaos de los malos obreros, guardaos de la mutilación.

3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

3 Porque nosotros somos la circuncisión, los que servimos en espíritu a Dios, y nos gloriamos en Cristo Jesús, no teniendo confianza en la carne.

4 Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:

4 Aunque yo tengo también de qué confiar en la carne. Si a alguno le parece que tiene de qué confiar en la carne, yo más:

5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;

5 circuncidado al octavo día, del linaje de Israel, de la tribu de Benjamín, hebreo de hebreos; en cuanto a la ley, fariseo;

6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.

6 en cuanto a celo, perseguidor de la iglesia; en cuanto a la justicia de la ley, irreprensible.

7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

7 Pero todas las cosas que eran para mí ganancia, las he considerado pérdida por amor de Cristo.

8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

8 Y ciertamente, aún considero todas las cosas pérdida por la excelencia del conocimiento de Cristo Jesús, mi Señor, por amor de quien lo he perdido todo, y lo tengo por basura, para ganar a Cristo,

9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

9 y ser hallado en él, no teniendo mi propia justicia, que es por la ley, sino la que es por la fe de Cristo, la justicia que es de Dios por la fe;

10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

10 a fin de conocerle, y el poder de su resurrección, y la participación de sus padecimientos, llegando a ser como él en su muerte,

11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

11 si en alguna manera llegase a la resurrección de entre los muertos.

12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

12 No que ya lo haya alcanzado, ni que ya sea perfecto; sino que prosigo, para ver si alcanzo aquello para lo cual fui también alcanzado por Cristo Jesús.

13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

13 Hermanos, yo mismo no pretendo haber lo ya alcanzado; pero una cosa hago: olvidando ciertamente lo que queda atrás, y extendiéndome a lo que está delante,

14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

14 prosigo a la meta, al premio del supremo llamamiento de Dios en Cristo Jesús.

15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

15 Así que, todos los que somos perfectos, esto mismo sintamos; y si otra cosa sentís, esto también os lo revelará Dios.

16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

16 Pero en aquello a que hemos llegado, sigamos una misma norma, sintamos una misma cosa.

17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.

17 Hermanos, sed imitadores de mí, y mirad a los que andan según el ejemplo que tenéis en nosotros.

18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

18 Porque por ahí muchos andan, de quienes os dije muchas veces, y aun ahora lo digo llorando, que son enemigos de la cruz de Cristo,

19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

19 cuyo fin será perdición, cuyo dios es el vientre y cuya gloria está en su vergüenza; que piensan solamente en lo terrenal.

20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

20 Pero nuestra ciudadanía está en los cielos, de donde también esperamos al Salvador, al Señor Jesucristo,

21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

21 el que transformará el cuerpo de nuestra humillación, para ser semejante al cuerpo de su gloria, mediante el poder con el cual puede también sujetar a sí mismo todas las cosas.
