1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:

1 Y al tercer día se celebraron unas bodas en Caná de Galilea; y estaba allí la madre de Jesús.

2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.

2 Y también fueron invitados a las bodas Jesús y sus discípulos.

3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.

3 Y faltando el vino, la madre de Jesús le dijo: No tienen vino.

4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

4 Y Jesús le dijo: ¿Qué tengo yo que ver contigo, mujer? Aún no ha llegado mi hora.

5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

5 Su madre dijo a los que servían: Haced todo lo que él os diga.

6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.

6 Y había allí seis tinajas de piedra para agua, conforme al rito de la purificación de los judíos, en cada una de ellas cabían dos o tres cántaros.

7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.

7 Jesús les dijo: Llenad estas tinajas de agua. Y las llenaron hasta arriba.

8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.

8 Entonces les dijo: Sacad ahora y llevadlo al maestresala. Y se lo llevaron.

9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,

9 Y cuando el maestresala probó el agua hecha vino, sin saber él de dónde era (aunque sí lo sabían los sirvientes que habían sacado el agua), el maestresala llamó al novio

10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

10 y le dijo: Todo hombre sirve primero el buen vino, y cuando están satisfechos, entonces el inferior; pero tú has guardado el buen vino hasta ahora.

11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.

11 Este principio de milagros hizo Jesús en Caná de Galilea, y manifestó su gloria; y sus discípulos creyeron en él.

12 After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days.

12 Después de esto, descendieron a Capernaúm él, y su madre, y sus hermanos y sus discípulos; y estuvieron allí no muchos días.

13 And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,

13 Y estaba cerca la Pascua de los judíos, y subió Jesús a Jerusalén.

14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:

14 Y halló en el templo a los que vendían bueyes, y ovejas y palomas, y a los cambistas allí sentados.

15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;

15 Y, haciendo un azote de cuerdas, los echó a todos del templo, con las ovejas y los bueyes; y desparramó las monedas de los cambistas y volcó las mesas.

16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.

16 Y dijo a los que vendían las palomas: ¡Quitad esto de aquí y no hagáis de la casa de mi Padre casa de mercado!

17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.

17 Entonces se acordaron sus discípulos de que está escrito: El celo de tu casa me consumió.

18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?

18 Y los judíos respondieron y le dijeron: ¿Qué señal nos muestras, ya que haces esto?

19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

19 Respondió Jesús y les dijo: Destruid este templo, y en tres días lo levantaré.

20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?

20 Entonces dijeron los judíos: En cuarenta y seis años fue edificado este templo, ¿y tú en tres días lo levantarás?

21 But he spake of the temple of his body.

21 Pero él hablaba del templo de su cuerpo.

22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

22 Por tanto, cuando resucitó de entre los muertos, sus discípulos se acordaron de que había dicho esto, y creyeron en la Escritura y en las palabras que Jesús había dicho.

23 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.

23 Y estando en Jerusalén en la Pascua, en el día de la fiesta, muchos creyeron en su nombre, viendo los milagros que hacía.

24 But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,

24 Pero Jesús mismo no confiaba en ellos, porque los conocía a todos,

25 And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.

25 y no tenía necesidad de que nadie le diese testimonio acerca de los hombres, pues él sabía lo que había en el hombre.
