1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.

1 De cierto se oye que hay entre vosotros fornicación, y tal fornicación cual ni aun se nombra entre los gentiles, al extremo de que alguno tiene la esposa de su padre.

2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.

2 Y vosotros estáis envanecidos, en lugar de haberos entristecido, para que fuese quitado de en medio de vosotros el que hizo tal cosa.

3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,

3 Y yo ciertamente, como ausente en cuerpo, pero presente en espíritu, ya como si estuviera presente, he juzgado al que esto ha cometido.

4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

4 En el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, reunidos vosotros y mi espíritu, con el poder de nuestro Señor Jesucristo,

5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

5 el tal sea entregado a Satanás para destrucción de la carne, a fin de que el espíritu sea salvo en el día del Señor Jesús.

6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

6 No es buena vuestra jactancia. ¿No sabéis que un poco de levadura leuda toda la masa?

7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

7 Limpiaos, pues, de la vieja levadura para que seáis nueva masa, como sois, sin levadura, porque nuestra Pascua, que es Cristo, ya fue sacrificada por nosotros.

8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

8 Así que celebremos la fiesta, no con la vieja levadura, ni con la levadura de malicia y de maldad, sino con panes sin levadura, de sinceridad y de verdad.

9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:

9 Os he escrito por carta que no andéis con los fornicarios;

10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.

10 no quiero decir en general con todos los fornicarios de este mundo, ni con todos los avaros, los estafadores o los idólatras, pues en tal caso os sería menester salir del mundo.

11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

11 Más bien os he escrito para que no andéis con ninguno que, llamándose hermano, fuere fornicario, o avaro, o idólatra, o maldiciente, o borracho o estafador, con el tal ni aun comáis.

12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?

12 Pues, ¿por qué habría yo de juzgar a los que están fuera? ¿No juzgáis vosotros a los que están dentro?

13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

13 Porque a los que están fuera, Dios juzgará. Quitad, pues, a ese malvado de entre vosotros.
