1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

1 Y Jesús salió del templo y, cuando se iba, se le acercaron sus discípulos para mostrarle los edificios del templo.

2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

2 Y respondiendo él, les dijo: ¿Veis todo esto? De cierto os digo que no quedará aquí piedra sobre piedra que no sea derribada.

3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

3 Y estando él sentado en el monte de los Olivos, se acercaron a él los discípulos aparte, diciendo: Dinos, ¿cuándo serán estas cosas, y qué señal habrá de tu venida y del fin del mundo?

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

4 Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Mirad que nadie os engañe,

5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

5 porque vendrán muchos en mi nombre, diciendo: Yo soy el Cristo, y a muchos engañarán.

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

6 Y oiréis de guerras y de rumores de guerras; mirad que no os turbéis, porque es menester que todo esto acontezca; mas aún no es el fin.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

7 Porque se levantará nación contra nación y reino contra reino; y habrá pestilencias, y hambres y terremotos en diferentes lugares.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

8 Y todas estas cosas son solo el principio de dolores.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

9 Entonces os entregarán para ser afligidos y os matarán; y seréis aborrecidos por todas las naciones por causa de mi nombre.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

10 Y muchos tropezarán entonces, y se entregarán unos a otros, y unos a otros se aborrecerán.

11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

11 Y muchos falsos profetas se levantarán y engañarán a muchos.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

12 Y por haberse multiplicado la maldad, el amor de muchos se enfriará.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

13 Pero el que persevere hasta el fin, este será salvo.

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

14 Y será predicado este evangelio del reino en todo el mundo, para testimonio a todas las naciones; y entonces vendrá el fin.

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

15 Por tanto, cuando veáis la abominación desoladora de la cual habló el profeta Daniel, quedaos en el lugar santo (el que lee, entienda),

16 Then let them which be in Judæa flee into the mountains:

16 entonces los que estén en Judea huyan a los montes;

17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

17 y el que esté en la azotea no descienda para sacar algo de su casa;

18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

18 y el que esté en el campo no vuelva atrás a tomar su ropa.

19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

19 Mas, ¡ay de las que estén encintas y de las que estén criando en aquellos días!

20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

20 Orad, pues, que vuestra huida no sea en invierno ni en día de reposo;

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

21 porque habrá entonces gran tribulación, cual no la ha habido desde el principio del mundo hasta ahora, ni la habrá.

22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

22 Y si aquellos días no fuesen acortados, ninguna carne sería salva; mas por causa de los escogidos, aquellos días serán acortados.

23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

23 Entonces, si alguno os dijere: Mirad, aquí está el Cristo, o allí, no lo creáis.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

24 Porque se levantarán falsos Cristos y falsos profetas, y harán grandes señales y prodigios, de tal manera que engañarán, si fuere posible, aun a los escogidos.

25 Behold, I have told you before.

25 He aquí, os lo he dicho antes.

26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

26 Así que, si os dijeren: He aquí está en el desierto, no salgáis; he aquí está en los aposentos, no lo creáis.

27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

27 Porque como el relámpago que sale del oriente y se muestra hasta el occidente, así será también la venida del Hijo del Hombre.

28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

28 Porque dondequiera que estuviere el cuerpo muerto, allí se juntarán las águilas.

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

29 E inmediatamente después de la tribulación de aquellos días, el sol se oscurecerá, y la luna no dará su luz, y las estrellas caerán del cielo y los poderes de los cielos serán sacudidos.

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

30 Y aparecerá la señal del Hijo del Hombre en el cielo; y entonces se lamentarán todas las tribus de la tierra, y verán al Hijo del Hombre que vendrá sobre las nubes del cielo, con poder y gran gloria.

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

31 Y enviará a sus ángeles con gran voz de trompeta, y reunirán a sus escogidos de los cuatro vientos, desde un extremo del cielo hasta el otro.

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

32 De la higuera aprended la parábola: Cuando ya su rama está tierna y brotan sus hojas, sabéis que el verano está cerca.

33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

33 Así también vosotros, cuando veáis todas estas cosas, sabed que está cerca, a las puertas.

34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

34 De cierto os digo que no pasará esta generación hasta que todas estas cosas acontezcan.

35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

35 El cielo y la tierra pasarán, pero mis palabras no pasarán.

36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

36 Pero del día y la hora nadie sabe, ni aun los ángeles de los cielos, sino solo mi Padre.

37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

37 Mas como en los días de Noé, así será la venida del Hijo del Hombre.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

38 Porque como en los días antes del diluvio estaban comiendo y bebiendo, casándose y dándose en casamiento, hasta el día en que Noé entró en el arca,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

39 y no comprendieron hasta que vino el diluvio y se los llevó a todos, así será también la venida del Hijo del Hombre.

40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

40 Entonces estarán dos en el campo; uno será tomado y el otro será dejado;

41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41 dos mujeres estarán moliendo en un molino; una será tomada y la otra será dejada.

42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

42 Velad, pues, porque no sabéis a qué hora ha de venir vuestro Señor.

43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

43 Pero sabed esto, que si el padre de familia supiese a qué hora el ladrón habría de venir, velaría y no dejaría minar su casa.

44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

44 Por tanto, también vosotros estad preparados, porque el Hijo del Hombre vendrá a la hora que no pensáis.

45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

45 ¿Quién es, pues, el siervo fiel y prudente, a quien puso su señor sobre su casa para que les diese alimento a tiempo?

46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

46 Bienaventurado aquel siervo al que, cuando su señor venga, le halle haciendo así.

47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

47 De cierto os digo que sobre todos sus bienes le pondrá.

48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

48 Mas si aquel siervo malo dijere en su corazón: Mi señor se tarda en venir,

49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

49 y comenzare a golpear a sus consiervos, y aun a comer y a beber con los borrachos,

50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

50 vendrá el señor de aquel siervo en el día que no le espera y a la hora que no sabe,

51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

51 y lo cortará por en medio y pondrá su parte con los hipócritas; allí será el llanto y el crujir de dientes.
