1 Let brotherly love continue.

1 Permanezca el amor fraternal.

2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

2 No os olvidéis de la hospitalidad, porque por esta algunos, sin saberlo, hospedaron ángeles.

3 Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

3 Acordaos de los presos, como si estuvieseis presos juntamente con ellos; y de los afligidos, puesto que también vosotros mismos estáis en el cuerpo.

4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

4 Honroso sea en todos el matrimonio y el lecho sin mancilla; pero a los fornicarios y a los adúlteros los juzgará Dios.

5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

5 Sean vuestras costumbres sin avaricia; contentos con lo que tenéis ahora, pues él dijo: No te desampararé ni te dejaré.

6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

6 De tal manera que decimos confiadamente: El Señor es mi ayudador; no temeré lo que me pueda hacer el hombre.

7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

7 Acordaos de vuestros pastores, que os hablaron la palabra de Dios; considerad cuál haya sido el resultado de su conducta, e imitad su fe.

8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

8 Jesucristo es el mismo ayer, y hoy y por los siglos.

9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

9 No seáis llevados de acá para allá por doctrinas diversas y extrañas; porque buena cosa es afirmar el corazón en la gracia, y no en los alimentos que nunca aprovecharon a los que se ocuparon de ellos.

10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.

10 Tenemos un altar, del cual no tienen derecho a comer los que sirven al tabernáculo.

11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

11 Porque los cuerpos de aquellos animales, cuya sangre, por el pecado es introducida en el santuario por el sumo sacerdote, son quemados fuera del campamento.

12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

12 Por lo cual también Jesús, para santificar al pueblo mediante su propia sangre, padeció fuera de la puerta de la ciudad.

13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

13 Salgamos, pues, a él, fuera del campamento, llevando su vituperio.

14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

14 Porque no tenemos aquí ciudad permanente, sino que buscamos la que está por venir.

15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

15 Así que, por medio de él ofrezcamos siempre a Dios sacrificio de alabanza, a saber, fruto de labios que confiesen su nombre.

16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

16 Y de hacer el bien y de compartir no os olvidéis, porque de tales sacrificios se agrada Dios.

17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

17 Obedeced a vuestros pastores y sujetaos a ellos, porque ellos velan por vuestras almas, como quienes han de dar cuenta, para que lo hagan con alegría, y sin quejarse, porque esto no os es provechoso.

18 Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.

18 Orad por nosotros, pues confiamos en que tenemos buena conciencia, deseando comportarnos bien en todo.

19 But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.

19 Y aún más os ruego que lo hagáis así, para que yo os sea restituido más pronto.

20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

20 Y el Dios de paz que levantó de entre los muertos a nuestro Señor Jesucristo, el gran pastor de las ovejas, por la sangre del convenio sempiterno,

21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

21 os haga aptos en toda obra buena para que hagáis su voluntad, haciendo él en vosotros lo que es agradable delante de él por Jesucristo; a quien sea la gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.

22 And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.

22 Os ruego, hermanos, que soportéis la palabra de exhortación, porque os he escrito brevemente.

23 Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.

23 Sabed que nuestro hermano Timoteo está en libertad, con el que, si viene pronto, os iré a ver.

24 Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you.

24 Saludad a todos vuestros pastores y a todos los santos. Los de Italia os saludan.

25 Grace be with you all. Amen.
