1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:

1 Judas, siervo de Jesucristo y hermano de Jacobo, a los llamados, santificados en Dios el Padre, y guardados para Jesucristo:

2 Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.

2 Misericordia, y paz y amor os sean multiplicados.

3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

3 Amados, por el gran deseo que tenía de escribiros de nuestra común salvación, me ha sido necesario escribiros para exhortaros a que luchéis enérgicamente por la fe que se ha dado a los santos.

4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

4 Porque algunos hombres han entrado encubiertamente, los que desde antes habían sido designados para esta condenación, hombres impíos, que convierten en disolución la gracia de nuestro Dios y niegan a Dios, el único soberano, y a nuestro Señor Jesucristo.

5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

5 Quiero, pues, recordaros, ya que alguna vez habéis sabido esto, que el Señor, habiendo salvado al pueblo sacándolo de Egipto, después destruyó a los que no creían.

6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

6 Y a los ángeles que no guardaron su estado original, sino que dejaron su propia morada, los ha guardado bajo oscuridad, en prisiones eternas, hasta el juicio del gran día;

7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

7 así también Sodoma y Gomorra, y las ciudades circunvecinas, las cuales de la misma manera que aquellos, habiendo fornicado y seguido vicios contra la naturaleza, fueron puestas como ejemplo al sufrir el juicio del fuego eterno.

8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.

8 De la misma manera también estos soñadores mancillan su carne, y menosprecian la autoridad, y vituperan las potestades superiores.

9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

9 Pero cuando el arcángel Miguel argumentaba con el diablo, disputando con él por el cuerpo de Moisés, no se atrevió a pronunciar juicio de maldición contra él, sino que dijo: El Señor te reprenda.

10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.

10 Pero estos maldicen las cosas que no conocen; y en las cosas que por naturaleza conocen, como animales irracionales, se corrompen.

11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

11 ¡Ay de ellos!, porque han seguido el camino de Caín, y se lanzaron por lucro en el error de Balaam, y perecieron en la rebelión de Coré.

12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

12 Estos son manchas en vuestros convites fraternales cuando festejan juntamente con vosotros, apacentándose a sí mismos sin temor alguno; nubes sin agua, las cuales son llevadas de acá para allá por los vientos; árboles marchitos como en otoño, sin fruto, dos veces muertos y desarraigados;

13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

13 fieras ondas del mar, que espuman sus mismas vergüenzas; estrellas errantes, para las cuales está reservada eternamente la oscuridad de las tinieblas.

14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

14 De estos también profetizó Enoc, séptimo desde Adán, diciendo: He aquí, el Señor viene con sus muchos millares de santos,

15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

15 para hacer juicio contra todos, y para reprender a todos los impíos de entre ellos tocante a todas sus obras de impiedad que han hecho impíamente, y tocante a todas las cosas duras que los pecadores impíos han hablado contra él.

16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.

16 Estos son murmuradores, quejumbrosos, que andan según sus propios deseos, cuya boca habla con arrogancia, adulando a las personas para sacar provecho.

17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;

17 Pero vosotros, amados, tened memoria de las palabras que antes fueron dichas por los apóstoles de nuestro Señor Jesucristo,

18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

18 los que os decían: En los postreros tiempos habrá burladores que andarán según sus malvados deseos.

19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

19 Estos son los que causan divisiones; los sensuales, que no tienen al Espíritu.

20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

20 Pero vosotros, oh amados, edificándoos sobre vuestra santísima fe, orando en el Espíritu Santo,

21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

21 conservaos en el amor de Dios, esperando la misericordia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, para vida eterna.

22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:

22 Y tened compasión de los que dudan.

23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

23 Pero haced salvos a otros por temor, arrebatándolos del fuego; aborreciendo aun la ropa que se ha contaminado por su carne.

24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

24 A aquel, pues, que es poderoso para guardaros sin caída y presentaros irreprensibles delante de su gloria con gran alegría,

25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

25 al único y sabio Dios, nuestro Salvador, sean la gloria y la majestad, el dominio y la potestad, ahora y por todos los siglos. Amén.
