1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.

1 Y así nosotros, como colaboradores juntamente con él, os exhortamos también a que no recibáis en vano la gracia de Dios

2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

2 (porque dice: En tiempo aceptable te he oído, y en el día de salvación te he socorrido; he aquí ahora es el tiempo aceptable; he aquí ahora es el día de salvación).

3 Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:

3 No damos a nadie ningún motivo de tropiezo, para que nuestro ministerio no sea vituperado.

4 But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,

4 Antes bien, nos recomendamos en todas las cosas como ministros de Dios, en mucha paciencia, en tribulaciones, en necesidades, en angustias,

5 In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;

5 en azotes, en cárceles, en alborotos, en trabajos, en desvelos, en ayunos;

6 By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,

6 en pureza, en conocimiento, en longanimidad, en bondad, en el Espíritu Santo, en amor no fingido;

7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

7 en palabra de verdad, en poder de Dios, con armas de justicia a diestra y a siniestra;

8 By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;

8 por honra y por deshonra, por mala fama y por buena fama; como engañadores, pero veraces;

9 As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;

9 como desconocidos, pero bien conocidos; como moribundos, pero he aquí, vivimos; como castigados, pero no muertos;

10 As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

10 como entristecidos, pero siempre gozosos; como pobres, pero enriqueciendo a muchos; como no teniendo nada, pero poseyéndolo todo.

11 O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged.

11 Nuestra boca se ha abierto a vosotros, oh corintios; nuestro corazón se ha ensanchado.

12 Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels.

12 No estáis limitados por nosotros, sino que estáis limitados por vuestro propio corazón.

13 Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.

13 Pues, para corresponder del mismo modo (como a hijos os hablo), ensanchad también vuestro corazón.

14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

14 No os unáis en yugo desigual con los incrédulos, porque, ¿qué tiene en común la justicia con la injusticia? ¿Y qué comunión tiene la luz con las tinieblas?

15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

15 ¿Y qué concordia tiene Cristo con Belial? ¿O qué parte tiene el creyente con el incrédulo?

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

16 ¿Y qué acuerdo hay entre el templo de Dios y los ídolos? Porque vosotros sois el templo del Dios viviente, como Dios dijo: Habitaré y andaré entre ellos; y seré su Dios, y ellos serán mi pueblo.

17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

17 Por lo cual, Salid de en medio de ellos, y apartaos, dice el Señor, y no toquéis lo inmundo; y yo os recibiré,

18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

18 y yo seré para vosotros Padre, y vosotros me seréis hijos e hijas, dice el Señor Todopoderoso.
